One Piece: Groudon the Beasts

Chapter 307 Fujitora Joins the Fellowship

Chapter 307 Fujitora Joins the Fellowship
The Grand Line, the Devil's Triangle.

Sea fog blanketed the area, plunging it into darkness.

Groudon advanced through the fog and quickly shook off the pursuing warships. Although the surrounding environment was not very beautiful, it was at least safe.

"Smoker really should experience the dense fog here."

Goode gazed at the thick fog and sighed.

The current unusual environment is very likely due to the awakening of the Smoke-Smoke Fruit.

Developing a Devil Fruit to its fullest potential, especially during its awakening stage, can permanently alter the environment. For example, Raijin Island in the New World is constantly struck by endless lightning.

Even some Paramecia-type characters can do it.

In the New World, there is an uninhabited island that floats upside down in the sky. The direction of gravity is opposite, and passing ships are sucked onto the island. Perhaps this is due to the awakening of the Gravity Fruit.

If Smoker were a bit more clever and developed skills in areas like silent killing, creating clones, or deception, he would definitely have more potential than the Smoker who gets beaten up.

Unfortunately, everyone there is just a reckless fool.

Good looked at Fujitora.

"Long time no see, Brother Yixiao."

"General Goode."

Fujitora was in a bad mood.

If he could, he wouldn't want to bear the stigma of a traitor, nor would he want to leave the Navy, but he couldn't bear to stand idly by in that situation.

He didn't know how effective his actions were, but at least they allowed some civilians to escape the battlefield in time.

Even saving just one more person is a good thing.

Goode scrutinized Fujitora.

He came to the Kingdom of Lulusia to recruit the revolutionary army, but he never expected it to turn out like this.

The Revolutionary Army is nowhere to be found, but Fujitora has boarded his ship.

"You really intend to join us?"

"I agree with Hoenn's philosophy: justice should not serve the powerful; justice exists to protect the people."

Fujitora answered slowly.

The Knights of God's trampling on life made him completely disillusioned with the World Government, but he had been keeping an eye on the Hoenn government.

Unfortunately, he was blind, and his understanding of Hoenn was basically based on hearsay, much of which was defamatory.

Even so, he was still able to extract useful information from it.

Aokiji, Smoker, Dol.
The fact that renowned generals have joined Hoenn speaks volumes about some of the navy's underlying problems.

Furthermore, he sensed a fear of Hoenn in many of the officers and generals at headquarters, an emotion that was not expected of a marine.

What could possibly cause a righteous organization to fear another organization of the same nature, and even go to great lengths to slander it?

He had found the answer in his heart.

Fujitora hesitated for a moment, then awkwardly requested, "Commander-in-Chief Goode, please allow me to be shameless this once, I wish to become an admiral in the Hoenn Navy."

"no problem."

Goode smiled and nodded in agreement.

His place is small, so the pay should be higher.

"What else do you want?"

"Is this it?"

Fujitora took a deep breath: "I joined the Navy with the hope of achieving something. I want to abolish the Seven Warlords of the Sea system!"

"This doesn't seem too difficult."

Goode pondered for a moment.

Before he set off, the Cross Guild was about to start a war, and judging by the time, it was probably already over.

With four former Shichibukai (warlords of the sea) in charge, even if the Cross Guild is no match for the Navy, escaping shouldn't be a big problem.

The easiest way to abolish the Seven Warlords of the Sea system is to eliminate them. Given the World Government's efficiency, the rate of replacement can't keep up with the rate of death. In fact, only four of the Seven Warlords remain, one of whom is Kuma, who guards the Straw Hat crew's ship and disobeys orders.

If one or two more were to disappear, the Seven Warlords of the Sea would become a laughing stock in the industry and lose their reason for existence.

Goode spoke with a smile.

"From now on, you will be the Admiral of Hoenn. You will not need to abide by the policies of the World Government. If you don't like any of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, you can either beat them up or capture them!"

"."

Fujitora looked stunned, then burst out laughing.

That's a really simple and crude method!
Coincidentally, with the remaining Shichibukai in power, he did indeed have an evil target he wanted to capture!
Don Quixote Doflamingo!
Fujitora's face darkened.

"Commander Goode, as far as I know, Doflamingo, the 'Heavenly Demon,' has close ties with the Beasts. If I were to capture him, would you stop me?"

"will not."

Goode smiled and crossed his legs.

"The Hoenn and Beasts are now two completely different organizations with opposing ideologies. I will not interfere unless it is an all-out war."

"If you want to capture Doflamingo, all you need is Aokiji's permission. He is the Fleet Admiral of the Hoenn Marines, and you are under his jurisdiction."

"As for Doflamingo, if you kill him, he can only blame his own weakness and has no one else to blame!"

"One more thing, the Beasts probably won't stand idly by. They might send someone to take back Doflamingo. You'd better decide what to do."

Small-scale skirmishes between the two major powers may result in significant financial losses, especially in ships, but they can also help each other train their troops, weed out those who try to take advantage of the situation, and cultivate stronger individuals.

With the World Government as a common enemy, the two sides are unlikely to have a major conflict. Besides, one side is based in the North Sea, while the other is in the New World, so there is not much friction between them to begin with.

"Then I can rest assured!"

Fujitora smiled.

His biggest worry was Goode, who was not only the commander-in-chief of Hoenn, but also had influence in the Beasts Pirates second only to Kaido.

He also knew that Hoenn and the Beasts were brothers, and that it was not yet time to separate them in the face of the powerful World Government.

If Goode does not allow it, his actions will be severely restricted.

Goode invited him with a smile.

"Brother Yixiao, I remember that Moonlight Moria's territory is in this area. Would you be interested in taking a look around?"

"Moriah?"

Fujitora thought for a moment and nodded.

He knew very little about Moria. Moria was too low-key. After being defeated by Kaido twenty years ago, he basically didn't cause any big commotion. Every time he appeared, it was because of the World Government's summons.

Legend has it that Gecko Moria's ship is located in the Devil's Triangle.

Based on his judgment, Moria should not be a dangerous figure like Crocodile or Doflamingo.

Furthermore, sailing through this eerie, foggy sea, it would be a miracle if you didn't get lost; finding Moria's ship would probably be quite difficult.

"Commander Goode, can you find Moria's ship?"

"I have my own way!"

Goode raised a confident smile.

Just as he was about to show off his skills, Chikara trotted over and whispered in his ear, "Lord Goode, Junzi is awake."

"Okay, I'll be there right away."

Goode stood up.

"Brother Yixiao, I have some things to take care of here, let's talk later."

"Ah."

Fujitora nodded in understanding.

He knew very well why Goode had left.

That woman from the Knights of God is on this ship right now!
