Chapter 181 Terrifying Swap

Opposite the sofa was an old-fashioned television set, seemingly from the 1970s or 80s, placed directly on the floor with two antennas.

The TV screen was black, it wasn't connected to any power source, and there were no power outlets nearby.

Wang Liang knew what kind of vengeful ghost was in the room, and he also knew how to trigger the ghost's killing patterns.

So he went straight to the old television set and reached out to touch the screen.

As soon as Wang Liang touched the old television set, the screen suddenly lit up.

But there was no signal, the screen was completely white, and a constant hissing sound could be heard.

The signal seemed to be recovering quickly, the screen flickered, and a picture gradually appeared.

The scene shows a room with an old three-seater green leather sofa and a chandelier with a yellow light shining above it.

"This is the view from inside the room; I've been locked inside the TV."

Wang Liang looked at the screen on the television, but the entire living room was not reflected in the image.

The television, which should have been displayed opposite the sofa, was instead located off-screen and not directly projected.

Although the television set hadn't appeared on the screen yet, Wang Liang knew that he had been led into the television set he had just touched by the vengeful ghost, and was no longer in the room of that haunted place.

He turned his head to look at the door. The door was open when he came in, and it wasn't closed after he came in.

But at this moment, the door had been closed tightly, and not a sound was heard.

Wang Liang got up and went to the door. He reached out and pulled on the door, but it didn't budge. He tried pushing it, but the same thing happened.

The Slit-Mouthed Woman possessed him, and after adding supernatural power, she pushed and pulled the door again, but the door showed no sign of opening.

It's as if this door is just a decoration embedded in the wall, not a real door.

Wang Liang returned to the television, and the screen flickered briefly.

Suddenly, a person appeared on the sofa in the picture, sitting there upright.

The figure was blurry, as if the image quality was poor, but it was still vaguely recognizable as a man.

His face was deathly pale, and a forced smile seemed to be tugged at the corners of his mouth, making him look unnatural and eerie.

The scene flashed, and the person appeared in the center of the living room. The light above his head shone on him, casting shadows around him, creating the same flickering light and shadow that Wang Liang had just seen outside the door.

In another flash, the perspective shifted, and the blurry face almost filled the entire screen. The figure was in a strange posture, crouching on the ground, as if peeking at Wang Liang from the television screen, and might crawl out at any moment.

Wang Liang stared calmly at the magnified, ghastly white face on the television screen. This vengeful ghost was undoubtedly trying to teach Sadako a lesson.

The screen shook, and the vengeful ghost moved. From somewhere out of sight, it moved a television set, straightened it, and then squatted motionless in front of it, staring intently at the screen.
On the television screen was Wang Liang, who was squatting in front of a television set watching TV.

Matryoshka dolls are formed.

Although he had expected this scene, Wang Liang still couldn't help but widen his pupils slightly when he actually saw it.

This is a very strange paranormal event. If it were outside, it would at most be classified as a Class C paranormal event, and there wouldn't be many casualties.

However, if there is no way to break this eerie supernatural phenomenon, it is enough to trap and kill a ghost tamer with the strength of a captain.

The screen flickered again, and the perspective returned to the beginning, where the vengeful ghost was sitting back on the sofa.

However, this time, a blurry figure, a woman, was sitting next to that vengeful ghost.

Continuous flashing.

The two vengeful ghosts moved to the center of the living room, in front of the screen, and adjusted the television.

A new television set appears, and the screen shows a ghost crouching in front of it.

Inside the ghost's television set, there was Wang Liang squatting in front of it.

Then it flickered again, and this time three ghosts appeared, sitting motionless on the sofa. At this point, the television screen suddenly went black, as if the power had been cut off.

"Is this the end? Four layers of space, I'm in the deepest one. This ghost's ability to stack layers is not good, and it's quite slow. I've been watching TV for a long time. I wonder if being controlled by Sadako will allow it to stack more layers and bring about some changes."

Wang Liang stood up and looked around. The living room contained only a sofa, a television, and a chandelier.

The bedroom door next door was half-open. Wang Liang went in and found that the bed inside had been dismantled and was scattered on the floor as wooden blocks. There was a sheet on the floor with lines of words written in blood on it.

It came from a few cursed individuals, but contained little of value. These individuals were trapped here and unable to escape, and what they wrote was mostly similar to "I was here" graffiti.

A long, slanted shadow appeared at the bedroom doorway, and Wang Liang suddenly turned his head to look.

Startled, the shadow immediately retreated back into the living room.

Wang Liang walked back into the living room, which was empty except for the eerie shadow cast on the wall by the chandelier as it swayed.

The television turned on again, but the white screen just kept flickering with a hissing sound, without any other changes.

Wang Liang glanced at the shadow on the wall and then looked away.

That's not a vengeful ghost, but a ghost that's separated from this place by a supernatural dimension and is trying to influence this place to kill people.

"Let's get started."

Wang Liang stood in front of the television. The door to this room was fake; the real entrance was the television set in front of him, which connected to the other rooms.

Special supernatural entities like Ghost Lake and Ghost Blood, which can connect different spaces for teleportation, can be easily infiltrated, breaking through supernatural barriers to enter other rooms and gradually escape from here.

Besides, although the forms of the supernatural may differ, they are ultimately a contest of the degree of terror.

A sufficiently terrifying supernatural phenomenon can forcibly break the supernatural space here, and the televisions on each floor are the weakest points.

For example, if Zhang Dong were here, with a flick of his hand, all these fancy, nesting-doll-like rooms would probably disappear; they couldn't trap him at all.

However, if this is forcibly broken without a positioning medium, there is a considerable possibility that the process of breaking through will lead to getting lost in the unknown darkness.

Wang Liang naturally chose the first method, which was more feasible.

Although the television screen in front of him was still flickering with a distorted image, the televisions in other supernatural spaces were displaying images normally.

The vengeful ghosts that had been superimposed on each other were now either squatting on the ground or sitting on the sofa, quietly watching him on television.

And that, in turn, forms the medium.

Wang Liang was in the fourth-floor room, while on the third floor, a vengeful ghost was crouching in front of the television, silently staring at Wang Liang on the screen.

But suddenly, the TV screen in front of it flickered and distorted.

When it recovered, Wang Liang's slightly pale face suddenly magnified to fill the entire screen, with a strange smile on his face, as if he were spying on the vengeful ghost outside the screen, just like the vengeful ghost had just done.

This change seems to have broken the rules governing the vengeful spirit, causing it to change.

The vengeful ghost swayed, stiffened as it stood up, and tried to turn around and walk back to the sofa.

But suddenly a pale hand emerged from the television behind it, invaded the room, grabbed one of the ghost's feet, and pulled it to the ground.

Then, with his second hand, upper body, and lower body, Wang Liang used Sadako's supernatural power to eerily crawl out of the television set, and then used the Kuchisake-onna supernatural power to suppress the vengeful ghost.

After the vengeful spirit was completely suppressed, its form rapidly disappeared, suggesting it was merely a supernatural phenomenon.

Wang Liang invaded the third floor from the fourth floor, and the room on this floor was no different from the one before.

After looking around, he turned around and climbed into the television behind him, starting his reverse intrusion once again.

The terrifying identities have been switched.
