Chapter 3 Good intentions lead to bad things

Lin Ge rushed into the room and found it to be a very narrow single room.

Behind the door, against the corner of the wall, was a dirty dining table, with many half-eaten and half-eaten fast food containers scattered haphazardly on it.

Several garbage bags were carelessly tossed under the table, emitting a strong, foul stench.

Walking past the dining table, you'll find a wooden single bed. The bed is covered in dirty bedding whose original color is indistinguishable, and some clothes are piled haphazardly in the corner, most likely unwashed.

To Huang Mao's astonishment, Nie Guoqiang pulled out handcuffs and cuffed Huang Mao to the bed leg.

Coughing, Nie Guoqiang walked over and closed the door, shutting everyone out. Then he sighed and said to Lin Ge, "Stupid Mimi, are you out of your mind? The nature of the case has changed. Who can guarantee that the people outside don't have this blond-haired accomplice? If you, the culprit, go out, aren't you afraid of becoming the center of a fight?"

As he spoke, Nie Guoqiang secretly observed Huang Mao's expression. Seeing Huang Mao's eyes darting around, he immediately understood what was going on.

There was no point in blaming the cat now that things had come to this. Nie Guoqiang took out his phone to call for backup and ordered the logistics department to contact the community and the landlord of the building immediately.

Lingo flicked its tail and lazily licked its front paws.

A short while later, the ambulance arrived.

The stretcher couldn't pass through the narrow stairwell, so Nie Guoqiang wrapped the still unconscious little girl in a blanket, picked her up, and then looked at Lin Ge.
