So I think I should entrust this sacred mountain to you. Whether you use it as a Taoist temple or as a blessed land for earth immortals, it is up to you.”

Seeing that Yuanshi Tianzun wanted to refuse, Mingzun sighed, "It's rare for me to be willing to give away my treasures and act as a generous benefactor. You still don't want it? If you really don't want it, I'll have to put on airs as your master."

Throughout his interactions with Yuanshi Tianzun, Mingzun never considered himself his master; in fact, he specifically requested that Yuanshi Tianzun not regard him as such. Of course, this did not change Yuanshi Tianzun's mind; it merely altered his form of address.
