Chapter 84 Prometheus is a little panicked (Extra chapter, please read on!)

The words of the enigmatic goddess were filled with unconditional trust and worship of Zeus.

Zeus looked down at the delicate goddess in his arms, paused his mischief for a moment, and the smile on his lips became warmer and more gentle, like the spring sunshine that filled Metis's heart.

Metis paused for a moment, then said softly, "Perhaps there's another layer of meaning."

"That is, He might want to 'tarnish' your reputation and make you appear in the eyes of the gods as a narrow-minded god-king."

“If you do not accept Him, or even directly confront Him, many gods will become wary of you, and may even be disappointed in you.”

"In this way, the war may encounter more troubles and become more complicated."

Zeus nodded slightly, a playful smile returning to his lips: "It seems that this god, who is known as 'the one who has foresight,' has indeed given me a seemingly 'choice without choice.'"

"Whatever choice I ultimately make, it seems to be a beneficial arrangement for Him."

Metis shook her head, her soft purple hair brushing against Zeus's arm: "Not necessarily. As long as you give Him enough respect and don't attack Him, even if you ultimately don't accept Him, it won't have too much of a negative impact."

Zeus remained noncommittal, only asking softly, "Then, my love, do you think we should accept Him?"

Metis pondered for a moment, then said seriously, "We should accept them. We should strive to gain all the strength we can, and we should never push away the wise men of the enemy."

"Whether or not He will do His best to help us, just the fact that He will no longer help the God-King is already a huge help to us."

"Furthermore, this also shows the gods our attitude: we only want to overthrow the corrupt order and have no intention of blaming those innocent or not stubborn gods."

"We should give the gods more choices. If they choose to be loyal to you, we welcome it; if they choose to remain neutral, we respect that."

"Only those stubborn and corrupt gods who are firmly loyal to the God-King will face our most severe blows."

“King Cronus never gave the gods a true choice. The gods all knew that, apart from being loyal to Him, remaining neutral was tantamount to betrayal. Given this, they would naturally be more inclined to side with us.”

"Furthermore, even the most loyal families to the God-King have deities coming to join us, doesn't that further prove that we will surely win the final victory?"

Zeus suddenly kissed Metis's pretty face, nodded, and smiled:
"My love, how radiant you are! You possess boundless beauty and wisdom, you make my heart so tender and gentle, you make my mind wise and bright. With you by my side, the final victory is already destined, there is no doubt about it."

“My love, we are truly of one mind; your thoughts are exactly the same as mine.”

Never underestimate the power of language, especially sweet talk.

After showering Zeus with sweet words every day, he continued, "Fathers and children are not necessarily the same. Since a god is willing to come and pledge allegiance to me, how can I turn him away?" "How can the heart of a god-king be so narrow? The heart of a god-king should be as vast as this boundless universe!"

Zeus looked up, his gaze piercing through the high dome of the temple to the endless sky, and smiled, saying, "All the gods in the universe, as long as they are willing to follow the order of light, I, Zeus, will accept them."

Nestled in her lover's broad, warm embrace, Metis tilted her fair head slightly upward, gazing intently at Zeus.

Her beautiful eyes were now brimming with autumn water, clear and deep, as if they could drown all starlight; she was practically mesmerized.

Zeus lowered his head again and gently kissed the lips of the bright-eyed goddess.

This allowed the goddess of wisdom to once again experience a wondrous and unfamiliar sensation in her divine body that she had never felt before.

Her wisdom seemed to soar to the heavens in an instant, drifting aimlessly in the vast galaxy, unable to return to her body, leaving only pure and ultimate happiness and joy.

Zeus savored the sweetness of wisdom, a taste a hundred times sweeter than the finest and most delicious divine wine in the universe, making him unable to resist intoxicating himself with it.

After gently separating, while her mind was still not fully clear, this seemingly heartless yet charming deity whispered sweet nothings in her ear: "My love, having you is my eternal fortune. Our hearts are connected. How I wish you could see how passionately I love you in the depths of my heart."

"How I wish my heart would always be filled with the brilliance of your wisdom, my love. Please accept my humble and sincere love, and please never leave my side."

At this moment, even the goddess of wisdom, whose divinity was originally sublime and calm, was feeling dizzy and disoriented.

Her golden eyes were filled with infatuation and longing, fixed intently on her lover's face.

With trembling hands, she gently and tenderly stroked Zeus's handsome, sculpted face, her voice filled with uncontrollable affection: "My love, great and illustrious Zeus, my lord, my love for you is as deep as your love for me."

"Forever and ever, I will be by your side, no matter what lies ahead."

"My love, Metis, I swear to you that you are my love, my lord, my father, my everything. I will be forever loyal to you and will never betray you!"

This seemingly cold-hearted god, who was also incredibly affectionate at times, was truly moved at this moment.

He held tightly to the goddess of wisdom in his arms, who was clouded and confused by passion, quietly enjoying the infinite warmth and tenderness, and the love that Metis was completely captivated by at this moment.

After a long while, until Metis's divinity finally returned to clarity from that extreme bliss, she got up and brought Prometheus, who had been waiting anxiously, before Zeus.

The prescient Prometheus is now actually starting to panic.
