I am very familiar with this style and it is relatively easy for me to write. However, my first two books were both war novels, one of which was about the strong conquering the weak (Da Liang) and the other of the weak defeating the strong (Nan Qi). I feel that if I continue to write in this kind of formula and style, people may get tired of it. So I want to make changes and adjustments. This new book focuses on the protagonist's career as a civil official.

It was indeed quite challenging, and I struggled a lot at first. I must thank my editor, Wu Shu, who helped me refine the outline and setting repeatedly, and also helped me secure various resources after the book was published. I am truly grateful.

Then I want to thank my readers for their support. Perhaps I didn't get into the swing of things quickly enough with the new book. In the early stages, there were some plot points and handling issues that weren't quite smooth due to adjustments in style. I appreciate everyone's understanding and tolerance.

Please rest assured that Doumiao Pit quality is guaranteed. I will do my best to complete the creation of this book, just like the other two books, "The Unworthy Son" and "Nine Bestowments".

I certainly can't achieve perfection, but I will do my best to maintain the quality of this book while updating it.
