Chapter 74 Bear Hunting Achievement Completed!

Watching the black bear stagger and disappear into the forest, and seeing the exaggerated amount of blood on the snow, he knew that the battle was actually over.

“If the femoral artery is severed, it won’t go far.” His voice was incredibly firm.

Lin Yu'an gripped the bow tightly and waited warily in place for about ten minutes. Only after confirming that the black bear had not returned did he begin his tracking, following the obvious trail of blood.

The bloodstains on the snow were horrifying, winding their way into the depths of the forest like a red river.

Lin Yu'an remained highly vigilant, keeping the bear spray in his hand ready to fire, and followed step by step.

He tracked it for less than two hundred meters before finding the black bear near a snow-covered depression.

It lay quietly on its side in the snow, its massive body surrounded by snow completely soaked with gushing blood, forming a chilling deep red area.

Lin Yu'an stared at it for another ten minutes, confirming that it had completely lost its life force.

Only at this moment did Lin Yu'an finally relax his tense nerves!

Looking at the enormous, motionless creature beneath my feet, I felt as if something within me was awakening.

He slowly straightened up, looking around at the snow-covered ground stained with blood, and at the camera silently recording everything on his chest.

He won.

He emerged victorious in this direct confrontation with the powerful predators of Grizzly Mountain.

Unable to contain his excitement any longer, he suddenly raised his hunting bow and let out a powerful roar towards the azure sky!

"Fu*k! Guys! I did it! I hunted down a fully grown American black bear all by myself!"

His voice echoed through the silent snow-covered forest, filled with the pride of a conqueror and absolute confidence in his abilities.

Lin Yu'an's state of mind also underwent a transformation at this moment!

After more than seventy days of training, he became a true hunter at this moment!

He even became completely fascinated by the feeling of wilderness life! Finding food and battling the power of nature!
He walked over to the huge black bear and touched its still-warm, thick, glossy black fur.

This is a robust adult male bear; he estimated its weight to be at least 100 kilograms, with a meat yield of over 100 kilograms.

"Now I can definitely pop the champagne! Would it be an exaggeration to say that I've already won the championship?"

After a brief moment of excitement, Lin Yu'an quickly calmed down.

Before the bear carcass freezes solid, the enormous body must be processed as soon as possible, which is undoubtedly another extremely large undertaking.

He first pulled the two arrows with three-edged hunting arrowheads, along with several ordinary arrows, from the black bear's carcass.

Despite the fierce battle, the two triple-bladed hunting arrows remained intact and were put back into the quiver. The shafts of two regular arrows had broken, so only the arrowheads remained, and the shafts were discarded.

Lin Yu'an began the initial analysis.

Faced with such a huge animal, his multi-tool seemed somewhat inadequate.

He remembered that the items provided by the production team included small razor blades, which would be perfect for skinning bears.

First, use the sharp blade of a multi-tool to locate the midline on the soft skin of the black bear's belly.

Then, use a small blade to carefully cut away the fat at the junction of the skin and meat.

Black bears have very tough skin and an exceptionally thick layer of fat beneath it, so it takes considerable strength to cut the blade bit by bit.

Once the outer barrier of the entire abdominal cavity was cut open, he began the most strenuous work of disemboweling.

“Bears are omnivores with a very complex diet, and their intestines may contain a large number of bacteria.”

"And it may also carry parasites that are deadly to humans, such as trichinella."

"Therefore, all bear meat must, must, must be thoroughly cooked before consumption, at a temperature of 71°C or higher, to kill any insect eggs that may be present."

He carefully cut the mesentery connecting the intestines with a knife, then used both hands.

It took a great deal of effort to pull the huge and heavy stomach and the tangled intestinal system out of the abdominal cavity intact.

After the intestines were processed, the abdominal cavity felt much cleaner.

Lin Yu'an probed into the warm abdominal cavity and began to remove the precious edible internal organs from the "red goods".

He first located the huge, dark red liver.

Then, he very carefully located the dark green gallbladder attached to the liver.

"Guys, this is bear bile. It is believed to have medicinal value, but in Canada, especially in British Columbia, the law is extremely strict about it."

As Lin Yu'an spoke, he used the tip of a knife to completely peel off the entire gallbladder.

"Under BC hunting regulations, it is strictly forbidden to possess, sell, or transport a bear's gallbladder after it has been killed."

"This is to combat the illegal bear bile trade and protect bear populations. According to regulations, bear bile must be buried on-site after hunting bears."

Without hesitation, he simply dug a small hole to bury it and made sure the camera recorded the process.

But he used a two-meter spatial range to store it, quietly putting it back into the space.
