Chapter 32 OSINT
"Huh?" Gina hadn't reacted yet.

What do you know about his son?

"Wait, you're going to target Teixeira's son?"

"Don't put it so harshly. We're just inviting him over for a chat, and to discuss a business deal with his father."

"I've met him twice, both times at Christmas parties."

"Teixeira has protected him very well, and that's all I know."

Hearing this, Zhou Yi was a little disappointed, but still unwilling to let go of this ready-made opportunity. After hesitating for a moment, he asked again:

Do you know his name?

“Biel is his nickname, so—I’m guessing he’s most likely called Gabriel.”

"Gabriel Gabriel Teixeira?"

Gina nodded. "Possibly."

"Let's use this name for now and see if we can find anything useful online. If not, we'll think of another way."

As Zhou Yi spoke, he got up and walked to the stairs, gesturing for Gina to follow.

The two then entered the room where the computer was located.

Zhou Yi pulled out a chair and sat down, then typed "Gabriel Teixeira" into the search box and pressed Enter.

The page loads quickly, but the pop-up results are unremarkable.

A few unimportant Facebook profiles, and discussions about the history of this surname on tracing websites.

More than ten minutes passed, and nothing was found.

"It's useless."

Zhou Yi frowned, staring at the screen, lost in thought.

Do you know his mother's name?

After a long while, he suddenly asked.

"Let me think, it should be Maria Almeida, Teixeira and I introduced her."

Zhou Yi seemed to be deep in thought, then typed "Gabriel Almeida".

This time, there were more pop-up messages on the page.

In particular, there is news about the Almeida family's business ventures, ranging from agricultural investments to energy development and infrastructure projects with the government.

However, there is still no information about Gabriel.

Zhou Yi frowned, but instead of giving up immediately, she changed her approach:
"Maria Almeida, Salvador, Bahia"

Soon, a news headline from several years ago caught his attention.

El Salvador Charity Gala: Socialites Gather to Raise Funds for Children's Welfare

Zhou Yi clicked on it. The news report was short, mainly an overview of the event, but it included a group photo from that night.

In the photo, a woman in an ivory white dress stands in the center, talking to the host.

Standing next to her was a brown-haired young man.

"it's him."

Gina quickly recognized him after a brief examination.

Following this news, Zhou Yi found more reports from that year.

During the process of checking each item, he discovered another photo from the same event.

Gabriel and six other young men sat in a circle.

The text below indicates that—

"Young entrepreneurs and social elites gathered together."

Although, compared to successful people, these people are more like a group of idle rich kids.

Upon closer inspection, Zhou Yi still noticed something amiss.

The man to Gabriel's left, wearing a white linen shirt, has a PP Nautilus 5711 watch on his wrist.

The two stood very close together, their expressions familiar.

That's the key.

Zhou Yi saved the photo to his computer and used reverse image recognition. After several attempts, he finally found his name on a magazine website called "Revista Luxo".

Antonio Vasconcelos.

Zhou Yi quickly found the man's public social media account on Orkut using his real name.

In the file photo, Antonio sits in a red Ferrari, looking radiant.

The most recent post was published three hours ago.

The content is an extremely flamboyant nightclub promotional poster, with the following text:

“festo no CLUB IMPERIUM @ Praia de Copacabana 281! Everything you dream of!”

Clicking into the comments section, ignoring all the flirting, Zhou Yi found something more important at the very bottom—Gabriel's comment.

"See you in three days, buddy, get ready to blow the place up! - Biel_TTT"

“CLARO mano! - TonhoV”

Zhou Yi tried to open Biel_TTT's personal homepage.

Sure enough, it was a private account.

Nevertheless, he still managed to find useful information in the profile picture.

A black cat lay by the pool, the scenery behind it bathed in the golden glow of the setting sun, with the boundless sea stretching out in the distance.

Assuming this photo was taken by Gabriel himself, and not just found online, then three key visual elements are revealed:

1. The top floor has an extremely modern design, suggesting it's a new type of luxury residence.

2. The view from above is relatively large, at least fifteen stories or above.

3. No small islands or obstructions appear in the Atlantic Ocean in the distance.

The only ones that fit the background profile are the apartments along Copacabana Beach.

If it were Ipanema or Bahadda Tijuca, the shape of the coastline would be different, and the distant mountains would not be at this angle.

Zhou Yi opened Google Earth and began searching for matching high-rise luxury homes along Atlantica Avenue.

Zoom in, rotate, and compare perspectives.

About five minutes later, the target building was finally located.

Gina stared at the content on the computer screen, then, after regaining her composure, couldn't help but ask, "How do you know all this?"

"what?"

“These,” Gina gestured with her chin towards the screen, “OSINT, image analysis, social media tracking. You're in the field, so of course you'll be doing these tasks, but this stuff…”

She paused, then added, "This isn't something a typical operative should have."

Zhou Yi took out a cigarette and lit it: "Our training program is very comprehensive."

Gina raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms: "Wait, you're not in a department like SAD, are you?"

Exhaling a puff of smoke towards the window, Zhou Yi leaned back lazily in his chair: "You don't have security clearance, so—sorry, no comment."

Upon hearing this, Gina laughed, her lips curving upwards, and deliberately drawled, "Oh my, what a show of official power."

Zhou Yi shrugged and steered the conversation back to the kidnapping: "We've located Gabriel's place and know he'll be at the nightclub in three days."

Following his train of thought, Gina said, "...Then, we use him to threaten Teixeira and get us on the plane?"

Zhou Yi nodded slightly, tacitly agreeing with her speculation.

Gina paused for a few seconds, her eyes flashing: "I have one last question."

As she spoke, she moved closer, resting her elbows on the table and staring at Zhou Yi.

"Given Teixeira's status alone, even if he wanted to help us, it would be impossible for him to allow us to enter the United States without legal status."

"If you ask me, why not fly to Mexico and then walk across the border?"

"Don't worry about that, you'll know in three days."

Zhou Yi stood up, stretched, and moved around the room a couple of times before continuing:

"But before that, we need to modify the two cars in the yard to make it easier to keep watch."

"Teixeira cherishes his son so much, he must have a lot of secret agents protecting him."
