Chapter 68 Remarks on the launch
The day has finally arrived. It will be available on Qidian tomorrow at 12 o'clock.

This is my first book on Qidian. I've written a few before, and unsurprisingly, they all flopped. I'm a pretty unsuccessful person. I couldn't find a job after graduation, and I tried taking the civil service exam but failed. I was too embarrassed to wait until my status as a recent graduate was cleared before taking the exam again. I felt bad for my parents. To make matters worse, I have bad skin; it gets allergic when I sweat. So, in the end, I had no choice but to try posting it on Qidian, and I was surprised to receive so much support.

So I thought, if I could support myself by writing novels, that would be great.

So, now that I've vented a little, let's talk about this book.

I wasn't confident about my chances of achieving anything on Qidian, or even getting a contract, which is why I chose to start by writing fanfiction. I chose American comics because I'm more familiar with them, and they have a larger audience. I initially conceived two themes: one where the protagonist is a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who intervenes in the plot with a not-so-strong cheat ability, and the other, this one, features Spider-Man as the protagonist. Both share the commonality of involving the protagonist in everything from street incidents to cosmic crises. Of course, both stories follow a fairly authentic American comic book style, quite different from most American comic book novels currently available.

The reason I chose Spider-Man is because... I couldn't find any Spider-Man fanfiction that I wanted to read, so I simply wrote one myself, it's that simple.

There are risks involved in writing this, of course, but the main reason is that I really wanted to read this kind of American comic book story, but I couldn't find any similar books. So I thought that maybe many people, like me, would want to read this kind of American comic book story, so I started writing it. Looking at it now, it has achieved some small success, proving that people can indeed accept this type of story, so I am very happy.

What else? The protagonist's abilities will definitely upgrade, and the Spider-Men from different universes will be the source of these upgrades. Besides the zombie universe where clues have already been laid, I can tell you definitively that we'll be visiting the Toei universe (featuring the 400-year-old Spider-Man), the 1994 Spider-Man universe, the 1999 Super Spider-Man universe, the 2008 Amazing Spider-Man universe, and some other strange and unusual universes. Consider this a preview.

Finally, I'm just a new author, so please feel free to criticize anything I've done wrong. If there's anything I've done incorrectly, I'll correct it promptly.

And finally, a reminder that this book is being released on a pay-per-view basis. As the editor told me, the pay-per-view starts from chapter 67, meaning chapters 67-74 are free tonight, and will be charged starting tomorrow noon.

There won't be a massive update tomorrow, but if the initial subscription count exceeds 2000, no, even if it's only 1500, then I can guarantee that as long as things are alright in the real world, I will update four times a day.

That's all, thank you everyone.

Finally, it's time for book recommendation. We'll offer up a book as a blessing, and then it's your choice!

Who said I got promoted because of women!
