Chapter 80 Battle Summary on October 6th
Chapter 80 Battle Summary on October 6th
Qasim crawled out of the rubble. He had just reached the first floor before the building collapsed, and the triangular area formed between the stairs and the ground saved his life.
Zion's soldiers began searching for traces of the guerrillas along the streets. Qasim tried to leave as if nothing had happened, but before he had taken more than a few steps, he was stabbed in the waist with a gun.
His body froze instantly.
"Don't move!"
Upon hearing the familiar voice, Qasim's shoulders slumped.
He turned around and saw a teenager pointing a gun at him, chuckling.
What nonsense are you spouting here!
Qasim slapped Assef on the forehead and whispered, "Don't you know the Zion devils are killing people in the streets?"
Assef seemed very excited: "I just saw you hit the Zion's tank with a rocket!"
Qasim's face darkened: "Where did you get your gun?"
Assef: "I just got this from a dead guerrilla. Can I become a guerrilla?"
“No, you’re too young,” Qasim refused.
Assef said, "I'm twelve years old this year, and I even helped my mom set up her stall this morning!"
Assef was the neighbor's child of Qasim. His father died in a clan conflict when he was young, and Qasim watched him grow up.
Assef has always regarded Qasim as his own brother.
Qasim initially wanted to refuse, but when he saw Zion soldiers walking towards them in the distance, he immediately changed his mind and pulled Assef back to their guerrilla stronghold.
Galam's guerrillas preferred to set up their strongholds on the top floors of buildings. This was because they had a wide view, and with the buildings close together, they could easily move from the rooftop in case of any emergency.
The two walked through the narrow corridor, climbed the upward stairs, and arrived at the stronghold just in time to hear the guerrilla leader, Ahmed, speaking:
"Has the broadcasting tower been taken? Excellent! Next, we need to broadcast the message throughout the city and encourage more people to join us!"
Ahmed turned his head and saw Qasim, so he asked, "How did the task I gave you go?"
Qasim: "Done! I blew a Zion tank into the sky!" He turned to the side: "Assef saw it, he can testify."
The rebel leader, Ahmed, was Jassim's uncle, and it was he who brought Jassim into the guerrilla group.
“I met him on my way back, just in time to see the Zion devils arresting our men,” Qasim explained.
Assef puffed out his chest: "Please let me join the guerrillas!"
Ahmed nodded: "Very good! I approve it. It's a very good thing to have young blood joining us!"
But I won't put you in the most dangerous place. You need to learn some things you're capable of first.
For example, passing messages or something.
Assef didn't care about any of that; he was overjoyed to learn that he had joined the guerrillas.
Ahmed then addressed everyone present:
"Gentlemen, we have made contact with the government forces of Al-Iraq via radio. They are currently engaged in fierce fighting with Zion's forces on the Euphrates River."
What we need to do is work together from the inside and outside, create chaos in the city, blow up those Zion scum's tanks, raid their ammunition depots, and keep them busy with their own problems!
At the same time, we must also use radio and television to tell everyone in the city and around the world who can hear the news that Galam has not given up the fight!
This city may have been occupied, but it was never conquered by Zion!
We must call upon more resistance forces to join us; we must let the flames of revenge ignite the banner of Zion.
He paused for a moment: "This may be the most difficult day we've had in the last twelve months."
Perhaps many of us will fall today.
But someone has to stand up today! Someone in Al-Iraq has to stand up! This city must be protected by us!
"Allahu Akbar!!" Everyone present, regardless of age or gender, had eyes that seemed to burn with fire, repeating in short, powerful voices:
"Allahu Akbar!!!"

"Yes, that's right, we've taken down Sergei."
Lu Lin was reporting on the battle situation on his side.
His intelligence liaison was with Brigadier General Ali, an old acquaintance, who asked on the phone, "What's your next plan?"
Lu Lin said, "Our next step is to head straight for Garam and, as planned, join forces with the 9th Armored Division of Al-Irag to launch a pincer attack on the Zion forces from both sides."
Brigadier General Ali asked, "What is the situation regarding battle losses? Do we need to replenish equipment and troops?"
“We will take a short rest, but we will set off as soon as possible,” Lu Lin replied. “The opportunity to fight is fleeting, and we must take the Euphrates front before the Zionist reinforcements arrive.”
According to the original timeline, the Arab countries would most likely win first and then lose, so Lu Lin must now race against time to expand his advantage in the battle as much as possible.
Brigadier General Ali paused for a moment, his voice slightly serious: "Actually, during your attack on Sergei, a new situation has arisen in Al-Irag."
The Kurds, having somehow obtained information, assembled five divisions to attack Baghdad.
The Revival Party is now leading the Self-Defense Forces and the remaining troops in a counterattack, but the situation is not optimistic.
Lu Lin frowned after hearing this.
Surround Wei and rescue Zhao?
This was clearly a backup plan by the Zionians.
But more than guessing the enemy's intentions, he was concerned about whether the Kurds would affect the plan to attack the Euphrates front.
"You mean the 9th Armored Division might abandon its offensive and retreat to defend Baghdad?"
“It’s just a possibility,” Brigadier General Ali replied. “If Baghdad can’t withstand the pressure, they might draw troops from the 9th Armored Division.”
After all, the 9th Armored Division was Al-Iraq's most elite unit, bringing together nearly two-thirds of the country's armored forces.
Moreover, Baghdad was clearly more important to Al-Iraq than Euphrates.
Lu Lin thought to himself, "Isn't this just a joke?"
"So the command's advice is for you to hold your position for now and wait for further information," Brigadier General Ali said.
"No!" Lu Lin directly rejected the command's suggestion: "We only have two options now: continue the attack or retreat. If we stop, we will be surrounded by Zion."
Moreover, they must not waste the initiative they gained at such a great cost.
A sigh came through the communicator: "I'll pass on your message. Good luck to you."
During the subsequent conversation, Lu Lin learned about the battle situation of other Arab forces from the other party.
Masr Army successfully crossed the Suez Canal and took control of a 15-kilometer area on the east bank.
The Surya side, on the other hand, appeared more aggressive. Perhaps driven by an urgent desire to retake the capital, their armored forces had advanced to the outskirts of Damascus, even faster than the Maas army.
Meanwhile, Prince Talal's western expeditionary force successfully joined forces with the Hashim troops and is currently clearing out the Zion forces on the east bank.
“There are too many prisoners here, I can’t take them all.” Lu Lin thought for a moment and then instructed, “I’ll leave a battalion to guard them, you guys find someone to come and pick them up.”
Brigadier General Ali: "Welcome to serve."
