Chapter 68 The Cat Joins the Mountaineering Club (Please Read On!)

During the break between the first and second classes, Shirakawa Momo sat properly at her desk reading a book. Her slender figure exuded a faint sense of aloofness, making people hesitant to approach her.

"I want to join the mountaineering club." She declared softly in a serious tone, her clear voice leaving no room for negotiation.

Kuronuma rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on. The private Seiran Academy had a rule that members had to join clubs, and as expected, Shirakawa Momo would take the initiative to approach Toyama Chitose.

He reached into the drawer of his desk and took out a handheld game console, then got up and went with her to the activity room for the mountaineering club.

"Is Shinkai trying to get you to reform the band?"

"Hmm," Shirakawa Momo replied with a cute nasal tone, seemingly completely uninterested in the topic.

Kuronuma raised his hand and ruffled her short black hair, then turned down the stairs and asked with some confusion, "Why is she so persistent?"

"I don't know," Shirakawa Momo emphasized.

"Occasionally."

"No wonder my senior still keeps sports drinks on hand."

Shirakawa Momo curled her lip, her voice suddenly turning cold, tinged with disdain: "I don't know why she disbanded the band. Who knows what's on a woman's mind?"

Judging from her behavior, she didn't care about the band, but was more dissatisfied with Chitose Toyama.
