Chapter 9: The Awakening of the Suck-Up Girlfriend, the Backstabbing Best Friend! (Please continue reading)

Upon hearing Song Yubi's words, a barely perceptible hint of annoyance flashed in Chen Hongfei's eyes outside the door.

But on the surface, he still maintained a smiling expression.

Song Yubi felt that Chen Hongfei seemed to be using more force, as if he was about to crush her bones.

She looked at Chen Hongfei and found that his eyes were bloodshot, as if he had gone mad.

"Song Yubi, you slut!"

"And every week I see you going into a hotel with a different man!"

"You killed someone! You criminal, let me go right now, or I'll call the police!"

Her words, which she thought made perfect sense, only provoked Chen Hongfei once again. "Open the door now, or I'll kill you too when I break in!"

Song Yubi was terrified.

She didn't know where the power came from; perhaps extreme fear caused her to erupt. She shoved her head out and bit Chen Hongfei's hand hard.

Immediately, blood flowed out.

Feeling intense pain, Chen Hongfei screamed and instinctively released his grip.

Song Yubi quickly grabbed her bag and shrank inside the door, then slammed it shut.

The next moment, Chen Hongfei's curses and the sound of banging on the door came from outside.

"Open the door! Open the door! You bitch, you dare bite me! I'll kill you!"

Song Yubi pushed the dining table to the doorway, blocking it, then grabbed her bag and hid in the bedroom, curling up on the bed, trembling.

After a while, she quickly took out her power bank, charged her phone, and then sent a message to Yu Zihan.

Upon receiving the message, Yu Zihan reacted in just one second before immediately grabbing her phone and rushing to Lu Zheng's side.

"Honey, Song Yubi sent me a message."

She knew there was a conflict between Lu Zheng and Song Yubi. If he found out that she was still seeing Song Yubi behind his back, he would definitely have unpleasant thoughts.

She can refrain from betraying her friends, but only if she doesn't harm herself.

Lu Zheng looked at Yu Zihan's chat interface.

Immediately after the first message was sent, Song Yubi sent another photo.

It contains instant noodles and bottled water.

"Zihan, I managed to get the food and water he brought me. Come back now, we have food and drink."

Lu Zheng chuckled and said to Yu Zihan:

"It seems she cares about you quite a bit and wants to share the supplies with you."

Yu Zihan, however, pointed out Song Yubi's true purpose in a very insightful way.

"She's afraid of Chen Hongfei and wants me to go and draw his anger. She's not the kind of person who's willing to share supplies with me."

She saw through her best friend perfectly.

I knew she didn't have any good intentions.

So she looked at Lu Zheng and asked:

"Honey, can I take a picture of the roast duck?"

Lu Zheng nodded, then waved his hand, and another brand-new roast duck, steaming hot, appeared on the table.

"Thanks husband!"

Yu Zihan immediately took a picture and sent it to Song Yubi.

"Yu Bi, why don't you come find me? I have roast duck here!"

When Song Yubi saw the picture of the roast duck, she first swallowed hard, then expressed disbelief.

"Impossible! There's no electricity now, who's going to make you roast duck? It looks like it just came out of the oven."

"Zihan, you probably can't even afford instant noodles, right?"

"Is it really necessary to try and fool me with a picture from the internet?"

But the next second, Yu Zihan sent her a video, which showed Yu Zihan eating a duck leg.

After taking a bite, Yu Zihan turned the camera around, revealing the face of the man next to her.

She nestled in Lu Zheng's arms and said happily:

"Thank you, honey, for treating me to roast duck!"

The video ends here.

Song Yubi was struck dumb after watching the entire video.

Then, she broke down.

I picked up my phone and sent a long voice message.

"Yu Zihan! You slut! You betrayed our friendship! You went to see that good-for-nothing Lu Zheng! You ate roast duck behind my back! I don't want a best friend like you anymore!"

After venting her anger, Song Yubi suddenly heard a loud bang.

She quickly mustered her courage and went to the door to check through the peephole.

It doesn't matter if you don't look at it, you will be shocked when you look at it.

Chen Hongfei, his face contorted in rage, was seen wielding a fire axe and hacking at the door lock with all his might!
