After a century of worship, I became the ancestor of the tribe.

Chapter 34 As expected of a witch, she's a master of poison (PK, please read on)
This trip was different from previous clan hunts, and there was no way to ensure everyone was returned alive to the ancestral temple.

Even in the past, hunting teams would only bring back one live animal to offer as a tribute to their ancestors.

Unless they are very lucky, they will catch more live prey; most of their prey is killed and brought back.

The reason why so many wild beasts were trapped in the ancestral temple before was mainly due to the improvement of the medicine prescription.

It was only after being provoked that Huotang, the clan leader, began to frequently go out and capture live wild beasts.

Everyone understands this feeling; it's like having a new wife and constantly thinking about falling down, day and night.

At first, the addiction was intense.

"Ah Can, this strange fish hasn't reached the next level yet."

The clansman who received the monster fish's blood was Uncle Huo Kui, who didn't understand what it was for.

"Amu, come here."

Shen Can called out to a member of his tribe, and, with the beast's blood on his hands, headed towards the makeshift cave.

Talking too much is not as convincing as success.

As the head instructor of the Blazing Flame Clan, he was in charge of the specific martial arts training of the selected clansmen.

Amu was a talented martial artist he selected from among so many clansmen; he was young and tall.

As for how high his talent was, he was considered top-tier in the tribe.

Inside the cave.

The witchcraft medicines he brought had already been sorted and put away. Shen Can found the medicine packet marked with neutralizing witchcraft medicine and poured it into the blood tank.

Amu stirred the fish blood himself, and bubbling blood rose up, filling the cave with a strong fishy smell.

"This fish blood is not of the highest quality, but you have been cultivating non-stop for more than a month and have long since reached the critical point of advancing to the next level of martial artist. What you are missing is this catalyst."

Shen Can only put half of the neutralizing powder into the witch's medicine bag. After so many days of thinking, he had a new idea about soaking the animal blood.

Cultivating martial arts is equivalent to the evolution of martial arts. Most clansmen, before reaching the power of the first desolation, have reached the first limit of their physical body.

To continue improving one's strength, one needs to rely on external forces to break through this limit and reach a higher ceiling.

Soaking in beast blood is actually a way to break through the shackles of limits, not a way to enhance one's qi.

Once you unlock the new level limit, you can use any nutrients you like.

Therefore, soaking in animal blood is actually about using that violent energy, so the neutralizing potion must not be too effective.

Without the tyrannical spirit, how can it be borrowed?

Conversely, if a martial artist has good talent, the first bottleneck will be smaller, and it may be as simple as a thin sheet of paper that can be easily broken through.

If so, the levels are determined by the intensity of the released violent aura.

Depending on the individual's circumstances, soaking in different grades of animal blood maximizes the use of the animal blood acquired by the tribe.

There might even come a day in the future when a clansman like Shen Can himself will emerge, able to break free of shackles through his own strength without needing to be soaked in beast blood.

He recorded all of this, and he planned to take in a few talented children from the clan, train them, and then hand the matter over to them for further research.

After drying for most of the day, Amu completely submerged himself in the stone trough.

Shen Can did not leave. He watched Amu practice Kui Niu Fist repeatedly inside the cave, occasionally pointing out his incorrect posture.

When Amu emerged from the health bar for the second time, the wind from his punches howled and echoed throughout the cave.

"then."

Shen Can grabbed a rough bow and threw it over.

After Ah Mu grabbed it, he drew the bow to a full moon shape in one go, and then drew it back more than ten times.

"I have become a Stone-Splitting Warrior."

Amu, who was holding a rough bow, revealed a look of surprise.

"Don't waste the remaining beast blood, absorb it quickly."

Shen Can did not disturb the 'young man's' joy and walked out of the cave with his hands behind his back.

In the valley.

The second strange fish fry had already been pulled up, and Shen Can called to the second member of the tribe to prepare to soak it in beast blood.

……

Rumble!
The thrown stones fell like hailstones, causing the strange fish in the water to roar angrily, knocking the stones out and creating towering waves.

"Smash!"

Huotang was the only one near the pool; the rest of the tribesmen were on the mountains on either side, looking down from a high vantage point.

No matter how the strange fish roared and stirred up waves, it couldn't touch them.

Instead, the raging floodwaters flowed along the gullies and out of the valley.

Seeing this, everyone threw stones down even more enthusiastically.

call out!
When another strange baby fish jumped out, Huotang drew his bow and shot.

Amidst the spray, a slender tail shimmering with an eerie light shot through the air, blocking the arrow and sending it flying with a metallic clang.

After retrieving the arrow, Huotang retreated more than ten feet and let his people continue throwing stones.

And so, the stone-throwing battle lasted for two days and one night.

Even though the strange fish kept twisting its body to block the rocks, it couldn't stop the pool from being filled up and overflowing.

Looking down from his vantage point, Shen Can finally got a clear view of the strange fish.

"Gurgle!" "Gurgle!"

The strange fish sheltered the small fish beneath its body, and its enormous shadow lingered in the water, constantly making sounds.

It has a fish head and a snake body, with mysterious scales and patterns on its body, four legs on its belly, and a slender tail like a deer's tail.

On the contrary, although the baby fish also had mysterious markings, it was unlike the strange fish in other aspects, and it had fangs in its mouth. It even tore apart and swallowed an injured member of its own kind.

