Chapter 100 Emptying
Lunch lasted about three hours. Most of us hadn't seen each other for two or three years, so we had so much to talk about.

While we were eating, four or five more people came over one after another; they were classmates who had arrived late.

With each new person arriving, everyone has more topics to discuss.

A whole host of things from my student days are still vivid in my mind. Some of my classmates had drunk a bit too much and were helped into the inner room to rest.

Sun Kai's house in town is very large, with three floors and a row of bungalows outside. Initially, Sun Kai's family wanted to open a large restaurant, but for some reason, it didn't work out, and there are four or five vacant rooms.

Yan Hui and Liu Yu chatted quite a bit during their meal, and they seemed to get along quite well. Yan Hui recounted some of his interesting experiences. Not only Liu Yu, but also several other girls, including Liu Qiaoqiao, listened attentively.

Liu Yu put the gift in her pocket and went straight home.

As soon as Liu Yu left, the third brother came over and asked Yan Hui if he had succeeded. Yan Hui's emotions gradually calmed down, and he gently shook his head.

He sensed something was wrong. Liu Yu was too calm.

"Huh? It won't work? Sigh, there's nothing I can do then." The third brother shook his head. "Looks like you're in the same boat as the second brother. At least you're not shameful."

In modern terms, Liu Yu was Yan Hui's ideal woman.

Yan Hui had to get an answer from Liu Yu this time, no matter what. If it brought an end to the matter, then Yan Hui would accept it.

Next, the second brother also ran over and received the same answer. The three of them strolled around the door for a while and saw that the lunch party had ended, a bunch of people went to play cards, and some people were watching TV at Sun Kai's house.

The afternoon and evening seemed to fly by for Yan Hui. Even more students arrived in the evening than at noon, and the boys and girls were divided into two tables. At the boys' table, everyone except Yan Hui drank quite a bit; after dinner, Yan Hui carried them all into the room one by one.

In reality, Yan Hui's mind was never here. All afternoon, evening, and night, Yan Hui's mind was adrift in outer space.

My whole being was in a state of emptiness.
