Chapter 10 Fox Senior

Chapter 10 Fox Senior
On a noisy night, a girl holding a guitar stood in front of Kuronuma Ya. The street lights illuminated her long light purple hair, and her upturned eyes gave people a cunning feeling.

She has a pair of fox-like eyes, charming and attractive.

"Junior Kuronuma, has this strange man caused you any trouble? I can help you call the police." The fox girl leaned over and looked Kuronuma Ya in the eye, and asked with a smile.

Junior?

Kuronuma Ya looked down at his clothes. From after school until now, he had been wearing the Western-style uniform of the private Qinglan Academy, with a white shirt with the school emblem on the chest.

Since they were studying in the same college, it was normal for the other party to know his name. He was famous for his "bad temper" among the students in Tokyo.

"Excuse me, Senior."

"Hello, hello."

Nakamura Masayuki exaggeratedly raised his hands and waved them in front of him, his eyes wide, and his tone was not without a hint of flattery: "Calling the police is too much, isn't it?"

"Father, you are already an old man approaching 40. It's okay that you don't pay attention to your appearance, but why do you casually chat up handsome guys on the street?" Senior Fox stood up straight, hugged the guitar in her arms, and took two steps away from the uncle.

"Hey, I was just passing by, saw my idol, and came to ask for his autograph."

"Really? Then I'll tell grandpa, you..."

The noisy conversation between the father and daughter gave Heinuma Ya a headache. He originally wanted to watch the performance quietly and think about whether to ask the agency to help him find a job, but he didn't expect something like this to happen.

I was harassed by a social butterfly from the morning, ate sticky talcum powder at lunch, wasted two hours in the college after school, and met a strange uncle in the evening.

Today is really bad, let’s go home.

Life is always like this, not everything will go smoothly, so you can't back down easily.

After school tomorrow, I'll try my luck near Shinjuku Station. If I still can't find a suitable part-time job, I'll have to let the agency make the difference.

He ignored the father and daughter, got up from the bench, and walked along the sidewalk towards Shibuya Station, preparing to go back to his apartment to sleep.

The chaotic lights illuminated the dark night, and the noise of cars was everywhere.

While standing at the intersection waiting for the traffic light, he heard the sound of rapid breathing coming from far away behind him. Heinuma Ya looked back and saw Fox Senior holding a guitar in her arms, shaking her shoulders from side to side, running towards him quickly.

The green light came on, and Kuronuma Fang walked across the zebra crossing to the other side of the street. Behind him, he heard the unsteady breathing and shouting of Fox Senior.

"Please wait a moment."

After confirming that the other party had come to find him on purpose, Hei Lunya stood still and turned around to watch her squeeze through the crowd and stop in front of him.

"Is something wrong?"

"I'm sorry."

Senior Fox leaned over, supporting her knees with both hands, breathing heavily, and the guitar that was hanging diagonally across her chest only by its strap slipped a little.

After resting for a while, she raised her head and looked at Black Swamp Fang, forcing an apologetic smile.

"I'm very sorry, but my father hasn't caused any trouble to Kuronuma-san, right?"

"I wouldn't say it's bothering me, but I do want to call the police."

"Ah, anyway, I'm very sorry!" Senior Fox moved the guitar in front of her to her back, took a deep breath, clasped her hands in front of her chest, and bowed formally to apologize.

Kuronuma's gaze followed her manicured fingers to the curve of the T-shirt outlined by the guitar strap, and the neckline revealed her white collarbone.

"It's ok."

He politely averted his gaze, turned around and walked towards the tram station with the crowd of office workers who had just finished overtime. "If you have nothing else to do, I'll take my leave."

"When Kuronuma-kun was watching my performance just now, his face looked a little grim. Is he troubled by something?"

Fox-senpai walked beside him naturally, and suddenly exclaimed, "Ah," as if she had remembered something important.
"Ah, I haven't introduced myself yet. I'm Chitose Toyama, a second-year student at the private Qinglan Academy, and I'm currently the student council president."

"Please give me your guidance." Kuronuma Ya glanced at her profile indifferently. "It's so late, Kuronuma-kun is in a place like this—"

Chitose Toyama's voice paused, her expression became somewhat unnatural, the concern in her eyes faded, and in the end only suspicion remained.

"Are you doing some bad part-time job? As the student council president, I have to remind you that violating college regulations will likely result in expulsion." She asked in a very serious tone.

"No, it's just that I can't find a suitable part-time job because of my strange time leaving school." Hei Zangya frowned, feeling a little impatient.

Do all the student council members of the private Qinglan Academy like to chase others and ask irrelevant questions?
If the other party does not cooperate, they will bring up the college regulations as an excuse, which is really annoying.

"I see."

Toyama Chitose nodded in agreement, reached out to hold him, and asked with a smile, "How about I find a part-time job for Kuronuma-kun?"

Black Marshfang stopped and turned to see her blinking her left eye, lifting her hair behind her ear and smiling.

"What job?" He took his hand off her arm and looked at her with suspicion in his dark eyes.

"What's with that expression? Don't look at me like that. It's the student council president's responsibility to help underclassmen in need."

Toyama Chitose patted his chest confidently, a smile that was barely visible in his cunning purple eyes.

"It's actually my father's shop. He's been worried about having no one to look after the shop while he's out delivering goods, so he wants me to help. But I have to pursue my dreams and I really don't have the time."

The night wind lifted her soft purple hair, rendering charming colors under the unreal lights.

"Thank you, senior sister."

Black Swamp Fang thanked him politely, then asked, "How's the treatment?"

"The store is near Shibuya Station. I'll show you around and we'll talk as we walk."

"Excuse me, Senior."

The two walked side by side on Shibuya's busiest street, like a couple meeting in front of the statue of Hachiko, the loyal dog. Chitose Toyama walked on the side close to the building, looking at the bright windows under the neon signs as she walked.

"Since you're a junior, I'll give you 1200 yen an hour. The hours are from 6pm to 10pm, not bad, right?"

The tone was completely negotiating, and Hei Numafang couldn't help but wonder if she had some other ulterior motive.

This hourly wage is enough for a student to stand in the scorching sun in midsummer handing out flyers, or shake milk tea in a milk tea shop for 12 hours, but now he only needs to sit in the store and work as a cashier - and he won't miss the last bus.

Even without the air conditioner, it's still a good job.

"Senior Yuanshan, I will not accept unspoken rules." Heinuma Ya pondered for a moment and said seriously.

"Pfft—what are you talking about?"

Chitose Toyama covered her mouth with one hand and chuckled softly. With the other hand, she patted his shoulder firmly. Her fingers, painted with purple nail polish, looked very beautiful. "Father is fine. Besides, my mother goes to the store occasionally. Don't worry. This way."

Kuronuma followed her into a dark alley between buildings and came to the back of the high-end shopping street. Between the convenience store and the cake shop was a white sign with a green light on.

The name of the store is Elephant, and the logo is a cartoon elephant.

The man in the flowered shirt who had just approached him, Masayuki Nakamura, was unloading the speakers used by Chitose Toyama in her performances from a delivery motorcycle.

"Senior Toyama?" Kuronuma Kiba suddenly asked.

"My father married into the family. My mother's last name is Yuanshan, and so is my grandfather's."

Chitose Toyama walked over to the motorcycle and took off the guitar bag tied to the back seat. "Father, starting tomorrow, Kuronuma-kun will be helping you run the shop. The hourly wage is 1200 yen."

It was a completely commanding tone.

It’s so miserable to marry into a family. When faced with a notification, all I can do is reply “received”, Hei Zang Ya thought to himself.
