The pristine white Gulfstream G800 deployed its thrust reversers on the runway and slowly taxied into the VIP parking area. A tow truck engaged the aircraft's nose wheels, pushing this priceless private jet into its designated position.
Under the bright lights of the tarmac, security personnel quickly took their positions like chess pieces on a board. Six Mercedes SUVs were arranged in a fan shape and parked 20 meters away from the aircraft, outside the yellow line. All the window shades on the aircraft were tightly closed, making it impossible to see inside the cabin.
Only after all security personnel confirmed that their positions were correct did the aircraft slowly unfold its onboard gangway.
Several bodyguards in dark suits were the first to disembark, with the leader quickly heading towards the waiting personnel on the tarmac. A familiar figure appeared in Beta's scope: Michael, who appeared to be the ground security commander, speaking with the other party's security supervisor.
A moment later, the supervisor turned and went back into the cabin.
Beta's breathing gradually became long and even, and the red aiming reticle in the scope contracted rhythmically with his breathing, starting from the size of a thumb. He slowly raised the barrel, locking the center of the aiming reticle's contraction at the middle of the gangway, about 1.8 meters above it.
When the aiming frame shrinks to the size of a soybean, the target appears at the top of the gangway under a moving barrier of six black umbrellas. After pausing briefly, it begins to slowly descend the gangway.
At this moment, the aiming frame continues to shrink, and the accuracy is constantly improving. With each step the target takes, it gets closer and closer to the aiming point in the middle of the gangway.

Michael maintained his professional smile, elegantly folding his hands in front of him, and gave a slight bow to the Indian tycoon who was slowly descending the gangway: "Mr. Tividi, welcome to Paris. AAA Security is honored to serve you."
This businessman, with a typical Brahmin surname and a Caucasian face, suddenly stopped in the middle of the gangway, tilted his chin, and glanced sideways at Michael: "I hate Mercedes. Get me a Land Rover right now!"
“Mr. Tivedy, these vehicles have been specially modified,” Michael was about to explain.
"call out!"
A sharp whistling sound cut through the air.
Michael was shocked to see a bodyguard standing in front of the Indian tycoon suddenly jerk his head to the right and tumble down the side of the gangway.
With a muffled thud, the bodyguard slammed heavily onto the concrete ground, and a bullet hole appeared in the black umbrella he was holding.
"Take cover! Sniper!" Michael reacted instantly, rushing up the gangway and using his body as a shield to tackle Tivedi to the ground. At the same time, he shouted sharply, "Everyone, cover! Form a human wall!"
Ground security personnel quickly formed a human wall and advanced upwards, while Tivedi's personal bodyguards desperately tried to pull their employer back into the cabin. The two forces clashed on the narrow gangway, trapping Tivedi in the middle of the metal steps.
The gangway, which was less than a meter wide, immediately descended into chaos.
AAA security personnel shouted "Stay put!" and held the stairs firmly; while private bodyguards tugged at Tividi's suit, trying to drag him back to the cabin door.
In the shoving, Tivedi's suit made a tearing sound, and his expensive custom-made shoes slipped on the metal pedals. Two groups of well-trained security personnel, due to differences in tactical concepts, inadvertently exposed their target to a more dangerous situation.
Amid the chaos, Michael made a swift decision, raising his sidearm and shouting, "AAA team, attention! Prioritize escorting the target to the vehicle for evacuation! Mr. Teverdy's security team, coordinate the operation!"
This clear command was like a lighthouse piercing through the fog.
The two groups of security personnel, who had been locked in a power struggle, immediately adjusted their tactics and quickly reached a consensus. Six strong men exerted force simultaneously and lifted the Indian tycoon, whose suit was already torn to shreds and who had been pinned down on the gangway.
They formed a moving human wall in standard tactical formation, more than twenty arms intertwined to create a protective net, and escorted the still-shaken Tivedi toward the Maybach armored car. Michael ran a few steps and yanked open the heavy back door of the armored car. The bodyguards grabbed Tivedi and hurriedly shoved him into the back seat.
Just as Michael was about to close the heavy car door, a violent impact suddenly struck his right side. In an instant, half of his body lost its strength, and he stumbled and slipped while gripping the door handle, his body wedged between the car door and the ground.
The surrounding security team immediately erupted in chaos.
Some rushed into the carriage to cover Tividi, while others drew their guns and searched the surroundings. Urgent reports and cries for help rang out over the walkie-talkies:
"VIP shot! Repeat, VIP shot!"
"Customer shot! Medical support needed!"
"10-78 Emergency! Counter-sniper team, search immediately!"
"Security personnel shot! Repeat, security personnel shot! We need reinforcements!"
Michael clutched his bleeding right waist with his right hand, blood gushing from between his fingers. His left hand remained unconsciously gripping the cold car door, and he felt all his strength rapidly draining away.
The swaying scene before my eyes lost its color, leaving only a hazy, chaotic silhouette; the cacophony of shouts and alarms in my ears, like a recording that had run out of cassette tape, became distant and distorted, as if separated by a thick, transparent plastic film, making all sounds blurry and even human figures distorted and indistinguishable.
With a hint of confusion, Michael laboriously turned his head to look into the carriage.
A bodyguard was on top of Tivedi, pressing his hands firmly against the bleeding wound on Tivedi's neck. A striking crimson streak was now splattered on the cream-colored suede roof of the car.
The once luxurious interior space in the back seat, the display screen, the opposite side window, the door armrests and buttons, are now covered with mottled, chilling black and red bloodstains.
A strong stench of blood filled the air, instantly transforming the interior of the car into a terrifying scene of carnage.
Michael let out a muffled groan of resentment as darkness enveloped his world. His head slumped to one side, slamming heavily against the cold car door, and he lost consciousness completely.
-
Beta jumped to his feet and deftly picked up the spent cartridge case from the ground. The moment his fingertips touched the cold metal surface, his movements froze. The mechanical lock on the security door leading to the second floor hummed as it turned, interspersed with the beeping of the electronic lock disengaging.
He grabbed the sniper rifle from the table, dove to the side and lay prone on the ground, pointing the gun directly at the security door.
"Bang bang bang!"
A sudden burst of gunfire erupted, shattering the glass curtain wall of the meeting room, sending countless fragments raining down. In the suddenly open view, four fully armed security personnel were closing in.
Beta immediately pulled the bolt and half-squatted up from the ground.
The sniper rifle spat fire in his hand, the .408 caliber bullet tearing through the air, striking the lead security guard precisely in the chest. With a muffled thud as the bullet pierced the body, a spray of blood exploded in the air, the bullet's undiminished force continuing to shatter the glass of the rear meeting room—
