Chapter 37 Kraft's Departure
"Yeah, not bad, you two are pretty quick learners!"

Seeing that Norn and Eric had successfully condensed a ball of light in their hands, Lord praised them.

This was the seventh day that he had been teaching the other person magic. From a newbie who knew nothing about magic to someone who was just starting to learn, the speed of these two people was quite fast.

At least that's what Celie said after reading it.

"Isn't this too difficult?"

Eric wiped the sweat from his forehead and dispersed the ball of light in his hand.

He had recently seen Lord using magic with ease, and thought that learning magic was not difficult.

As a result, the two of them had been studying for a week just to learn the basic light arrow attack.

If this continues, it will take forever to become a powerful magician.

Compared to the anxious Eric, Noen seemed much calmer. He tried to extend the ball of light again before dispersing it.

Seeing Norn's operation, Lord nodded. Although Eric was stronger in terms of talent, Norn should have learned magic earlier than the other.

"How's the teaching going?" Celie came over and asked Lord.

“It’s a bit difficult to be honest.”

Lord originally thought that teaching people magic would not be a difficult task, but when he actually did it he found out that it was so difficult.

Mainly, he couldn't treat Norn and Eric the same way Celie treated herself; he needed to explain them carefully, step by step.

"I suddenly realized that I have a strong talent for magic."

"You just noticed this?" Celie rolled her eyes at him.

Being able to replicate the elves' light arrows and improve them just by looking at them, this talent can no longer be described as terrifying.

"Oh, this is troublesome. Do you have a better teaching method?"

Lord had a small magic circle in his hand. While teaching these two people, he was also honing his own magical abilities.

"No, this is my first time teaching someone too."

Celia refused outright. She taught Lord magic by demonstrating it herself first, and then Lord observed and tried to replicate it.

If it doesn't work the first time, try again, and repeat this cycle until Lord figures it out.

It can be said to be extremely easy.

It was not until she saw how Lord taught others that Celie realized that teaching others magic could be such a troublesome thing.

"Hey! You two are studying pretty hard!"

Kraft came over at some point and patted Noen and Eric on the shoulders.

He did not stop the two from learning magic. For a warrior, learning magic could also improve his strength.

He doesn't have this talent, so he can only be a monk.

But since the two of them have such talents, they should make good use of them.

This was also the important reason why he did not stop Lord from teaching the elven magic to the two of them.

"Mr. Kraft, learning magic is so difficult!"

"I understand this very well." Kraft nodded. For him, learning magic was as difficult as climbing to the sky.

"But this time I'm here to say goodbye to you. The war is about to begin."

"War?" Celie asked. "What war?"

Kraft casually said, "The coalition forces of the three tribes have already begun to move. The Skywing scouts have discovered that the demon army is gathering in the north."

The north is where the Forest of Elves is located.

Although the Elf Kingdom and the Elf Forest have separated, the latter is the ancestral land of all elves. Moreover, the two sides only separated because of different choices, and there is no deep hatred between them.

Faced with the demons beginning to gather and even threatening the Elf Forest, the allied forces launched an operation. Lord paused, and the magic circle dissipated: "Is it a large-scale operation?"

"It's comparable to the wars recorded in history," Kraft's voice was a little low, "so I must rush back as soon as possible."

Celia narrowed her eyes slightly, showing some interest.

Norn and Eric looked at each other. Even though Kraft had downplayed it, they both knew that this would be an unprecedented and shocking battle.

"Mr. Kraft, we..." Norn said hesitantly.

Some of the Norn wanted to join the war.

Although he knew that he was an insignificant pawn in this war, Norn had his own considerations.

If we just stay in the village, we will never be able to truly solve the current predicament of mankind.

Before Lord appeared, the Norn thought that if they wanted to become stronger, they had to become powerful warriors like the dwarves.

But Lord's appearance brought another possibility.

As if seeing Norn's thoughts, Kraft patted him on the shoulder and said, "You stay here and continue to learn magic. This war is not something ordinary people can participate in."

Norn was a little surprised and looked at Lord: "Aren't you leaving?"

He thought Lord and his group would leave with Kraft, so he wanted to go with them.

Lord shook his head and glanced at Celie. After seeing her nod slightly, he spoke: "We have another destination, and it's even more dangerous than the war Kraft is involved in."

After all, their destinations are the ruins of the Dwarf Kingdom and the place where the gods fell.

It has become a complete biological restricted area.

Norn felt a little relieved. In this case, he could wait until he had completely learned magic before going out on an adventure.

But Kraft seemed to have other ideas.

"Lord, I have a request."

"what?"

"Can you take them both on the adventure?" Kraft requested.

Lord was a little confused. He had no intention of taking the two of them on an adventure. After all, he was still counting on them to pass on the magic.

"May I ask why? You should know how dangerous Celia and I are going?"

To be honest, even Som and Lord felt a little guilty towards him.

After hearing about his and Celie's destination, not only was he not unwilling at all, but he patted his chest and expressed his desire to go together.

Moreover, after observing for a period of time, Lord discovered that Som really wanted to go on an adventure with them.

Is a very reliable partner.

"They are both very strong, but not strong enough. If they want to achieve something, they are not qualified now without going through the trials and tribulations."

Kraft said this as if he could see through Norn's thoughts.

His words made Noen's heart move.

Are they the two?
"This isn't something you and I can decide. We need to consult them personally."

Kraft nodded, agreeing with Lord's statement.

"I have no objection." Norn agreed without thinking too long.

He also looked forward to going on adventures with a fellow human like Lord. Perhaps after hearing about his dream, the other party would support him.

"me too!"

Seeing that Norn, who had always been cautious, said this, Eric naturally responded quickly.
