Chapter 13 New Order
After the gods redefined the cosmic order, they all materialized into physical forms.

The universe is now incredibly diverse, and only by having a physical form can we truly appreciate it.

And Nyx, the goddess of night, was once again accepted by the pantheon. The gods allowed Nyx to integrate into the rules of the universe, and she received a share of the universe's highest honor.

In name, Aether and Hemera are reborn as her children, though their lineage still belongs to the Celestials.

Cronus and the gods redefined the new rules of the universe, which all the gods were required to abide by. If anyone violated these rules, the gods would rise up in rebellion to maintain the newly established order.

Unfortunately, Cronus could not possess the absolute power to control everything like his father, Uranus.

Even though He was extremely unwilling, He had no choice but to compromise and work with the gods to carefully maintain the new and fragile cosmic order.

But as all kings do, after Cronus secured his position as king of the gods, he did not hesitate to gradually reclaim power.

He created numerous mortal and spiritual beings. As the Creator God-King, He exercised His authority over the world with all His might, making the world more colorful and earning the unanimous respect of all the gods.

Afterwards, He invited the mother goddess Gaia to build Mount Otyrus together, a sacred mountain that grew alongside heaven and earth, serving as the common home of the Titans, the center of the cosmic order, and the location of the supreme throne of the god-king.

His authority became more and more secure, his power more and more formidable, and his desire for absolute power burned ever brighter.

Then He created many elemental beings on the earth, and these beings were like gods.

They do not age, live extremely long lives, and are free from pain, disease, and toil. The earth is naturally abundant, providing ample food without the need for cultivation.

Cronus created intelligent life on a large scale for the first time, and therefore treated it with great favor; moreover, he had a plan for creating these intelligent beings.

However, He was also very careful, as these elemental beings were not very intelligent and had been deprived of most of their love and desire.

They did not fight, were kind and gentle, and faithfully believed in the gods, making them the gods' ideal subjects.

Their deaths were also peaceful, for the Titan Death Weaver Iapetus treated them very well, weaving for them a peaceful sleep, without any pain.

And after death, their spiritually concentrated souls will be blessed by the Earth Mother and the gods, becoming earth spirits.

Or they were taken by the gods to their dwelling places in the universe (different constellations, which at this time did not yet have names, but were clusters of stars in the sky).

The universe is still too empty and desolate. Advanced intelligent life is scattered throughout the universe, and it is extremely rare.

Creating life is simple, but creating higher intelligent life requires effort and is not a simple matter at all.

The gods are too lonely. Although these elemental beings are a bit less intelligent than the gods, they are still highly intelligent beings.

Moreover, they were so docile and faithfully believed in the gods, so the gods naturally wanted to treat them well.

Therefore, death is actually eternal life for them; after a good night's sleep, they can follow the gods to their divine kingdom.

This era was called the Golden Age by later mortals, and these beings were called Golden Humans, but in reality they were elemental beings.

These elemental beings are all good in every way, except that they are always caught in the crossfire.

That's naturally due to the Hundred-Handed Giant and the Cyclops, mainly the Hundred-Handed Giant.

They were too enormous and too powerful. Even as the world continued to expand, the hundred-armed giants were simply too big and too chaotic.

Their carefree frolicking is a terrible disaster for the elemental beings, like a natural calamity.

Or rather, it is a disaster for all life.

The collapse of the heavens and the splitting of the earth are the most realistic depictions of reality. The universe beyond our world is vast enough, but only within our world are the laws most perfect, and the life within our world most diverse and colorful.

The universe is too desolate and barren, devoid of beautiful life.

The countless celestial bodies outside the world were created by the Father Uranus, their essence being merely to maintain the framework of the world, serving as a barrier against Tartarus.

Only the earth is the place that the Heavenly Father loves, the true cradle of life.

Only a place where heaven and earth both exist, and where the laws of heaven and earth, along with many other laws, are perfected, can be called a true world.

The world is the true home of the gods, the place they deeply love.

The celestial bodies in the universe are merely secluded retreats where the gods can enjoy peace and quiet or take a good rest. They can be maintained casually; there is no need for elaborate construction.

Instead of wasting time on that, we should focus on making the world stronger and our home a better place.

The gods are too busy building the heavens and the earth to bother with the construction of those "quicksand" structures that crumble at the slightest touch.
This also led to the hundred-armed giants quickly incurring the wrath of the gods. It is not easy to cultivate advanced intelligent life forms, but they can be destroyed almost at will, which is a headache for the gods.

If it were just a normal death, the gods wouldn't care.

However, the destruction they caused was not a normal death, but a direct and complete annihilation by their absolute power, a power that could penetrate matter, leaving even the soul vulnerable.

This was intentional on Cronus's part, a purely calculated scheme, and it was done in tacit agreement with all the Titans.

He feared and hated the immense power of the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires.

He is the god of creation, growth, and harvest, yet the power to control clouds and rain, which is crucial to Him, is also held by other gods.

And there was even more terrifying thunder, lightning, and thunderbolts, with an incomparably terrifying power. Every time He saw it, He was reminded of his father's anger and that suppressed, terrifying memory.

Of course, He also knew that His other brothers and sisters were the same.

That terrifying thunder and lightning was a psychological shadow for all the Titans.

Cronus could not tolerate their existence in the world, and neither could the other Titans; no one wanted these giants to exist in the world.

Then there are the three hundred-armed giants. They occupy too much space, which completely hinders the expansion and integration of their power within the world.

So, using the pretext of the giants destroying the elemental beings, Cronus led many Titans and demanded that the six giants leave the world, banishing them to the vast, empty, and desolate universe.

Even the mother goddess Gaia had nothing to say about this, because she could not refute the fact that the Hundred-Handed Giants had indeed brought chaos to the world.

Faced with the decision of all the Titans, she had no choice but to comply.

After this incident, Cronus truly established his authority.

He has not only the respect and awe of the gods, but also the reverence of the gods.
