Chapter 86 Naked Ape
Chapter 86 Naked Ape
"Just cherish what you have and don't blindly pursue what is not desirable."
Doudou let out a soft breath, savoring the sense of accomplishment and aftertaste of the previous confrontation.
"Auntie, thank you for playing with me. We had a lot of fun just now! If you still have superpowers like resurrection, you can come and play with me again. I will find a way to let you rest in peace. But I'm not sure whether it will hurt."
"Let's stop here, then? Auntie, you've run out of tricks, and it's getting late; it's time to rest."
He flexed his wrist, ready to smash a head into pieces.
The section chief jerked her head back, her cervical vertebrae crackling. She grinned.
"--Auntie, there's one [Spell] I haven't used yet. Do you want to know? I heard that every boss at the end of the game has a killer move."
Doudou was stunned. The section chief's words were a complete conspiracy:
"Ah? A spell? Is that true? Stop wasting time, I haven't finished my homework yet and I need to go home to sleep--"
He lowered his hand and raised it again, shaking it up and down several times like a twitch. Finally, he stared at the section chief's face suspiciously:
"Oh, forget it! Just finish your spell! Strange, is it really that obvious that I'm curious?"
-
“Curiosity is a great quality: I hope you can keep it up.”
The section chief smiled warmly, blood oozing from every orifice on her face. But her words became increasingly clear, the pauses caused by weakness becoming coherent:
"I, Amandine Dupont, and my immediate family member, Manon Dupont, codenamed [The Witch in the Building], will breach the confidentiality agreement I agreed to upon assuming my position as Head of the Special Package Handling Section at Asia-Europe Post. This will also violate multiple high-risk provisions, including those of the GCA-Group Joint Agreement and the Moroccan Convention."
The section chief spoke in a mumbling voice, like a tongue twister, and even his original strange accent was gone; I don’t know how many times he had recited it, but it really sounded like he was chanting a spell.
"For the protection of Asia-Europe Post and [the people in the building], I now and immediately request to be silenced to prevent further information and intelligence leaks."
Even though the passage was full of difficult words, the section chief spoke every sentence and every word fluently.
She faced Doudou and recited incomprehensible words—not meant for him, but there was no communication equipment nearby. After she finished speaking in Chinese, she didn't stop; instead, she switched to a different language: her tongue kept curling, and the sounds she uttered were a little slurred and thick.
Doudou guessed that she was speaking French and repeated what she said before. But Doudou really didn't understand and could only guess secretly in his heart.
The section chief finished speaking in a flash, his body still shaking in the same place; the scene was somewhat funny: after a series of [spells], there was no change in the surroundings; this made the section chief's words sound like the ravings of a madman.
I looked around to make sure nothing unusual was happening.
"Huh? Auntie, is that a spell? Why does it sound like—silencing? Are there snipers out there waiting to snipe and silence you?"
There were indeed only him and the section chief here; and the 45th floor where they were was a height that stood out in Mong Cai City, and there was no sound of helicopter propellers nearby.
Unless there's a flying invisible sniper, or the section chief has a bomb installed in his body--
The section chief supported herself on the ground with both hands and stood up. The hollow in the center of her body was still oozing with blood that would never dry up, but she was still not dead:
"You'll see soon. But it's time for us to say goodbye. I wonder what you'll become in the future."
"Use your power to the fullest, and don't be bound by anything. The world will change because of you, and you, Doudou, you are already very beautiful—"
-
Halfway through his words, he stopped abruptly.
The section chief looked like a TV screen with the pause button pressed: her sharp and indifferent mouth was slightly open, maintaining the shape of her mouth pronouncing "de"; but her facial features, limbs and even hair had become frozen sculptures.
A drop of blood mixed with saliva slid down the corner of his mouth - the thread of saliva held the drop suspended, without a trace of shaking, as if it were frozen.
Even the ripples in the crimson puddle beneath her stopped within the circular patterns. "Huh? Auntie? You're stuck?"
