Chapter 10 Demons and the Abyss

When we left the church, it was already noon. The sun was shining brightly in the sky, radiating an intensely high temperature.

The black-furred creature in his hand was called a Nest Beast.

They need to use their keen noses to search for the pungent smell of these little creatures on the outskirts of the village and then eradicate them beforehand.

However, the village guards would usually just shoot it dead with an arrow and then bury it on the spot.

But this young man did not do so.

Nemus looked at the hive beast's body. The hive beast was not dead yet. The young man's arrow, whether intentional or not, hit the hive beast's leg, and its body was covered with neat wounds cut by a knife.

Around Nemus, ropes emerged one after another, like segments of dark and deep tentacles.

One of the ropes wriggled, as if sensing something, and then crawled along the knight's sword into the young man's body, filling the hole left by the sword.

At this moment, the young man could clearly feel that the village guardian contract within him was being bound by another force.

He managed to free himself slightly from the cage.

"Pool, in the demon language it means 'raise your head,' and that will be your name from now on." The ropes that filled the sky retracted and gradually disappeared, and Nemus's voice rang out at that moment.

From now on, I will be your abyss!

The young man trembled all over, staring straight at Nems, but his feet had already fallen to his knees.
