Hong Kong Nights of Passion

Chapter 63: Young Master Chi and Miss Wen were just one shot away from sinking the ball.

Chapter 63: Young Master Chi and Miss Wen will sink the ball in one more shot.

Wen Jinian talked to Wen Jin on the phone for nearly twenty minutes. After finally calming her down, she hung up and sat on the sofa, clutching her phone.

Fu Yiyi, who had just finished yoga, looked up and asked in confusion.

Wen Jinnian's voice was heavy: "My aunt said Zhou Shiyi is pregnant."

"That wicked woman!" Fu Yiyi gritted her teeth. "Didn't your brother say he was calling off the engagement?"

Wen Jinian sighed: "With this pregnancy, the engagement probably can't be called off for the time being."

"Niannian, you can't be so kind."

Would she really want them to be together? Impossible! Zhou Shiyi hurt her so badly back then; she hasn't even started her revenge yet!

---

The Children's Day holiday has passed in the blink of an eye, and students learning to draw will soon be returning to their training institutions.

However, the problem of pigment supply remains unresolved.

The supplier manager, who had been introduced by Jiang Beisen, suddenly disappeared and could not be contacted at all.

After investigation, it was found that the pigments provided by the original supplier had no quality issues; the problem clearly lay in the subsequent handling process.

Jiang Beisen, however, refused to admit it and always pretended to be pitiful and acted miserably in front of Fu Yiyi.

Fu Yiyi was almost deceived by his hypocritical facade, but then she thought she couldn't let him off so easily, so she simply avoided seeing him for the next few days and left him out in the cold.

Wen Jinian, Fu Yiyi, and others sat together, discussing which new supplier to choose.

Everyone agreed that the new partner must guarantee that the materials and accessories are of superior quality in order to meet the teaching needs.

On the 99th floor, in President Chi Jiang's office, Chi Yige made a rare appearance before Chi Min.

"Hey kid, you don't come here often. What's up?" Chi Min walked over and sat down on the sofa next to him.

"Uncle, I missed you, so I came to see you!"

"Don't give me that crap. You're practically a hands-off boss now. What brings you to the office today?"

Chi Min laughed and tossed an apple over, which Chi Yige caught with one hand and fiddled with.

"I remember, Uncle Li and his family were immigrating, and I heard his son was quite good at golf?"

“Sure, if you want to spar, I’ll arrange it,” Chi Min readily agreed.

The Hong Kong Golf Club is located at No. 1 Fan Kam Road Lot, Sheung Shui, New Territories and No. 19 Island Road, Deep Water Bay.

Membership at this golf club is incredibly expensive, costing over HK$1700 million.

Wen Jinian heard from elsewhere that Miss Li, an export art supplies supplier, was about to move abroad.

She pulled Fu Yiyi along; the two of them wore pure white polo shirts with A-line skirts, baseball caps pulled low, and sunglasses covering their faces, making them particularly eye-catching on the lush green field.

Fortunately, Fu Yiyi has this membership.

Wen Jinian and Fu Yiyi looked towards the distant green, where a familiar figure was bending down to adjust his posture. He was wearing a black polo shirt with beige casual pants, and his black baseball cap was pulled low as he was talking quietly with the man next to him.

He swung his club, and the white ball traced a beautiful arc before falling straight into the hole.

Wen Jinnian gripped the cue stick tightly; it seemed the information she had gathered was probably leaked by Chi Yige.

Both men were outstanding in physique and appearance, which naturally attracted the attention of several men on the green.

Miss Li rested her elbow on her golf club, raised an eyebrow and glanced at Chi Yige, her eyes full of amusement.

Chi Yige spread his hands, a meaningful smile playing on his lips: "I think the real intention is not the wine, but rather Miss Li."

"Wow, I'm practically crossing oceans now, and people still care about me?"

Miss Li chuckled softly, twirling the cue stick between her fingers.

Fu Yiyi and Wen Jinnian stepped forward gracefully.

