Hogwarts: Dumbledore reigned over the wizarding world
Chapter 28 Flying Lesson
Chapter 28 Flying Lesson (Part )
Flying is probably the dream of all human beings.
Vaughn, who was not very enthusiastic at first, cheered loudly when he actually rode the broom and flew into the sky.
The feeling of leaving everything on the ground behind, flying through the air, with the long robe fluttering in the wind, seems to make people forget all their worries.
After asking Madam Hooch for permission, Vaughan and Harry flew around the field for a while.
When they came back again, Ron, Malfoy and others had already successfully taken off.
There are still a few little wizards left on the ground.
This includes Neville.
Madam Hooch had been instructing him on the correct form and how to hold the broom, but Neville could never remember. The memory ball hanging on his chest flashed like a stage light.
Malfoy and his followers laughed loudly.
Ron and Seamus were confronting them, so Harry flew over.
At this moment, Neville, who had barely floated in the air, forgot something again. His face suddenly turned pale and he staggered and fell.
Madam Hooch, who was well prepared, had just drawn her wand when she saw two spells from the sky hitting Neville.
"There are many obstacles!"
"Leviosa!"
Neville was pinned at a height of 5 feet, with his limbs spread wide.
The snot and tears swooped out by inertia covered his face, but at least he didn't fall directly to the ground.
"Well done, Mr. Vaughan Weasley, five points from Slytherin!"
Madam Hooch breathed a sigh of relief and quickly lifted the curse to put Neville down. The fat boy was already frightened out of his trance.
Madam Hooch was worried about his mental state. She hurriedly gave him a few instructions and took Neville to find Madam Pomfrey. Seeing Madam Hooch leave, Malfoy became more and more unscrupulous. He rode his broom around Harry and laughed loudly:
"Potter, have you seen Longbottom? Woohoo, Mom, I'm so scared... Oh, sorry, I forgot, Longbottom doesn't have a mom or a dad!"
This sentence completely infuriated Harry.
Even Vaughan was amazed at Malfoy's ability to commit suicide.
How could he say such vicious words without thinking?
Harry bumped into Malfoy hard, and Ron cheered loudly from the side.
The two had been looking forward to a fight with Malfoy.
Now flying in the sky, without the professor, the two little monsters, Crabbe and Goyle, were also huddled on their brooms like quails.
The timing is perfect!
Malfoy seemed to have realized his unfavorable situation and fled in a hurry. The two flew towards Hogwarts Castle one after the other.
"Harry! Harry!" Hermione screamed anxiously, glaring at Ron and pleading with Vaughn for help: "Vaughn, please, go and catch them back. If the professors see them, Gryffindor and Slytherin's scores will be ruined."
Vaughn, who had originally wanted to go and watch the excitement, nodded and followed after him.
By the time Vaughan arrived, Harry and Malfoy had already circled the spires of Hogwarts like a flower.
Even at this moment, Malfoy was unwilling to give in to Harry: "Come after me, Potter, haven't you eaten yet?"
"You and Longbottom must have a good relationship, since you both don't have parents!"
Vaughan sighed. To be honest, at that moment he wanted to curse Malfoy for being so vicious.
Sure enough, Harry let out a loud roar.
Without any more scruples, he suddenly accelerated and knocked Malfoy off his broom.
But he immediately regretted it. Although he was angry, he had no intention of killing Malfoy.
Harry quickly turned around, caught up to Malfoy and caught him.
The poor old school broom was bearing a weight it shouldn't have had to carry. It puffed out a plume of black smoke and fell to the ground.
Just as the two men were screaming and about to fall to the ground from a height of about 10 feet.
Vaughn, who was chasing from behind, and an open window in the tower ahead, cast a spell at the same time:
"There are many obstacles!"
"Shock reduction and speed stop!"
The two of them held each other tightly and were fixed in mid-air.
Vaughan quickly waved his wand and cast another levitation spell, floating them towards the window. He then stopped his broom and saluted the figure behind the window:
"Good afternoon, Professor McGonagall!"
Professor McGonagall's face turned pale. Her serious and stern face was almost cannibalistic. "It's not good at all, Mr. Vaughan Weasley. If you hadn't rushed over, if it hadn't happened right near my office..."
Her hand holding the wand was shaking, and she was breathing heavily:
"I'm afraid these two stupid kids will have to stay at Madam Pomfrey's for a month!"
"Merlin, this is the first time in all these years that I've seen something this awful. Two first-year students, disregarding classroom discipline, are fighting on flying broomsticks."
"It almost caused a major accident!"
As she spoke, she glared angrily at Harry and Malfoy, who had landed at her feet and were still hugging each other under the effect of the spell.
Then he said to Vaughan, "Mr. Weasley, although you also failed to abide by classroom discipline, your behavior deserves 20 points from Slytherin."
"Now, go back to your lessons. Also, inform Madam Hooch of the details."
"Good professor."
Vaughan flicked his broom and flew away, and Professor McGonagall's roar could still be heard from a distance.
This was the first time he had seen Professor McGonagall so angry.
"It's much more exciting than the original book. I wonder if Professor McGonagall will let Harry join the Quidditch team..."
Vaughan had no intention of interfering with Harry's fate; he preferred to look at things from his own perspective and let things take their own course.
For example, he saved Neville today and did not let him get hurt because he had a good impression of Neville.
On the other hand, the conflict between Harry and Malfoy was inevitable. The two of them were born to clash, and Malfoy's foul mouth was beyond Vaughn's expectations.
Unless he is willing to be Harry's babysitter and suppress Malfoy every day, the conflict between the two will break out one day!
Back on the Quidditch pitch, Vaughan shook his head at Hermione, who was staring at him eagerly.
I told you what happened.
Hermione suddenly turned pale.
After asking Harry if he was hurt, she trembled all over: "I! Just! Know! They're going to cause trouble!"
Ron was also scared and quickly approached Vaughn: "Harry, Harry won't be expelled, right?"
Hermione said angrily, "Are you scared now? Then why did you encourage him before? Just wait and see, even if he's not expelled, Gryffindor's house points will be ruined!"
Ron rarely dared to argue with her.
After the flying class was over, the two took Vaughn to see the academy's hourglass.
Gryffindor was deducted 60 points and Slytherin was deducted 40 points, but Vaughan also added 20 points at the same time.
The reason is that although Malfoy provoked Harry, he did not take the initiative to attack. It was Harry who made inappropriate actions and almost caused an accident.
The score gap widened by 40 points in an instant, and Hermione was almost in despair!
Later, Harry was finally released by Professor McGonagall, who brought back the good news that Professor McGonagall allowed him to join Quidditch.
But Hermione didn't want to listen, and Harry was unhappy because there was another bad news -
He was going to get detention with Malfoy!
