Chapter 30 The Fierce Old Man
When he reached the courtyard wall outside the house, which was separated by color steel plates, he still didn't hear any gunshots.

But at this moment, he heard some noise and Eric leaned over to look, but the scene in front of him stunned him.

An old man with unsteady gait and white hair walked out of the Cooper's house mentioned by the first caller.

He was wearing an old plaid shirt with a slightly loose jacket on the outside. There were some stains and wear on the clothes, but more of them were bright red bloodstains.

Even his baggy jeans and slightly worn-out leather shoes were stained with blood.

Even the hair on his face, the gray beard, and the slightly red neck, which was almost as thick as his head, were covered in blood.

He also had a pistol in his hand.

SIG Sauer P365-380, the trigger resets quickly, which is conducive to rapid shooting and has low recoil.

These features allow the P365 to be easily controlled even in the hands of the elderly or women.

In other words, this pistol is suitable for people of the old man's age.

Just this scene really made Eric stunned for a moment, but he still leaned against the wall and leaned out.

Judging from the old man's reaction speed and the way he held the gun, Eric was sure that he could empty the magazine of the rifle before the old man raised the gun.

Eric leaned against the courtyard wall with only half of his body exposed. He raised his M4 and aimed at the old man standing at the door, shouting.

"LAPD!!! Drop the guns!!!!"

The old man was stunned for a moment. He didn't expect the police to come so quickly, but he seemed to have anticipated the police's arrival. He didn't look overly surprised by Eric's sudden appearance, nor did he look obviously scared.

There is only a kind of calmness.

Yes, a kind of calmness, this is what Eric felt. He narrowed his eyes slightly to ensure that the aiming line of the M4 was always firmly nailed to the old man's head.

"Put down the gun! Come on!!"

If the old man really wants to die, then he will send him off without any hesitation. In America, where people are free to carry guns, some old people are more dangerous than young people.

But fortunately, the old man just stared at him calmly, then dropped the SIG Sauer P365-380 in his hand.

"Child, calm down!"

Eric didn't answer. He leaned out of the wall and slowly approached the old man who was only seven or eight meters away with his gun in a high-ready posture.

"Put your hands up high and come down the stairs! Come on!"

"OK!" The old man cooperated and struggled to go down the stairs with his hands raised. However, looking at his posture of going down the stairs, it seemed quite strenuous. God knows how he broke into this house and harmed people.

This thought flashed through Eric's mind. The muzzle of the gun he held never left the old man's body. He said, "Come over here slowly!"

When they were only one or two meters away, Eric continued, "Get down on your knees."

The old man still did it, but a trace of pain appeared on his bloodstained face: "Sorry, child, I am eighty-one years old, and it is too difficult for me to do these movements."

Eric still didn't reply, but the old man's words caused his pupils to change slightly.

Eighty-one years old? Burglary at gunpoint? Those two words sounded so strange together.

"Hands behind your back."

Eric looked at the old man who was struggling to hold the gun in his right hand, and took out handcuffs from his belt with his left hand. He handcuffed the kneeling old man on the spot, and then he breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'm sorry, I have to do this." After being handcuffed by Eric, the old man looked at him seriously and said, "They have been bothering me for a long time." When Eric heard this, he knew there was some hidden story behind this, but he just controlled the old man in place.

"Whatever it is, you've already been charged. It's best not to do anything."

The old man smiled a little on his bloodstained face and looked back at Eric: "I know, kid, I can see you're a very powerful person, so I won't move."

"As long as you know."

Eric searched the old man to make sure he had no dangerous weapons. He then picked up the SIG Sauer P365-380 on the ground and put it into the evidence bag. He looked towards the room in front of him where there was no movement and said,

"So what did you do to them?"

The old man said in a very calm tone: "You can go in and take a look, but what I can tell you is that they deserve it."

Eric didn't hesitate and picked up the M4 rifle again and approached the house. When he reached the door, a strong smell of blood came out from inside.

With a slight twitch of his lips, Eric could tell that with such a strong smell of blood, the people inside were most likely dead.

Sure enough, when I walked in, I found the living room full of blood, and two bodies lying on the floor, no longer moving.

It is a man and a woman.

Eric put away his gun and glanced at the group photo on the wall. He could guess that the two people were most likely a couple or boyfriend and girlfriend.

Then look towards the living room.

The man's body fell in the kitchen. Judging from the bullet hole on his back that was still bleeding, the man must have run towards the kitchen when the old man entered the house with a pistol.

But what was unexpected was that the old man's shooting skills were really accurate. All five shots hit his back, and the bullet holes were all concentrated in a small circle.

This kind of shooting skill is not something that ordinary people can have. Although free America is a country with freedom of guns, many people are real novices.

"To reach this level, you need at least a lot of practice."

Eric grumbled to himself. Compared with his current shooting accuracy level 4 (mastery), the old man's shooting performance has reached the level of LV3 proficiency.

You know, the old man just said that he is eighty-one years old now?
This also means that when the old man was young, his marksmanship was definitely at the same LV4 proficiency level as his.

The mastery level is already very impressive. If not at the T1 level, it is at least at the T2 level.

"Who is that old man outside?" Eric then looked at the other body lying on the floor connecting the dining room and the living room.

Judging from the situation, it was a woman who called the police, so this body should be the identity of the second person who called the police.

But he had a question before, why the second person who called the police was not dead yet and was still alive to report the case.

Now we have the answer.

There were no bullet holes on the woman's body, except for a thumb-sized bullet hole on the back of her head where her face was lying on the ground.
It is conceivable that the wounds caused by the bullet's upward, downward, leftward and rightward swings caused by the bullet's physics when it passes through the body must be extremely horrific.

This is a more cruel form of execution.

Eric looked at the cell phone not far from the body. Because of his criminal profiling skill, which had reached level 3 (proficient), frame after frame of images appeared in his mind.

The woman was controlled by the old man, who asked her to kneel down. He slowly walked around behind the woman, put the muzzle of the gun against the back of her head, handed her a cell phone, and asked her to call the police.

After the woman called the police, the old man shot her directly. He definitely did it on purpose. No wonder he was so calm. He had been mentally prepared for a long time.
