Chapter 24 Prejudice

Chapter 24 Prejudice (Please Read)

Monday, October 9.

Under a cloudless sky, in an old apartment building, two adjacent doors opened at the same time.

Kuronuma Kiba walked out of the room carrying the last discounted lunch box and glanced down at Shirakawa Momo who was locking the door. The temperature was a bit cool in the morning, and she wore a loose black jacket over her black sailor suit with the white LoveTrap cursive printed on the back.

"Do you want to go buy discounted lunch boxes together tonight?" He locked the door and went downstairs with her.

"No, I'll cook for myself."

Shirakawa Tao raised her hand to her mouth and yawned slightly. Her golden eyes were deep, blurry, and dull.

As usual, the cat who hasn't woken up yet is still cute.

When they walked out of the apartment building, Kuronuma Kiba had the urge to touch her head. As soon as he raised his hand, Shirakawa Momo's eyes immediately focused and she shot him a sharp glance.

"What do you want to do?"

"Touch your head. Hiss, it hurts."

"Don't touch me."

Shirakawa Tao withdrew her foot from his instep, frowned in disgust, and pressed down the corners of her mouth in anger, which made her look more provocative than before.

"Okay, I won't touch you."

Kuronuma Fang raised his hands in surrender, tilted his head and smiled, and asked, "Where's the senior's coat? I'll go return it to her today."

"I've washed it, but it hasn't dried yet." She looked ahead with a cold face, her golden eyes gradually becoming blank.

"What's going on between you and Senior Yuanshan?"

"Just remember that she's a bad woman, so be careful of her traps and snares."

"Just curious, was her wrist broken?"

Kuronuma Kiba stopped in front of the convenience store and saw Shirakawa Momo standing there waiting for him. He quickly went into the store, bought a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk, and then set off again towards the tram station.

"Senior Yuanshan told me that she broke her hand accidentally." He tore open the plastic wrap of the bread, took a bite, and spoke while eating.

"Women like to lie, do you need me to teach you?" Shirakawa Momo walked with an unchanged expression, glancing at him as if asking, "You don't even know that 1+1=2?"
After saying this, her eyes, which had just focused, quickly dimmed again.

Noticing the strange change in Shirakawa Momo's eyes, Kuronuma Ya wisely did not reply, leaving her time to be in a daze.

When he reached the tram stop, he stuffed the last piece of bread into his mouth, swallowed it with milk, and threw the garbage into the trash can on the side of the road.

The two walked into the station together, passed the ticket gate, and stood on the platform waiting for the train.

hum-

The train that Kuronuma Kiba was going to take roared into the station, stirring up a gust of wind that ruffled Shirakawa Momo's short black hair and skirt.

She wrapped her coat tightly around her, turned her head to look at Kuronuma Fang, and moved her thin lips slightly: "I will return the coat to her personally. Also, good morning, be careful on your way, and have a safe trip to school."

The voice gradually became quieter and could hardly be heard in the noisy station.

"Okay." Heinuma Ya walked into the carriage and waved goodbye to those behind him.

The tram shuttled through the huge, complex and indifferent city. After more than ten minutes, it slowly stopped at Baishan Station.

Walking up the hill leading to the college, I could hear girls chatting, and the posts on the college forum attracted a lot of attention.

"Hey, look, Kuronuma-san."

"Kuronuma-san is so handsome!"

"But, I heard that he likes to stare at girls' breasts."

"Isn't that better? Meicai, you have hope."

"Give up, there's no way he'll be interested in us."

As I walked into the academy gate, I met Shinmi Shiona who was doing student union work.

The sky was clear and cloudless, and the sun was scattering its passion unrestrainedly. The yellow leaves in the courtyard were shining, and the remaining red leaves on the branches were swaying in the wind, making crisp sounds.

"Good morning, Kuronuma-kun." Shinkai Shiona walked beside him, stepping on the fallen leaves. She had a Western-style school uniform jacket tied around her waist, covering the hem of her black pleated skirt. She wore a red armband with the words "Disciplinary Committee Member" on her arm of her white shirt.

