Chapter 333 Easily Subdued
However, the attackers' aura suddenly became violent, and the steel-hard vines released by Celie were actually cut in half by them, and they continued to rush towards Celie without slowing down.

In response, Celia chose to use the same tactic as before, and four prismatic light shields instantly appeared around her and crashed directly into the surroundings!

The attackers tried to break through the light shield created by Seria by wielding their weapons, which had anti-magic properties, but it was no use.

As the first beings to encounter attacks with anti-magic effects, Seria and Lord had already improved their shield magic.

Not to mention attacks with anti-magic effects, even the killing magic that hasn't appeared yet won't be able to break through the shields released by the two of them.

It can only be said that some demons may be born with outdated magic.

All the attackers were knocked away by these light shields. Although they didn't get embedded in the wall like the lead warrior, they were forced to distance themselves from Celie.

Their plan to close the distance and subdue the elven saint had failed. The attackers exchanged glances and made a decision immediately.

They quickly split into two groups. One group continued to rush towards Seria, while the other group swiftly pounced on Evan and his disciples, who were staggering from the shockwave.
"Defend now!" Evan and the others shouted.

They naturally noticed the change in the attackers' targets, and thus unleashed various magical shields in an attempt to block their attacks.

However, their magical shields were clearly not as improved as those of Lord and Seria, and were quickly shattered by the attackers.

After suppressing the attackers rushing towards her, Celia caught a glimpse of another group of attackers lunging at her disciples out of the corner of her eye, and her face instantly turned extremely ugly.

"How disgusting!" the elf lady exclaimed angrily.

She could see any attack on her as a challenge and wouldn't mind fighting them for fun.

However, turning their attention to her weaker disciples and attempting to use them as hostages to blackmail her completely offended her.

She stopped engaging the attackers and instead cast a high-level gravity spell in an attempt to imprison them.

However, Celia did not expect that their strength was far greater than she had imagined. The gravity magic only slowed their movements slightly, and they were not directly immobilized like the adventurers.

However, Celia was not worried about the safety of her disciples, because she noticed that Lord had made a move.

Just as the attackers who were rushing towards Evan and his group were about to reach them, they suddenly stopped moving.

This is not gravity magic, but magic that directly imprisons space.

Lord appeared beside El and the others at some point. Centered on his position, an indescribable force of confinement silently spread out, precisely enveloping all the figures who launched the attack.

Everyone enveloped by this power, no matter how fast they were or how strong they were, froze in place, unable to move even an inch.

But their consciousness was still functioning, and the terrifying oppressive force that made them unable to move even a finger filled them with extreme fear.

What kind of being did they offend?
Lord lowered his hand and glanced at the chaotic crowd around him.

It can only be said that this country has been at peace for too long, and it has already developed to the point of fighting to this extent, and there are still quite a few onlookers.

Indeed, curiosity is human nature.

"How annoying..." Celia walked to his side, her anger subsiding slightly because of his timely intervention.

She wasn't good at magic that controlled people's actions; she was much better at powerful, destructive magic.

Lord nodded and said, "These people are just the vanguard; the real threat may be lurking in the shadows."

His detection magic was activated at maximum capacity once more, rapidly analyzing the energy fluctuations of everyone in the surrounding crowd. Lord didn't believe there were only a few attackers; there must be other companions hiding in the crowd.

"Among the crowd, there are quite a few mages whose magical power has reached a certain level."

He suspected that these powerful mages were likely in cahoots with the attackers, but had temporarily abandoned their plans to attack after witnessing his unexpected strength.

"Ha! They're probably in cahoots! I don't believe a qualified mage would have the leisure to watch a street brawl," Celia sneered.

“Since you’re hiding yourselves…” A cold glint flashed in Lord’s eyes, “then come out, all of you.”

He was no longer polite, nor did he have the patience to scrutinize each case.

He raised his right hand, his five fingers slightly spread, and made a loose fist towards the crowd in front of him.

In an instant, an invisible spatial force descended. This force was not a brutal attack, but rather carried a certain repulsive characteristic.

Among the crowd, those mages whose strength had reached a certain level suddenly discovered in horror that the space around them was forcibly imprisoned by an irresistible force.

Like the attackers, they were completely immobilized and then involuntarily pulled from their original positions, forcibly "dragged" out of the crowd!

One, two, three... a dozen or so mages of considerable strength were forcibly dragged out and thrown down in front of Lord and Seria, piling up with the attackers.

They looked up, and some of them stared at Lord and Celia, who exuded a suffocating aura. Their faces instantly drained of color, leaving only boundless fear.

They finally realized what a terrifying being they had provoked.

"So spatial magic can do this?" Celia asked curiously, seeing Lord's almost miraculous feat.

She also knows spatial magic; she can use small-scale spatial teleportation and spatial shattering for attacks, but she's nowhere near as skilled as Lord.

"Actually, some other magic has been incorporated as well. I'll teach you later."

"Mmm." Celia's mood instantly improved.

Sure enough, being with this man always reveals many of the wonders of magic.

“But for now,” Lord said, looking at the large number of attackers before him, “we’ll take these guests back first, give them a good welcome, and see if we can get any interesting information out of them.”

The streets were in a mess, but the riots had subsided.

The surrounding crowd looked at Lord and Celia with awe and made way for them.

Lord then used levitation magic to lift the imprisoned prisoners on the ground like balloons, and together with Celie, they walked towards the Magic Association.

"Hurry up and follow! You shameless bunch!"

After walking a few steps, Celia turned around and angrily shouted at her foolish disciples who hadn't followed.

Evan and the others immediately followed their teacher, but none of them looked too happy.

After all, this was a huge embarrassment, and I don't know how much of a scolding I'll get from Teacher Celie when I get back.
