Chapter 55 Zion's Countermeasures

Chapter 55 Zion's Countermeasures

"Major General, you should take a look at today's headlines."

Press reporter said in a phone interview: "Our propaganda campaign has worked. Not only have Western countries wavered in their support for Zion, but even Ant and the United States have begun to take the opportunity to attack the United Kingdom and France!"

Lu Lin: "Start an attack?"

“Yes,” the reporter from Press replied. “Ant previously seized a Zion battleship in the Strait of Tiran. Although it did not have a flag, it has now been confirmed that it was sent by the United Kingdom to support Zion. It is said that the captain and first mate are both from the United Kingdom.”

The same goes for France; they provided Zion with a large amount of military equipment, which is key evidence of their interference in Middle Eastern affairs and their war crimes!

Lu Lin estimated that only when dealing with old colonial empires would Ant and the United States put aside their differences and form a united front, bringing down the heavy stick of economic sanctions.

"The United States has announced a freeze on the overseas assets of the United Kingdom and France, and has also imposed a shipping blockade, while imposing a food embargo on France."

Ant also publicly stated that it would implement a 'reverse embargo' to terminate natural gas supplies to Western Europe.

Okay, although Lu Lin didn't quite understand the economics behind it, he roughly understood that the US and the Soviet Union were finally starting to exert their strength and launching a fierce attack on the weaknesses of Britain and France.

Lu Lin suddenly felt a strong urge to see the scene of Zion's Prime Minister Albert debating with a group of scholars at the UN General Assembly; it must be quite interesting.

He thoroughly enjoyed watching the last "full-blown brawl".

Lu Lin: "It's great to hear this news. Justice may be late, but it hasn't been absent at all."

“But it will still be a long war,” Press said. “The UN’s idea is ‘land for peace,’ but that is obviously difficult. The Zionians will not give up anything they hold onto, let alone their precious oil and water resources.”

Lu Lin recalled the historical trajectory of his previous life. After the same war, and despite the mediation of the United Nations General Assembly, Zion still held actual control of the Golan Heights and even unilaterally passed the Golan Heights Law, declaring the annexation of the region (which was not recognized by the international community), and it has not been returned to this day.

"Land lost through violence, along with dignity, can only be regained through violence."

Lu Lin silently recited to himself, then spoke: "At least we've made a good start. In any case, Ant and the United States are temporarily on our side, and the balance of negotiations is tilting towards the Arab countries."

After a series of conversations, Press also revealed to Lu Lin that Ant had publicly declared that it would provide advanced weapons and equipment to Arab countries, and that the actual attitude of Western countries, led by Prosson, was wavering.

"Alan Valraff?"

"Yes, a journalist from the United States, who a month and a half ago posed as a tourist and infiltrated the Khan Younis concentration camp to document the suffering of the Arafat people imprisoned there."

As a fellow journalist, Press expressed his admiration: "He was barely clinging to life when he was rescued, but within two days he was back to his old self, publicly condemning Zion's actions."

Just two days ago, we were gathering material for a broadcast, and Allen's case was used as a prime example, becoming the sharpest spear to tear away Zion's hypocritical mask.

After listening, Lu Lin was amazed at just how extraordinary this guy was. Was this the awareness of a journalist?

After reading the newspaper article by reporter Allen about his experiences in the concentration camp, Lu Lin frowned: "The Zion people really used the same tactics the Prosenians used against them on the Arabs!"

Leaving Zion unchecked could cause unimaginable damage to Arab countries in the future!

After finishing his call with Pres, Lu Lin put down the receiver. Suddenly, he heard a conversation in an unfamiliar language outside, which sounded like Hebrew.

"Zionists?"

Lu Lin pushed open the door and saw several Ashkenazi people in suits walking out of the presidential suite. Their headdresses were very distinctive.

He never expected the Zionians to be here. He entered the room and saw old Muhammad and several other princes sitting on the sofa, a heavy atmosphere hanging in the air. A bad feeling rose in Lu Lin's heart. He asked, "What happened?"

Prince Faisal looked at his nephew and said, "Zion has started to make moves against us. The envoy who just came was sent by them to try to persuade us to leave the Arab League, to keep Shuangzhi neutral, or to join the Western countries. In short, they want us to stop interfering in the affairs between Zion and other Arab countries."

Isn't this just wishful thinking?

But looking at the princes' expressions, Lu Lin sensed that things weren't so simple: "What did they promise?"

"Peace and rights."

Prince Faisal said with concern: "Moreover, Shuangzhi is not the first Arab country they have approached, nor will it be the last. What we are worried about is that other Arab countries will fall into their trap."

"Perhaps we are overthinking it? What Arab country would fall for such an obvious divisive tactic?"

Prince Abdul retorted, "Now that the entire Arab world is facing annihilation, uniting against Zion is the only way forward!"

"I'm afraid some countries might be tempted and secretly accept the Zionians' proposal," Prince Suleiman suddenly said.

Silence fell in the meeting room again. Everyone knew that there was little credibility among the so-called Arab allies.

As early as the First Arab-Israeli War, Masr and Hashim intervened in the war under the pretext of "supporting Arafat's compatriots".

In the end, however, Zion, Masr, and Hashim divided up the territory that originally belonged to Arafat, leaving only the Arafat people with tears in their eyes.

It's fair to say that none of them are good people; they're all thinking about how to betray their allies.

“But Zion just fought them to the death. How can they possibly turn hostility into friendship?” Prince Abdul frowned.

The more you can't figure it out, the more uneasy you feel.

"Let's wait for the vote results," Prince Faisal sighed.

That evening, the results of the first round of voting on the UN draft resolution demanding the withdrawal of troops from Zion and imposing sanctions on the United Kingdom and France were finally announced.

Of the five permanent members, three votes passed.

Under pressure, the United Kingdom and France chose to abstain.

Of the remaining member states, 79 voted in favor, 16 voted against, and 22 abstained.
The draft bill supporting the withdrawal of troops from Zion passed by a significant margin.

But when everyone saw the list of member states that abstained, the names of several Arab countries were prominently featured.

"Hashim, Carthage, Rawaa"

Lu Lin and the others immediately felt heavy-hearted.