"Ah Chan".

Huo Tang gripped his ironwood spear, indicating that if Shen Can didn't act, he would call upon his tribesmen to join the attack. Shen Can glanced around at the surrounding mountains and saw many tribesmen pulling out animal sinew ropes, hook spears, and other tools.

The fish's fins had already surfaced, and the tribesmen stopped throwing stones, while the strange fish stopped thrashing its body.

The main problem is that the strange fish has been through a lot these past two days. It was swimming upstream from the giant swamp and never expected to encounter such a battle.

They couldn't hit it, so they could only passively take the hits, and the pond where they lived was gradually filled in.

That's not fair to fish.

"Gurgle!" "Gurgle!!"

"Let's throw stones in for another half day, the less water the better, I'm going to prepare the medicine."

……

Half a day later.

Shen Can led a group of his clansmen out of the cave, each carrying two or three jars in their arms.

Shen Can wasn't confident about dealing with the third-tier wild beast, so he prepared a total of ninety jars of Wuma Boiling Powder, which he first stirred with water to make it into a slurry.

"First smash thirty jars, then add them one jar at a time."

The tribesmen, positioned high above, hurled the sludge at the strange fish with its exposed fins, the sludge landing on its back and dissolving into the water surrounding the fish.

For a moment, many clansmen looked down at the strange fish from their high vantage point.

"Look, it's floating!"

At this moment, a sharp-eyed member of the tribe pointed into the water and shouted.

Then you can see small, dark-colored fish rising from the surface of the water, their bodies swaying on the surface, unable to swim in a straight line.

It swayed and rolled around in the water like someone having a seizure.

The strange fish began to struggle, its massive body thrashing about and slapping the small fish off the surface, two of which crashed onto the shore.

"Gurgle!"

"Gurgle!"

The strange fish made a sound, its body constantly stirring the water around it, its gills flapping, and its body began to tilt.

"Throw it again!"

Seeing that the medicinal concentration was being dispersed by the strange fish, Shen Can called on his clansmen to continue.

"Smash the fish head!"

"I come!"

Huotang strode over to the tribesmen, grabbed the jar, and smashed it against the gills of the strange fish, pouring the thick anesthetic into the gills.

He kept moving, each time applying the anesthetic to the fish's head.

The strange fish sensed the danger and repeatedly raised and slammed its massive tail, stirring up the surrounding water as it tried to plunge downwards.

The underwater area was covered with pebbles, and even though the strange fish used all its strength to break the stones underwater, the lower half of its huge body still protruded above the water.

Seeing the strange fish's behavior, Huotang grabbed the animal sinew rope prepared by his tribesmen, weighed it in his hand, and threw it out.

The rope was wrapped around the fish's tail several times.

"pull!"

Behind Huotang, the Mountain-Opening Realm people were in front, and the Stone-Splitting Realm people were behind, all holding onto the thick animal sinew ropes.

As for Shen Can, A Yu carried him away to a distance of more than ten feet.

"Come up!"

Dozens of burly men shouted in unison and exerted their strength.

"Wow!"

Before the strange fish could even struggle, or rather, before its body was paralyzed and unable to make any struggle movements, its massive body was dragged out of the pool.

The tribesmen dragged him out of the pool and onto the ground outside the valley.

Looking at the strange fish lying on the ground, struggling but not moving much, everyone was excited.

"This is the first time I've seen such an obedient Tier 3 monster fish."

"Hey, Ah-Can's potion is really effective. It didn't even struggle, and the third-tier wild beast was completely at our mercy!"

"As expected of a shaman, she really knows how to use medicine!"

"My lord, there seems to be a small marshland to the north. Why don't you go and treat it there?"

For a tribe, encountering a Tier 3 wild beast is a rare occurrence, happening only once every few decades.

Every time they hunt a Tier 3 wild beast, the clan suffers heavy losses.

But they couldn't afford not to hunt third-tier wild beasts, as these were the catalyst for advancing to the Heavenly Vein Realm and a guarantee passed down through the tribe. They had no choice but to risk casualties to make a move.

Especially the large wild beasts in the mountains, once they start to struggle in their death throes, can easily kill or seriously injure them if they are only at the Mountain Splitting or Stone Cracking Realm.

The third-tier monster fish barely struggled before they pulled it up; it was like a dream.

Since when has hunting third-tier wild beasts become so easy?

Put on the rope, pull, and you're done.

Seeing Huotang grab the ironwood spear and step forward, preparing to take advantage of the strange fish's unconscious state to inflict a serious injury before the effects of the medicine wore off.

Shen Can quickly spoke up to stop them, "Clan leader, wait a minute. We need to find a way to make the most of this rare fish."

I came up with a few generational names, but they didn't sound quite right. So I decided to use the five elements: earth, metal, water, wood, and fire.

There are several interpretations of which element the Five Elements cycle should begin with; here, we'll start with Earth.

Yue, Jun, Shen, Huan, Yan, Shan, Zhen, Yuan, Lin, Xuan. Given the current situation within the Blazing Flame Clan, the protagonist uses the generation name 'Shen', the generation name 'Yue' is the clan elder, the generation name 'Jun' is the fire elder, and the generation name 'Huoshan' is the one who is in charge of the fire. This perfectly encompasses the protagonist's name from his previous life.

The character 沈 (Shěn) implies abundant water and also means calm, steady, and unassuming.
