Chapter 32 Journey Through Ocean Currents

Zeus spotted Metis immediately. She was following behind the two Titans, wearing a unique golden crown on her head, which made her particularly eye-catching.

Oceanus, the leader of the Titans, is an immense ocean current that encircles the world; his body is as vast as the ocean itself.

After saying this, He nodded to Rhea in respect: "Great Queen Goddess, welcome! The ocean has been waiting for your arrival for far too long. We eagerly await your coming. The ocean is immensely honored by your presence."

Rhea nodded in acknowledgment and smiled, saying, "My brother, thank you for your continued support and protection."

Tethys stepped forward and embraced Rhea, linking her arm with hers and laughing, "Today is truly a day to celebrate; this is the reunion we've been waiting for!"

"Hmm~ There's also something that pleases the gods. Let's go home and celebrate later!" Her voice was gentle and full of joy. The goddess who nourishes all things makes any god feel warm and close.

The gods returned to the Oceanus Temple together, surrounded by many Oceanus gods.

After entering the temple, Oceanus dismissed all the children except Metis.

Now, only the five gods remain in the temple, and the atmosphere silently shifts from noisy and relaxed to solemn.

Oceanus smiled; Zeus's attitude made him both satisfied and at ease.

He continued, “Honorable Zeus, I know why you have come, but I still have some doubts in my heart that I would like you to resolve.”

Zeus nodded and smiled: "Please speak."

Oceanus solemnly asked, "What is your ultimate goal? Do you wish to completely overthrow the rule of the King of the Gods and establish a new era, or do you merely wish to protect yourself and end here?" The ocean current's sharp and majestic gaze stared directly at Zeus; He needed a clear answer.

Zeus gently shook his head and said, "The world is in terrible order now. All the gods are tightly bound and unable to enjoy the beauty of the world. What I want is to build a completely new order, a universe that all the gods can share, a most wonderful new era!"

Zeus's tone was extremely firm: "I will not stop until I achieve this goal!"

Oceanus asked, "Do you have confidence and a plan on how to defeat the King of Gods? Although I don't want to admit it, I have to admit that the King of Gods is the most powerful and unshakeable being among the gods."

Zeus smiled confidently, completely at ease: "Great son of Uranus, I am just like you were before. How could I rebel against the King of the Gods without sufficient confidence and a definite plan?"

"I may not possess the captivating wisdom of your daughter, but I am not so foolish either, am I?" Zeus made a witty remark to ease the overly heavy atmosphere, while also subtly giving Metis a look that no one could hide.

His smile turned serious as he continued, “I have weakened the God-King’s power too much. He is no longer the high and mighty, invincible king he once was.”

"At the same time, I rescued my compatriots and received the help of many united comrades. With this, the God King is no longer invincible."

"Furthermore, I have already gained the approval of the great Mother Goddess of All Things, and the support of the Lady of Night."

“My Mother Goddess, the great and holy Rhea, also stands by my side. So many gods are dissatisfied with the order of the God-King, how could I possibly fail?”

Oceanus nodded slightly and asked the most important question: how much He would invest.

"So, great Zeus, if you have truly overthrown the King of the Gods, how should the honors of the gods be distributed now?"

Zeus said earnestly, "Great and noble son of Uranus, the firstborn son of the Father, I hereby promise you that I have no intention of harming the honor of any of the noble gods!"

"I assure all the gods that I will defend the honor of all the gods, preserve all that the gods currently possess, and distribute the honors that all the great gods' offspring deserve in the new era!"

"What the gods already have, I will give them more of; what they do not have, I will bestow upon them, so that they too may enjoy the beauty of the world!"

"The gods will share the beauty of the world together, and I want to build an order in which the gods work together to share it."

"Each god has his own duties and controls his own honor, but they can also share their own advantages, cooperate with each other, and develop together."

"The sky, the earth, the sea, and the starry sky should belong to the gods, who should all enjoy the beauty of the world together, without any restrictions or oppression!"

"Together, we will establish an order that aligns with the will of the gods. If any disputes arise among the gods, then they will unite to adjudicate, ensuring fairness and impartiality through mutual consultation!"

Oceanus nodded again, and calmly asked the last crucial question:
“The noble Zeus, the son of another god-king—Poseidon, was conceived by Cronus stealing the sea and ocean, as well as the divine power of the mother goddess.”
