Chapter 688 Middle Eastern Wolverine

The Silver Samurai's target of Logan was certainly not because Logan was the strongest.

It was because Logan, who had lived in Japan for a period of time after the war, was once honored as the Wolf Samurai for doing many good deeds (the Japanese didn't seem to know what better way to address him). As a fairly well-known samurai, Logan was the one who could allow the Silver Samurai to prove himself.

He was an illegitimate child, raised by his biological father solely for his mutant abilities, with the sole purpose of training him to be a henchman. He escaped and joined Hydra to prove that he was not just a pure henchman, and what could be more credible than defeating the Wolf Warrior?
There were many ways, but his little brain couldn't think of any of them; he was only determined to challenge Logan to a duel.

Logan didn't hold back. He extended his steel claws and lunged forward, quickly dodging the opponent's slash. He then prepared to stab the claws into the opponent's body, but the opponent swung his katana horizontally. With the Silver Samurai's mutant ability taking effect, Logan's left-hand steel claws were cleanly severed.

Logan froze for a moment, looking at his claws in disbelief. He hurriedly tried to defend himself with the steel claw in his right hand, but it was immediately severed.

Logan rolled to the katana he had dropped, then raised it to clash with the silver samurai. The katana was instantly severed, and Logan's chest was ripped open by the samurai's blade.

Logan could only look at his opponent with confusion: Is your katana legal?

"This is my mutated ability, Wolf Warrior. Just like your bone claws, I can make any sharp sword indestructible! No weapon can stop the Silver Warrior's blade!"

"Logan, catch!"

After dodging the Silver Warrior's attack with a roll, Logan caught the Dragon Fang Sword that Spider-Man had thrown from somewhere. Then, with the attitude that it wouldn't hurt to give it a try, he clashed swords with the Silver Warrior. This time, the seemingly ancient longsword withstood the Silver Warrior's slash.

The silver warrior paused for a moment, then shouted excitedly, "Haha, that's it! Wolf Warrior! Let's settle this once and for all!"

"I really don't understand what this person is thinking."

After throwing a magical weapon at Logan, Peter sighed as he dodged Daken's attacks. Compared to the Silver Warrior, Daken's claws, though sharp, were much easier to deal with. Peter simply used the four steel claws that shot out from his back to clash with Daken.

"Speaking of which, it's been almost a year since we last met, hasn't it? Where have you been since the raft escape, buddy? Can you tell me? Weren't you with the ominous sign last time? Do you still have any news about him? Have you been in touch recently?"

While watching Deakin parry the relentless, uninterrupted steel claws, Peter launched spider silk to try and lock his legs, but Deakin dodged with remarkable agility and seized an opening to pounce on Peter, who was easily pierced through.

Of course, it only pierced a layer of shell.

The pierced layer of armor quickly reformed into nanobots, firmly fixing Daken's limbs in place. Daken lacked the strength and ability to break free, so he could only roar in Peter's direction. Peter walked up to Daken and examined him closely.

"So, the Hand really does have brainwashing rituals, and they're very effective. Even the person who killed your mother can be brainwashed into having no ability to talk."

Seeing Daken firmly bound, Peter raised an eyebrow, then turned around as if realizing something. At that moment, Black Cat and Shadowcat were fighting X-23. If X-23 were stronger than Logan and Daken in terms of raw power, it wouldn't be surprising, but X-23 was special. Logan and his descendants possessed incredibly strong healing abilities due to their mutant powers, along with a wild nature. Logan and Daken had weakened their healing abilities and suppressed their wildness by implanting adamantium, while X-23's adamantium was only injected into his claws; he lacked a skeleton throughout his body.

This not only means that X-23 is faster than Logan and Daken, but also that their fighting styles are completely different. When not in action, X-23, wearing sunglasses, looks very indifferent, but once she starts fighting, she leaps and bounds with incredible speed and her fighting style is very much like that of some kind of wild beast. Moreover, her wild instincts have not been weakened. Peter tried to aim at her with his webs and trip her, but X-23 dodged very quickly.

Phantom Cat and Black Cat are facing this situation. Phantom Cat is alright; although she's not very fast, X-23 can't hit her. Felicia, on the other hand, is in a worse situation. Even with the enhancement from the Super Soldier Serum, she can only be guaranteed not to be caught by X-23. Her equipment is really useless.

After thinking for a moment, Peter came up with an idea. He quickly communicated with Katie and then looked at Felicia: "Black Cat, run this way!"

"I hope you really have some way to stop me from running around. I have no way to deal with this little girl."

Felicia gritted her teeth and continued running. X-23 caught up smoothly. Peter fired webs at X-23 continuously, but X-23 quickly dodged and soon arrived at the route Peter had set for her.

Then, a pair of hands reached out from the floor, grabbed X-23's ankles, and pulled her forcefully, burying her directly in the ground.

Katie crawled out from the floor next to Peter and looked at X-23. The little girl, who couldn't speak, bared her teeth and brandished her steel claws at the three of them. Meanwhile, Logan, who had obtained a weapon, directly defeated the Silver Warrior with his swordsmanship and knocked him to the ground.

"It seems you're still not quite right for the Hand. They recruit ninjas, not delusional people who fantasize about being samurai."

"Perhaps you are right, Wolf Warrior. I originally thought that a decisive battle with you would be our final outcome, but the Hand would prefer to eliminate you in a despicable way."

Silver Samurai smiled at Logan, then was instantly swallowed by a blue vortex and ran away, leaving behind four people and the two captured Wolverines.

"Nornstone is still too useful. By the way, what despicable method is used to eliminate us?"

Faced with Peter's question, Logan sniffed carefully and sensed something was wrong: "Hmm... a large number of bombs. It looks like there are explosives detonating all around here. They're planning to blow us up."

"Then they probably know this won't kill us, but this building... wait a minute, Katie, please take all the bombs out."

Peter opened the mirror space, activated his suit's high-speed mode, and, with Katie's help, retrieved all the bombs and threw them into the mirror space to detonate. Just as Peter was marveling at how useful magic was, his spider-sense suddenly activated, predicting what would happen next.

A dazzling light erupted from Deacon and X-23's bodies, followed by an explosion.
