Greece: I am Zeus!

Chapter 62 The Laws

Chapter 62 The Laws (Part 1) (Seeking monthly votes at the beginning of the month~)

Compared to the four primordial gods, Uranus, the Father of Gods, was slightly less powerful, but no god dared to speak loudly to him.

Some rules allow you to do whatever you want.

Even without considering the laws themselves, the three elements of divinity, divine power, and divine body are not necessarily of the same level of strength.

In actual combat, the situation is ever-changing, and the final outcome depends on the performance of overall strength.

As for the rules, those are even more complex and can only be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.

Broadly speaking, rules can be divided into five main types:
"Primordial and fundamental laws" refer to the most basic and original laws of the universe, such as matter, nothingness, darkness, night, and desire. These are the most fundamental existences that constitute the universe.

"Creational Origin Type" refers to laws closely linked to the formation and evolution of the universe, such as thunder, light, the cosmos, the sky, earth, fire, water, and air, reproduction and birth, and creation. They are indispensable forces for the existence, evolution, and growth of the universe.

"Supreme Power Type" refers to higher-order laws that transcend specific matter and influence the operation of the universe, such as death, fate, order, and wisdom. These are the macroscopic rules governing the operation of the universe.

"The divine power type" encompasses important areas such as forging, agriculture, oceanography, earthquakes, and warfare. These are vital forces that support the development of life and influence its existence.

"Concrete domain type" refers to laws directly related to specific phenomena or elements, as well as concepts derived from the existence of life, such as strong winds, tsunamis, dusk, art, music, and poetry. They are the rules behind phenomena in the universe and concepts related to the development and evolution of life.

These are just types, not ranked in any particular order. The specific hierarchy of rules should be viewed and analyzed on a case-by-case basis.

Although some laws may have hierarchical distinctions and subordinate relationships, they do not absolutely determine the strength or weakness of a battle.

The hierarchical relationships among many composite powers are even more ambiguous and difficult to define clearly.

In the struggle between simple laws, whether they are mutually reinforcing or mutually restraining, or subordinate to each other, the real battle still depends on the strength of the divinity and divine power of the deities themselves.

Even in the face of certain completely unrelated laws, the laws themselves alone cannot have any effect on the other party.

Just as dusk and a raging wind cannot influence each other, painting and music are equally evenly matched.

However, under normal circumstances, the closer a law is to the origin, the stronger its divinity and divine power.

As the universe continues to improve and its laws become increasingly complex, the duties and authority of deities will also become more complex and interconnected; this is an inevitable trend in the evolution of the universe.

Many deities are thus able to wield multiple laws and become gods of composite laws, whose power becomes more powerful and diverse. This makes the classification of ranks increasingly difficult, and the outcome of battles increasingly unpredictable.

Furthermore, since the same god can possess multiple laws, it can become a god of composite laws.

Therefore, the same law can also be shared by the gods, and this sharing can be divided into two situations.

The first type is that the law is shared by the Lord, meaning that the law has an independent divine self.

In this situation, the God of Laws may choose to share or bestow some of his authority upon other deities.

However, this God of Laws always has absolute control and can revoke the shared authority at any time, or impose various restrictions on the sharer.

This can be understood as the homeowner sharing the house with others, but still retaining absolute control.

The second type is the sharing of laws without divinity. These laws are pure laws that have not yet formed an independent divine self. Once grasped by another god, they are difficult to form a self again. This type of law can be shared by multiple gods, and its ultimate power depends entirely on the depth of the gods' understanding of the law, the subtlety of their application, and the strength of their divinity and divine power.

This is now an abandoned park; whoever gets the best spot is entirely up to them.

Many of the ocean gods were granted authority by Oceanus, or shared some authority over the laws of the water system; only a few had independent laws.

In principle, anyone who possesses the authority over laws can have some influence on the existence of the universe.

However, the closer the opponent's laws are to the origin, the more vast their divinity, or the stronger their divine power and body, the more difficult it is to exert influence on them. Even if it can have an effect, the result is often unsatisfactory.

If it directly affects the application of the law itself, it mainly depends on the nature of the law and its divinity.

Specifically, the application of the laws and the effects they produce depend primarily on divinity and divine power.

Some laws may not be so close to the origin of the universe, but if they are in the hands of different gods, they can still affect the entire universe by virtue of their powerful divinity and divine power.

However, if the opponent is powerful enough to "sever" its connection with the universe, then the influence of any law will be ineffective.

However, this is very difficult; apart from the two god-kings, none of the other gods could do it.

However, the two god-kings could not sever their connection with the world forever, as they still needed to live within it.

In other words, even a god-king could fall victim to a scheme if someone is intentionally plotting against him.

However, by the time the God-King realized what was happening, the consequences were dire.
In any case, even gods cannot withstand it.

Furthermore, the laws are becoming more refined. As the laws of the universe become more and more perfect, the many fundamental laws will inevitably become more and more comprehensive and complex as they are constantly evolving and subdivided.

In principle, any law that possesses its own divinity is the absolute master of the laws it governs.

However, many laws are often intertwined and interconnected, making it almost impossible for them to exist independently of the whole.

Many laws are derived from a more fundamental and grander concept, like the branches that divide a giant tree.

Therefore, if there is a strong correlation between one law and another, and the former happens to fall within the broader scope of the latter's legal authority, then it will inevitably be influenced or controlled by the latter.

The strength of this influence and the degree of control depend on the strength of the connection and the breadth and depth of the other party's authority.

For example, the law of towering mountains is absolutely subordinate to the law of the vast and boundless earth.

Although the mountain range has completely mastered its own laws and possesses independent divinity and will, it is still indirectly governed by the unquestionable and vast authority of the earth.

However, this domination is not absolute control. The divinity of the mountains still has its own nature, and the earth can only indirectly manipulate and influence the mountains through the broader concept of the earth.

If the mountains simply refuse to cooperate, then the earth can only rely on its supreme authority, using its immense divinity and vast divine power to forcibly suppress and control them. However, in this situation, the earth's manipulation of them will be much less effective, with huge energy consumption and minimal results.