Fu Yiyi took off her sunglasses, straightening her back ramrod straight: "Hello, Miss Li, I am the head of Yinian Art Training Studio. I have long admired your reputation in the industry, and I am honored to have the honor of visiting you today."

"So you two came all the way to the stadium to discuss business?" Miss Li interrupted her, her gaze sweeping over the two of them.

Wen Jinnian stepped forward and said sincerely, "It is precisely because I know you are about to leave Hong Kong that I want to seize this opportunity even more."

Miss Li traced a silver arc with her cue stick in the air, saying, "Today, we're not talking business, we're only discussing golf skills."

He glanced at Wen Jinnian and Fu Yiyi, lightly tapping his golf club with his fingertips: "If this young lady can beat me within nine holes, Yinian Art will have as many raw materials as she wants in the future. Not only will we have a dedicated person to handle it, but we can also lower the price by another percentage point."

She lowered her voice and asked Fu Yiyi, "A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! How good are you at golf?"

Fu Yiyi pursed her lips and shook her head, her hair being lifted and then falling back down by the wind: "It's only happened a few times."

The meaning is so-so.

Wen Jinnian gritted her teeth, her gaze sweeping over the golf club gleaming coldly behind Miss Li.

Chi Yige, leaning against his golf bag, had a half-smile on his face, clearly having anticipated this turn of events.

She took a deep breath and smiled, "Miss Li, we are truly humbled by your skills. Could you perhaps find us a helper?"

Miss Li Lin shrugged: "Of course."

Wen Jinnian suddenly turned her gaze to Chi Yige, "Dr. Chi, could you do me a favor?"

Miss Li raised an eyebrow: "So you two know each other?"

Wen Jinnian coughed lightly: "Alumnus."

Chi Yige smiled faintly: "One of us."

Upon hearing the words "one of our own," Wen Jinnian's fingertips tightened around the cue stick grip.

His voice was low and husky with a hint of laughter, and the heat from his earlobe crept up her neck, so she quickly lowered her head.

Miss Li suddenly realized and pointed to the green: "Then this game..."

Chi Yige twirled the club between his fingertips: "We've just reached the fifth hole, and we're evenly matched."

He suddenly looked at Wen Jinnian and said, "Why don't I teach Wen how to compete for the rest?"

Miss Li squinted, her gaze shifting between Wen Jinnian and Chi Yige, before suddenly bursting into laughter.

The drunkard's intention is not to drink!

"No problem."

The moment Miss Li swung her club into the hole, before the applause had even subsided, Chi Yige turned to Wen Jinnian and raised an eyebrow: "Wen, it's your turn."

Wen Jinian had just taken half a step when a warm chest suddenly pressed against her lower back.

Chi Yige wrapped his arms around her from behind, placed his palm over her hand gripping the stick, and gently tapped her taut thumb with his knuckles: "Relax your wrist, don't clench it like a stone."

His warm breath, carrying the scent of cedar and tobacco, brushed against her reddened earlobe as he spoke, lingering around her.

She could clearly feel the warmth of his casual pants beneath her short skirt. Chi Yige, however, seemed oblivious, wrapping his other arm around her waist and pulling her slightly forward. The golf club traced a silver arc across their overlapping palms: "Look at the flagpole at twelve o'clock."

He suddenly leaned down, his chin almost brushing against her burning cheek, and said, "When hitting the ball, you should shift your weight to your right leg."

Wen Jinian felt embarrassed; the two of them were too close, and several people around them were staring at them.

My heart was pounding, beating really fast.

Chi Yige gently tapped the back of her hand with the hand holding the golf club: "Focus."

His thumb unconsciously rubbed her knuckles, his voice low and seductive, "Guess if you can get it in one shot."

The last syllable seemed to carry a demonic quality, and as soon as the words were spoken, the pole was already swung out.

"Young Master Chi and Miss Wen not only cooperated well, but they were also dazzling!"

Miss Li's words were quite meaningful.

"Young Master Chi and Miss Wen are just one shot away from sinking the ball."
