Chapter 30 Ian and His Backup Plan
Chapter 30 Ian and His Backup Plan
Ian, furious, spoke loudly.
His questioning of Madison immediately drew the attention of his classmates. The whispers in the classroom ceased abruptly. More than thirty pairs of eyes, filled with astonishment, turned to Ian.
"what?"
Madison's hand was still suspended in mid-air, in the same position she had used to push Ian. She slowly withdrew her hand, her expression puzzled, clearly not understanding why Ian had reacted so strongly.
"Yo~"
Whistling came from the back of the classroom, coming from the most mischievous student in the class. Soon after, several other students joined in the commotion, as if they thought there was some love-hate relationship between Ian and Madison.
Everyone crowded around, eager to see what was going on.
"No, no, no, there's no story between me and this guy that you can laugh about. This guy's just gone crazy. I don't even know why he's reacting so strongly!"
Madison rolled his eyes at everyone.
She's an expert at rolling her eyes.
"A young man's blush is better than any sophistry." Someone spoke in a high-pitched voice from the crowd. It was a classmate who liked to play pranks. The onlookers' eyes began to look more ambiguous.
"Eddie, what kind of shit are you spewing from your mouth?"
Madison pouted, looking confused. She turned to Ian, who was shaking an empty medicine bottle, and was also startled. "Damn it, why are you blushing at a time like this!"
The blonde girl was also getting a little angry.
"I'm so angry! So angry! Do you know how much you've caused me?" Ian immediately retorted, his voice still carrying a hint of indignation.
He was calculating his losses.
The more you calculate.
The more Ian felt his heart bleed, the more he thought about how if he ever encountered a formidable enemy and was just a few points short of experience before dying on the spot, he would haunt his classmate even after he became a ghost.
"?????"
Madison had absolutely no idea what Ian was trying to say.
And this time.
"Great! I knew it!"
Emily, a girl with brown wavy hair, walked into the classroom and asked her classmates for information. Then, she angrily rushed towards Madison.
"Ian doesn't like me! And you, you bitch, are targeting me! There's definitely a reason for that!" She said, glancing furtively at Ian, but Ian didn't even look at her.
no way.
Who could blame the boy, whose heart was bleeding, for still thinking about the power-up he had lost? Emily interpreted this scene as Madison's "emotional manipulation" of Ian.
She was furious with Madison.
Madison rolled her eyes dismissively, remaining calm. "Save your breath, Emily. I'm targeting you because you don't even have the talent to be a bitch."
She made an exaggerated "distance" gesture with her fingers, the kind that would make a Korean ecstatic. "Suggestion: practice with a few more men? Oh wait—"
Madison's acting was also slightly exaggerated, but it was intentional. She suddenly covered her mouth as if she had just realized something and gave Emily a merciless taunt.
"Haven't you been doing this for a while now? How come you haven't improved at all? Have you only learned how to seduce others?" Madison was the first to start the mockery.
"Let's fight! Let's fight!"
The students, always eager for a good show, started jeering. Emily was trembling with anger and was about to roll up her sleeves to start a hair-fighting battle when the classroom door was suddenly pushed open.
A man wearing glasses, who exuded an air of authority despite his lack of anger, walked in.
"Quiet!"
Chemistry teacher Walter White may have only started teaching at Metropolitan Public High School this year, but he already exudes a strong sense of authority as a teacher, perhaps due to his connections with numerous gang members outside of school.
There are rumors.
He is the leader of a certain gang.
His teaching profession was merely a disguise to conceal his true identity as a gangster. Despite this somewhat distorted version of the "Dragon King's Son-in-Law" trope, quite a few students in the school actually chose to believe him.
Therefore.
The crowd that had been jeering earlier immediately scattered like birds and beasts.
Emily slunk back to her seat.
"Class begins now."
Walter White began teaching chemistry in a dry and tedious way.
lunch time.
The cafeteria was noisy and bustling.
"Where is he? That ruthless person."
Ian looked around with his plate full of food. He spotted his target and went straight over to sit down opposite a tall, thin boy from another class.
In the noisy environment, a figure sat down opposite.
"Ok?"
Sam Winchester looked up and saw Ian. Not wanting to be harassed by Ian again, he instinctively picked up his plate, stood up, and went to eat somewhere else.
"Sam."
Ian called out to the other person.
"Sam Winchester, right?"
He began to verify the other person's identity, "If my investigation is correct, you have an older brother named Dean Winchester, right?"
Can I talk to you?
Ian maintained his polite demeanor. Sam Winchester hadn't initially intended to speak with Ian, but after hearing Ian mention his brother, he changed his mind.
The plate was put back on the table.
The two family members sat facing each other, but unfortunately, the atmosphere didn't seem harmonious.
"What do you want to express?"
Sam Winchester stared intently at the classmate from the next class in front of him. He was somewhat worried, but the thought that there were no women in his family made him a little less nervous.
Why are you investigating me?
Sam's tone was unfriendly.
Ian did not give a direct answer.
“Some people at school think you’re aloof, so they often cause you trouble… I’ve already taken care of them for you.” Sensing Sam’s resistance, he began by extending his goodwill.
"Oh?"
Sam frowned upon hearing this.
"You mean you got rid of those annoying guys for me? You mean you chopped them into five pieces, put them in five different places, and then burned them to ashes with salt and kerosene?"
"I hope you remember piercing their hearts with a demon-hunting knife soaked in holy water; that can tear their souls apart." The seemingly innocent boy uttered a startling statement.
He described the appalling methods in the calmest of voices.
"?????"
Even someone as composed as Ian almost lost his composure. Seeing Ian's astonished expression, Sam smiled slightly, revealing a knowing look in his eyes.
"It seems the reason you came to me has something to do with my family's profession." Sam lowered his head and took a bite of the food on his plate. His surprising words were clearly a test.
"That's clever."
Ian sighed.
“My grades aren’t much worse than yours, thank you,” Sam replied, pulling out a notebook. “You can tell me what’s going on with you.”
"Are there paranormal events happening around you, or do you always wake up from nightmares at night?" He wanted to take notes and make a preliminary analysis of Ian's situation.
Sam has gone through this process many times since he was a child.
however.
"Let me get straight to the point." Ian didn't mention that he liked to control the score so that the other person could be on par with him, which was the best proof of his high emotional intelligence.
“I don’t actually need your ghost-catching service. I just hope you can go home and ask around for me, check it out…” Ian first looked around and then leaned forward a little.
"How can I kill Death?" Ian didn't see Death around, but he still lowered his voice, perhaps this was the real way to say something shocking.
"hiss!"
Sam gasped in shock.
"Are you crazy? You actually want to kill a Grim Reaper?!" He was clearly well-informed and knew what Ian was talking about, which was somewhat unexpected for Ian.
"Well, not really."
Ian hesitated for a moment.
"Whoo~"
Sam had just breathed a sigh of relief.
"What I want to take down is a whole bunch of Grim Reapers."
Ian, however, began to correct his choice of words again.
"?!?!"
Sam's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets, his expression one of horror and shock. He looked at Ian and realized he didn't seem to be joking, and he felt he had probably encountered a real madman.
Kill God!
They're a bunch of death gods!
What kind of mental state would lead someone to think such a thing?
