Chapter 745 The Demon is Still Cool

As soon as she entered the border of hell, Gwen exclaimed incredulously, "Wow!"

The terrain of Hell's Border can be controlled by its controller, but Iliana has never done so, so Hell's Border is still the way Velasco shaped it. She had long horns on her head, and behind her were a bunch of red, bat-like wings and a thick, arrow-shaped tail. She grinned, revealing sharp teeth.

What caught Peter's attention even more was the pendant around her neck, engraved with a pentagram, with a blood-red gem set in each of the four points, while only the very top point was empty.

That's Velasco's bloodstone pendant.

"A standard demon, a face that couldn't be more standard, and to be honest, it's pretty cool—and every one of us can fly. Who's going to tell Strange? The Bloodstone pendant he's been longing for has been found."

Peter gave Iliana a wink, but Iliana shook her head with difficulty. Now everyone could see that only one of the two mages could end this crisis. And quickly, the demon Iliana swooped down with her greatsword raised.

“Based on your previous situation, we are not without advantages. The demonized you are not inclined to cast spells, so we need to change our strategy. Gwen, protect yourself and find an opportunity to steal the pendant from her chest.”

Peter then looked at Iliana: "She's here to get back at you. What are your plans?"

Iliana stared at her demonized chest, nodded hesitantly, "I've thought of a way, but it requires a delicate ritual and some other things, like temporarily restraining the other party's movements, which is quite troublesome." Peter glanced at the giant demon woman in the sky, then thought of her mountain-bursting battle with Velasco, and took a deep breath: "I'll do my best, you prepare first."

The anti-venom suit and nanosuit were instantly upgraded to their highest specifications. Peter then leaped into the air and began casting a spell. Seratops's crimson chains spread from his body, directly binding the demon itself. However, the demon quickly broke free and charged directly at Peter.

"Hey, why don't we talk? I mean, you're Iliana, and she's Iliana, what's there to be upset about?"

"Then why does she hate me so much?!"

The greatsword almost struck Peter, but almost was almost. Peter circled around and landed behind the demon, took a deep breath, and immediately released powerful electric currents from his hands, punching the demon in the shoulder blade. The massive current exploded into a dazzling ball of light in the air.

But the scene Peter hoped for didn't happen. Instead of descending from the sky, the demon grabbed Peter and pulled him down, dragging him in front of it. Peter could only laugh awkwardly: "Looks like you're pretty strong, huh?"

"You can try it—ah!"

Peter ripped the demon Iliana's hand from his neck with a tearing motion that shattered reality. Then, as he fell, he cast another spell, magical spider silk hooking onto the demonized Iliana's body. Peter then whispered the name of the spell.

"Nice's soul weaves a web."

The spider silk was no longer organic matter but magic, and it firmly bound the demonized Iliana. Peter then landed on the ground and threw her hard, finally slamming her to the ground before she could break free of the silk. He then quickly used the magical silk to stick her to the ground.

"Ok?"

"Not even close!"

“The last thing I need right now is to be a little worse.” Hearing Iliana’s reply, Peter took a deep breath. Hellfire seared the soul-woven web, and soon she would break free of her restraints. Just then, Gwen suddenly appeared beside him again: “I’ve taken the pendant off her chest. What’s next?”

Peter looked at the pendant in Gwen's hand, then snatched it, making himself the target of her attack. He then took a deep breath and waited for the demon Iliana to break free of the Soul Web before waving his hand to open a Suspended Ring.

She rushed in and crashed headfirst into another portal. The two portals were almost touching, making it impossible for her to escape the portal trap. Peter finally breathed a sigh of relief and sat down to rest for a moment.

“I should have done it the first time… but there was no way to be sure how she would charge at me.”
