Chapter 36 Uncle Superman
The man was about thirty to forty years old, and his attire was normal for free America. However, the fresh bloodstains on his collar and the obvious marks on his knuckles made him feel that something was wrong.

The bloodstains were located at a high position and appeared to be spurting out, indicating that the man had been in close combat, perhaps using something to hit someone's head or neck, causing a heavy blow that eventually caused a splash.

The colors are quite bright, which means that the time interval between what happened then and now is not that long, and it is very likely that it happened today.

The marks on the knuckles showed signs of skin peeling with dotted bleeding, which were usually caused by abrasions, swelling or fractures caused by punching hard objects or human bodies. But according to Eric's feeling, this was clearly a characteristic of hand-to-hand combat.

All the images he subconsciously observed formed a clip that was currently playing in Eric's mind.

Based on the available information, Eric placed himself in the man's shoes, lunged forward, grabbed the man's neck with his left hand, then struck him in the face with his right. After a brief struggle, he stabbed him in the torso with some sharp weapon, causing blood to splatter.
Frame after frame of the picture made Eric look at the three people who had already walked to the square in front of the supermarket, and his eyes became sharp.

Considering all these circumstances, if he chose to ignore them, then this woman and her daughter would probably not end well.

The distance between the two is fourteen meters.

Seeing the man forcibly controlling the woman and the little girl and walking towards the parking lot in front, Eric took off his jacket and followed them while wrapping up the fist that was pointing at his right hand.

If I'm not mistaken, this man came prepared. He specifically checked or knew that the woman would come to the supermarket to buy groceries at this time, so he must have a car to take the woman away from this place where there are many people and eyes.

As expected, when he slowly wrapped his fist with his jacket, the man stopped in front of a Ford Edge, opened the back door, forcibly picked up the little girl and threw her into the back seat. Then, after closing the door, he forcibly dragged the woman with a pleading face into the passenger seat.

Then he cursed and trotted towards the driver's seat.

At this time, when the man named Chuck opened the door and sat in the driver's seat, his view facing the supermarket finally allowed him to spot Eric walking towards the car.

Chuck was stunned, but because he didn't know Eric, he subconsciously thought that Eric's car was parked in his direction.

But when Eric walked straight towards him and suddenly came to the front of his car, Chuck noticed something wrong from Eric's expressionless face.

He subconsciously stretched out his right hand and reached for the storage compartment on the right, wanting to pick up something that would give him a sense of security.

But at this moment, Eric had already expressionless face and walked silently to the car window, as if he had crossed several meters in an instant. He clenched his right fist and stared at Chuck's wide eyes, his elbow joints stretched into a full bend, and the strong wind he brought stabbed fiercely at the car window.

Click!

The car window exploded in this incredibly powerful punch, shattering into pieces. Before the fragments fell and flew in the air, the fist wrapped in the jacket had penetrated through them and continued to rush towards Chuck's face with glass shards.

"Fuck!"

Chuck only had time to curse, and all he could see was the fist that was bigger than a sandbag and was magnified at 0.5 times the speed.

When it touched him, he felt like he was hit by a car.

First, there are wrinkles caused by the collision of skin and flesh with the impact force, followed by the crisp sound of the nose bridge denting, and finally the moment when the eyeball bulges due to the surge in intracranial pressure.

"boom!"

The punch was so powerful that Chuck lost all consciousness on the spot. His body suddenly fell forward and his head hit the steering wheel hard.

The woman in the car and the little girl in the back seat were stunned and just stared at the scene.

Eric retracted his fist, shook off the glass fragments wrapped in his right jacket, then opened the car door, stretched out his left hand to pull out Chuck, who was unconscious inside, and threw him to the floor.

Ignoring the passersby in the square who were also looking over, he gripped the car door with his left hand and leaned over the roof with his right hand to look at the woman inside and the little girl in the back seat. Fortunately, both of them were stunned and didn't even think of screaming.

"never mind."

Eric's calm voice woke the woman sitting in the passenger seat. She couldn't suppress her excited emotions on the spot. She burst into tears and nodded quickly. She opened the passenger door and ran to the back. Then she quickly opened the back door and carried out her daughter, who looked confused but with a little enlightenment.

"thanks, thanks"

Listening to the woman's extremely suppressed crying voice, Eric glanced at her and the little girl who had been staring at him, revealing what he thought was the most gentle smile, then squatted down and rummaged through all of Chuck's pockets, finally pulling out a few banknotes.

"Remember to call the police."

Eric stood up and spoke to the woman and the little girl, unbuttoning his jacket that was wrapped in his right fist. He glanced at Chuck who was sleeping soundly on the ground and continued.

"If you want to eliminate all hidden dangers, it's best to move and cut off all contact with this man so that he can't find you."

Seeing the woman nod with tears and sweat on her face, Eric shook his jacket again to get rid of some small fragments, put them away with one hand, and walked towards the supermarket in full view of everyone.

In fact, he didn't need to explain, the enthusiastic people in the square had already taken out their mobile phones and called 911.

He walked past with an expressionless face, and everyone consciously made way for him.

When Eric walked into the supermarket, everything returned to normal. The people in the supermarket didn't know what was happening outside, they just felt that it seemed a little lively outside.

So Eric walked back into the supermarket, found his own cart next to the shelf near the checkout area, slowly lined up to check out, and then paid with the banknotes he had just received.

But when he walked out, a patrol car with red and blue lights and sirens blaring had already arrived at the scene.

The speed of this response only means that the patrol unit happened to be patrolling nearby.

In addition to some "enthusiastic people" watching the show in the square, two patrolmen had already communicated with the woman who was still holding the little girl in the parking lot.

Interestingly, these two patrolmen were not from the West Canyon Police Department, but they were people he knew.

"Should that be okay? I'm a really good guy, worthy of a certificate!"

Eric thought about it and wanted to leave quietly, preparing to walk towards where his car was parked, but he suddenly heard a very crisp and childish shout, which pierced into his ears like a thin thread.

"Uncle Superman!! That's him!! That's him!! Uncle Superman!!"

what the fuck?

Eric was a little confused and subconsciously looked in the direction of the sound. He saw the little girl in the woman's arms pointing at him excitedly and shouting, completely different from her previous confused look.

The two patrolmen standing next to them, their hands on their duty belts, had already looked over.

OK! There's no escape!