Doudou took a step forward and leaned down-
click!
The section chief's head, which still retained a human face, suddenly [opened] front and back, up and down, with the corners of his lips as the dividing line: the hair on his occipital bone hit the back of his neck, while the tip of his nose and eyes were vertically pointed upwards; the corners of his mouth split to his temples, but his chin remained in its original position. Doudou could see the mucous membrane of the section chief's upper jaw.
"what?!"
Doudou opened his eyes wide: He didn't expect that the so-called [spell] mentioned by the section chief would actually work.
From this angle, Doudou couldn't see her expression or her eyes; he didn't know whether the section chief was still conscious.
The blood from the torn corner of his mouth did not splash, but instead solidified into suspended water droplets—
crackle.
A pair of hands suddenly emerged from the section chief's throat and out of her mouth. There was no sticky bodily fluid, no wet sound: the hands, fingers pressed together, in a prayer-like position, suddenly lay across the gaping wound in the section chief's face.
Then, the hands suddenly opened, one grabbed the section chief's collarbone and neck, the other grabbed the upper half of her cheek; the angle was perpendicular to her upper and lower lips. It was as if someone fell into the section chief's throat and struggled to get out.
"Wow, Alien! The Facehugger has grown up! So filthy!"
Doudou was so shocked by this sudden change that he let out a sigh and even jumped back a long distance; but like a shock box filled with a spring-loaded clown doll, the surprise was not over yet -
flutter!
Finally, more stuff came out:
A head, a neck, and shoulders connected to the head
It was the upper body of a human.
-
It was like a complete breaststroke: only swimming out of the section chief's body.
".Eh? Is that the witch in the building? You crawled out of your mother's body--oh, not you."
What came out of the section chief's mouth was a man; a naked man.
The top of the head is bald and smooth - without a trace of stubble or black spots, it seems that there are no hair roots at all; the scalp is as tight and smooth as the rest of the face, and there is not even a trace of pores.
[Hey! This isn't that—that someone! This isn't right.]
Doudou suddenly realized that he had never seen this face before: yet the features and shape of the face held an inexplicable familiarity. Rather than a common face, it seemed more like an average of human features, with many familiar elements visible within it.
But it is impossible to judge a person's race by the color of their skin.
The only thing that was different was the eyes—they were so special.
Those were a pair of very round eyes: at a glance, the distance between the upper and lower eyelids and the left and right corners of the eyes was almost the same; it was even as if the pupils were enlarged in proportion, wrapping around the eyeballs.
Like a naughty boy drawing with a compass, he carefully drew a perfect circle; and added long eyelashes.
The man was neither fat nor thin, with no visible muscle definition. His skin was dry, unstained by saliva. In the center of his equally bare chest was a rectangular iron nameplate—gleaming and embedded in the flesh.
There are two raised Chinese characters printed on the nameplate, neatly and neatly:
[The Naked Ape].
The naked man stared at Doudou blankly, and Doudou also stared at him blankly--
The section chief didn't move. The gap in the middle of his chest was empty. He could see the wall behind him through it, but he couldn't catch a glimpse of the man's lower body. He didn't know where the man had crawled out from.
To be honest, Doudou found everything he saw a bit scary: it's not like he hadn't seen horror movies before, and of course he had played horror games. He had just seen The Thing at the beginning of summer vacation in July, and in mid-July he had even finished Clock Tower on MD.
But
I don’t know why, but Doudou always feels a little uncomfortable: there is a certain [feeling] emanating from the naked man that makes Doudou feel resistant and depressed.
This was an experience he rarely had—at least, it had rarely happened to Doudou.
The naked man suddenly spoke. His mouth opened wide, revealing his square, white upper and lower teeth:
"Ah-oh."
He said, still stuck in the section chief's mouth.
-
I was a little too tense. I went back to the hospital and adjusted the dosage of the medicine to see if I could get used to it. My word count will return to my normal level first.
