Briareus (/Βριρεω; roughly meaning: strong, robust) possesses boundless power within its body.

Cottus (roughly meaning: resentment, anger) was born with a hidden hatred for the Father. Gyes (roughly meaning: land, huge, extended limbs, center of power) is the embodiment of the earth's power.

These three Hecatonches were indeed pure material gods.
