Zeus's easy and triumphant words echoed across the mountain, but Metis remained silent with his head bowed.

Even her long, flowing hair, which was as beautiful as a purple galaxy, had lost its former radiance and hung dull and lifeless over her shoulders.

Zeus suddenly let out a contemptuous sneer, his voice like the sharpest icicle in winter, instantly piercing the silent world.

The smile on His face vanished in an instant, replaced by extreme coldness and anger. He suddenly grabbed Metis's delicate, jade-like wrist with such force that it was almost brutal, causing Metis to let out a low cry of pain.

"What?!" Zeus's voice suddenly rose, booming like thunder!
His golden eyes burned with fierce anger as he stared intently into Metis's eyes and demanded, "Daughter of Oceanus! In your heart, am I such a despicable god?"

His voice was like rolling thunder, filled with suppressed anger and the majesty of a god-king.

"A despicable god who would stop at nothing to achieve victory and sacrifice even his beloved?!"

He suddenly increased the pressure on his hand, causing Metis's fragile wrist even more pain. "Hmm?! Is that so?! Answer me!"

"Am I, in your heart, a god who sacrifices his beloved for victory?"

"Tell me! Why do you have such thoughts?!"

Tell me! Why are you humiliating me like this?!

"Tell me! Why don't you believe me at all?!"

"Tell me! Why are you so cruel as to hurt the heart of a god who loves you so deeply?!"

Zeus's voice grew increasingly impassioned and furious: "Why do you think that Coeus and his wife would choose to help the King of the Gods without consulting me at all?!"

"I will crush all their glory without hesitation! I will utterly annihilate them! I will cast them into the deepest, eternal darkness of Tartarus!"

"I will ensure they never see any light again! I will ensure they never experience even the slightest bit of beauty in this world again in eternity!"

Zeus's golden eyes, burning with rage, were fixed on Metis's bright, tear-filled eyes, his voice filled with utter anguish and accusation: "Metis! My love! Don't you truly know my heart?!"

"If you knew, then why did you hurt me like this?! Why did you humiliate me like this?!"

"Does humiliating a god who loves you so much bring you pleasure? Does it satisfy your proud, divine wisdom?"

His voice trembled slightly, hoarse, a result of the pain caused by his lover's "betrayal".

"If so, great! Then I'm telling you, you've succeeded!"

"You have successfully humiliated me, you have successfully hurt me!"
