I, a cultivator, have ended up in the wizarding world.
Chapter 27 Review
Chapter 27 Review (Part 2)
The somewhat bald wizard spoke slowly, his voice carrying a hint of depth:
“I also examined his fate… It was very clean. Within the traceable timeframe, there was no trace of any connection with any unknown powerful entity.”
Upon hearing his words, the other wizards couldn't help but cast envious glances at him.
Both time-related and fate-related witchcraft are exceptionally complex, requiring at least a level six wizard to perform the tests, which are more in-depth and difficult to fake than the previous two types.
Even though everyone present was a genius capable of reaching the fifth level of wizardry, there were still differences between geniuses.
It was obvious that this bald wizard was the most talented person present.
"What about the dean?" a voice asked the last crucial question.
After several rounds of review, we can theoretically confirm Jieming's situation, but just in case, we still need to conduct the highest level of certification.
The so-called highest level of confirmation often requires touching upon the very origin of the plane.
Only the dean who actually controls the entire plane can do this.
In the void, a message transmitted directly by powerful spiritual force, devoid of any emotional fluctuation, directly answered the question:
[The original data of this plane has been examined. No trace of intrusion by any advanced extraterrestrial life or high-level energy has been found within the last century.]
Upon hearing this confirmation from the highest level, the wizards present all nodded.
The bald wizard then concluded: "Therefore, it can be basically confirmed that this apprentice is neither a spy from another civilization, nor a pawn remotely controlled by an unknown powerful being. Unless the being he contacted is a wizard of a level higher than nine..."
Before the bald wizard could react, some of the other wizards couldn't help but laugh.
A ninth-level wizard is a legendary being, the chairman who rules over the entire wizarding civilization, a power standing at the top of countless planes.
For some reason, theoretically, the power of a level nine wizard is infinite.
If there truly is a powerful being beyond this understanding who condescends to manipulate an apprentice, then even if they discover the slightest clues, they must pretend not to see them, and even cater to the other party's perverse tastes by playing house together.
Unfortunately, based on current theories, it is almost impossible for anyone to surpass a level nine wizard.
Therefore, it can be basically concluded that Jemin is not a spy or a traitor.
However, at that moment, a voice broke the relatively calm conclusion.
"I've heard that this material has very special properties, and even the wizards from the Crimson Court have been alarmed, wanting to spend a lot of resources to buy it..."
Although not explicitly stated, the barely suppressed greed in the speaker's tone revealed his thoughts.
Upon hearing this, the atmosphere in the sealed room instantly plummeted to freezing point.
Mentor Clark—the wizard whose back looked somewhat bald—slowly turned around.
Although his face was still hidden in shadow, his gaze pierced through the robe, like two cold, sharp swords aimed at the speaking wizard.
His voice, no longer a deep inquiry, carried an undisguised mockery:
"Forcibly demanding the knowledge of a wizard who is neither a spy nor a traitor?"
He spoke slowly, each word like a block of ice striking the ground: "You want to openly violate the covenant established by the Star Orbit Arbitration Court? If you're not afraid of being locked down by the [Dimensional Reduction Judgment] of those nine Speakers, then... go ahead." The wizard who made the suggestion froze, as if doused with a bucket of cold water, his anger instantly extinguished.
The Star Orbit Arbitration Court is a supreme oversight body comprised of nine level-nine wizards.
Legend has it that they possess terrifying authority to alter reality, and coupled with the immense power inherent in a level nine wizard, they are arguably the true rulers of the entire wizarding civilization.
The original purpose of establishing the Arbitration Tribunal, in addition to balancing the power of various factions within the wizarding civilization, was more importantly to protect the wizards' right to possess and research their own knowledge.
Because the ninth-level wizards in the arbitration tribunal viewed both eighth-level wizards and wizarding apprentices as ants that could be crushed with a single hand, they were able to conduct the most impartial oversight.
It is precisely because of the existence of the Arbitration Tribunal that high-ranking wizards cannot arbitrarily deprive low-ranking wizards of their research results or forcibly acquire their core knowledge.
This fair oversight is the cornerstone of the wizarding world's ability to continuously generate new knowledge and maintain its vitality.
This is also the fundamental reason why the entire wizarding world has been able to continuously develop and even conquer multiple dimensions.
Many of the wizards present had themselves enjoyed the protection of the convention proposed by the tribunal during their apprenticeship or early stages, and they were well aware of the consequences of crossing this red line.
A voice, laced with obvious sarcasm, broke the silence: "Don't act like you've discovered some earth-shattering secret. The material is indeed somewhat special, but it's only at the level of a level five material, right? It's just that it has high resistance to corrosion; its physical and energy resistance is so poor."
As he spoke, his tone shifted, revealing a hint of pride that only his peers could understand: "Which one of you here wasn't a genius back in the day? What's so special about making level five materials? Besides, don't we at Norren Academy have a super genius who made level six materials during his apprenticeship?"
Upon hearing this, all the wizards involuntarily turned their gazes toward the somewhat bald mentor, Clark, their eyes filled with a complex mix of awe, curiosity, and a hint of hidden apprehension.
Professor Clark remained remarkably calm in the face of these gazes, his face hidden in the shadows still expressionless.
He looked at the image of Jemin on the screen, his tone returning to its initial calm and objective.
"Now that we have confirmed that this apprentice is a genius and has demonstrated adequate crisis management skills, able to make calm judgments and act decisively, he has shown potential worthy of cultivation."
He paused for a moment, then said, "Then I propose initiating a secondary training agreement for the apprentice."
The Level 2 training agreement means that the academy will invest more resources to provide better mentorship, a higher quality training environment, and priority resource allocation to accelerate its growth.
The other wizards had no objections.
With the threat eliminated and the benefits ungrabbable, all that remains is a genius worth investing in.
From the very beginning, the reason they gathered here was not because of any random material, but simply to determine whether this person had investment value.
A silent vote was held among the wizards.
The results came out quickly: the proposal passed by an overwhelming majority, even the wizard who had previously coveted Jemin's work voted in favor.
"The agreement is activated. Notify the relevant departments and mobilize resources," Clark's mentor announced finally.
The light curtain slowly dimmed, plunging the secret chamber into darkness, and the figures of the wizards gradually disappeared.
