Chapter 22 Zeus's Divine Authority

After a long while, Metis said, "Your noble son, Queen of Gods, please state your plan."

Zeus moved closer to Metis, his expression becoming even more solemn, and said, "I need to put the King of the Gods into a complete slumber, one without any power to resist, even if it's just for a moment, that will be enough."

Metis asked, "What is your honor?"

Zeus paused for a moment, then slowly said, "Divide, everything."

Metis was deeply shaken, even her golden pupils contracted for a moment. She chuckled softly and said slowly, "What a terrifyingly great power."

"The son of the God-King and God-Queen is indeed terrifying."

"But is that all?"

This was the first time she had smiled in front of Zeus, and although it was a meaningful smile, it still stunned Zeus.

I've seen hundreds of ocean girls along the way, but never has a goddess's smile been so captivating.

This is the flawless smile of supreme wisdom.

The inexplicable smile vanished from Metis's indifferent expression, and he said coldly, "What I want is your opinion."

Zeus frowned and replied sternly, "A terrible order, son of Uranus, you are merely following the old path of the spiritual ruler."

The wise Metis then followed up with, "And you? How would you establish order in the universe?"

Zeus lowered his head in contemplation, while Metis waited quietly. After a long while, Zeus looked up and smiled in the sunlight: "Since we cannot stop it, let's embrace it actively."

“In the present world, all the gods are isolated from each other, and the world is lifeless and stagnant. I don’t like such a world.”

"I hope that all gods can connect with each other, allowing the laws to freely collide and combine, and that all gods can work together to make the world a better place. I will not allow any god to destroy this world."

Metis, with his bright eyes, listened to Zeus's words and remained silent for a long time. Suddenly, he smiled, and even his cold tone disappeared.

“My noble son of Rhea, I hope you remember everything I said today.”

Before Zeus could speak, the goddess of wisdom continued, "The queen of the gods' authority can control the king of the gods, but the king of the gods is too strong. Even if you control the king of the gods for a moment, he will not be without reaction, much less without the ability to resist."

"When the God-King becomes lax, the Queen of Gods can gradually restrict the God-King's connection with the movement of heaven and earth, thus limiting the God-King's power."

"The God-King's favorite drink is mead made by the nymph fairy, and I can make a cup of mead by mixing it with pure water of nothingness."

Metis stared blankly at the young god before him, perhaps thinking that the god-kings of long ago must have looked just like this.

Her optimistic demeanor, full of courage and confidence, possesses a convincing charm even upon first meeting.

The son of the God-King before us will succeed and become the next God-King.

A corrupt order will always be overthrown, won't it?
Zeus had somehow appeared before the mesmerized Metis, and even the beautiful goddess of wisdom's long purple hair, which flowed with the water, was almost touching Zeus.

"Then everything is in the hands of the goddess with bright eyes." Zeus's sudden words brought Metis back to her senses.

Metis was startled for a moment, then nodded as if nothing had happened, and hurriedly turned and swam into the distance, to the place where the ocean and the universe connected.

Zeus followed closely behind, and Metis, without turning his head, asked, "Son of the Queen of the Gods, what are you doing following me?"

"Many of my sisters miss you. It will take time to make the mead. You can go to them first, and I will find you."

Zeus laughed and said, "But I can't find you, so it's better to follow you."

"Oh, right, I have another question for you."

"Ok?"