She leaned over to glance at Kuronuma Ya's stern face, raised her hand to cover her moist lips, and said in an embarrassed tone, "Hey, Kuronuma-kun, there seem to be some bad rumors about you in the academy."

"I know."

"Kuronuma-kun also reads the academy forum. Hmm, if it spreads everywhere, it will have a very bad impact, right?"

"A childish trick."

Black Swampfang looked at her face, his green eyes full of worry, but a cunning curve at the corner of his mouth.

She walked into the teaching building silently and came to the shoe cabinet. Seeing that he didn't care about the rumors, Shinkai Shiona pursed her lips and nodded, then walked towards the girls' shoe cabinet area.

I changed into my indoor shoes, took the love letter from the shoe cabinet, and walked to the stairs. She was already standing on the steps waiting for me.

Heinuma Ya rubbed his forehead with a headache, wondering why she was still haunting him. Could it be that without him, the Kendo Club could not get the Jade Dragon Flag?

"Hey, Kuronuma-kun, I'm already the strongest king."

Shinkai Shiona took out the prepared mobile phone from the pocket of her skirt and held it in front of him, showing a lively smile, and even her steps up the stairs were filled with enthusiasm: "Come play with me, I'm super strong."

"I rejected you a long time ago."

"That's true, but I've asked a friend to find out more about the Jade Dragon Flag from Kuronuma-kun's former teammates."

"So what?"

"It's not Kuronuma-kun's fault."

Shinkai Shiona quickened her pace and went upstairs. Standing in the corridor on the second floor, she turned to face Kuronuma Yama. The sunlight coming through the glass window cast a brilliant filter on her.

"At least, I will stand by Kuronuma-kun unconditionally. If two people refuse, there's no way we can surrender, right?"

Kuronuma Kiba raised his face and looked at her, their eyes met. He rubbed the tip of his nose with his hand, and walked past Shinkai Shiona with an expressionless face, leaving only a cold word echoing in the corridor.

"You said you wouldn't invite me to join the Kendo Club again. If you want me to trust you, at least do what you said."

Arriving at Class 1, Grade 1 and opening the door, the originally noisy classroom fell silent for a brief moment. The students gathered in groups of three or four cast their glances at Kuronuma Ya, then continued chatting as if nothing had happened.

"Good morning, Ya." Aizawa Tora, who was still memorizing his history book, greeted him listlessly, obviously tormented by the history of village fights.

"morning."

Heinuma Ya walked straight to the desk, opened the window for ventilation, pulled out a chair, took out "The Exile of Love" from the plastic bag containing his lunch box, and sat in his seat to read.

Shinkai Shiona, who followed him into the classroom, did not continue to pester him and easily joined the casual chat of a small group of girls.

A few minutes later, Ishiguro Go, who had clashed with him on the first day of his transfer and reminded him of the college forum post on Saturday, came over to talk to him.

"Kuronuma-san, the post on the academy forum already has over a thousand replies."

Blackmarshfang ignored him.

"You can't go on like this. Haven't you experienced this? Everyone looks at you through tinted glasses, your reputation gets worse, and strangers will also have stereotypes about you."

Ishiguro Gou was talking nonstop, but he still turned a blind eye, said nothing, and just flipped the pages of the book.

"Prejudice in people's hearts is a mountain, forget it."

After saying this, Ishiguro Go finally got tired and prepared to leave.

"Other people have a mountain in their hearts, what does it have to do with me?"

Black Swamp Fang picked up a black marker and drew a line under the words "Women will become docile because of this." He turned to look at him and said, "You are afraid because you are not strong enough, not good enough."

This is a kind reminder given out of consideration for Ishiguro's kindness.

"You don't understand. I just like porn and the anime. I haven't done anything wrong, so I'm being ostracized by everyone."

Seeing him holding his head in pain, Black Swamp Fang sneered, his lips curled up in disdain: "Heh, this afternoon, I will tell you, as a strong man, the correct way to deal with rumors."

Ishiguro Go looked up at him. Behind Kuronuma Ya, the autumn wind was blowing outside the window, and the flying fallen leaves were burning with the flames of war.
