Chapter 29 Going to curry favor
The extravagant Fendi lunchbox was eventually wrapped up layer by layer with a light blue silk scarf by Lin Wan, making it look like a carefully decorated vegetable basket, taking extravagance to the extreme.

Jiang Guier used her delicate, orchid-like fingers to twist a knot in a silk scarf, dangling it in the air. Her eyes slightly upturned. "Lin Xiaowan, are you sure you want me to use this as collateral?"

"Do you have any complaints about my art?" Lin Wan snorted coldly. "You call yourself a blogger? Don't you know that for something to sell at a good price and reflect its value, it needs to be packaged, and you need to know how to package it?"

"Okay, okay, you're right." Jiang Guier covered her ear with one hand and rushed towards the door with the other, carrying the flamboyant lunchbox.

"Alright, you don't need to follow me. I'll handle this part myself." With that, he disappeared in a flash.

Lin Wan didn't even have a chance to call out to her.

Watching Jiang Guier disappear from sight, Lin Wan withdrew her bent fingers, turned her head to look at the messy kitchen counter, and sighed, "She ran away so fast, leaving such a huge mess for me to clean up."

She rolled up the sleeves of her Chanel suit, picked up her phone, and called a housekeeper to come and clean the house.

Jiang Guier drove the car to the hospital parking lot alone, and turned to pick up the super extravagant lunchbox on the passenger seat.

Suddenly, a sycamore leaf drifted past and landed on the windshield of the car.

This made her pause. After getting out of the car and removing the sycamore leaves, she sat back down and tried to pick up the lunchbox to go upstairs to the ward, but her determination to find her grandmother instantly faded.

One should press on with one effort, for once one's strength is exhausted, and a second attempt will only lead to decline.

At that moment, she had no courage at all.

"Forget it, I'd better not take on the challenge."

Fearing she might regret it again, Jiang Guier immediately turned the car around and drove it out of the hospital.

She drove aimlessly through the streets, waiting for the long red light, watching the pedestrians on the roadside, and for a moment she didn't know where to go.

When Jiang Guier came to her senses, she found that she had already arrived at the building where her mother's company was located.

Since we're already here, let's go.

After parking her car, she carried the flamboyant silk scarf lunchbox upstairs.

The elevator went up without encountering anyone. This puzzled Jiang Guier.

Is Mom's company going bankrupt?

"Ms. Jiang, Mr. Jiang is not in his office, he is in the rooftop garden." The elevator doors had just opened when the personal assistant, who was standing at the door, came in.

"Oh, I see." Jiang Guier withdrew her foot.

The elevator continued to go up. Jiang Guier tilted her head and thought for a moment. She had never been to the rooftop garden and didn't know what it was like.

"Miss Jiang, this way." Following the direction of her personal assistant, Jiang Guier immediately spotted her mother sitting under the parasols in the artificial grove of trees, enjoying the cool shade.

Jiang Yun was sitting in a wicker chair, flipping through company reports. She was wearing a beige silk shirt with a collar that revealed her collarbone just right. The cuffs were neatly gathered, and a thin leather belt cinched her waist to create a smooth silhouette. Above her left breast pocket, the small double G logo was faintly visible in the shade of the trees, with such fine stitches that the loose threads were not visible.

Hearing footsteps, she looked up, her gaze behind her glasses first falling on the flamboyant lunchbox in Jiang Guier's arms, and her lips twitched almost imperceptibly.

"What are you planning?" Jiang Yun put down the report, her voice calm, her eyes fixed on the thing wrapped in the flamboyant blue silk scarf.

"You already apologized to me last time, is this a gift for me?"

Jiang Guier put the lunchbox on the table and patted her chest: "I'm obligated to accept your kindness, dear Mom, do you really want it?"

Jiang Yun slightly raised her chin.

Jiang Guier reached out and ripped off the ribbon on her silk scarf, revealing an extravagant lunchbox inside.

Jiang Yun glanced at Jiang Guier several times.

"Mom, smell this! Braised pork, my cooking!" Jiang Guier opened the lunchbox and presented it to her with both hands.

"Can I eat it?"

"It will definitely taste better than what you make!"
