American Horror Story: A Tale of Terror from Silent Hill
Chapter 26 Going out
Chapter 26 Going out
"Good! You know how to let go. It seems you've matured a lot."
Baling was relieved to hear that Alesha had given up her previous idea.
"What are your plans for the future? Are you going to stay in Silent Hill forever?"
Baling expressed his doubts.
Alyssa has avenged her great hatred and no longer craves Ross's motherly love. Will she continue to stay here as a stay-at-home girl?
Alesha smiled calmly, which made Baling's heart skip a beat and he had a bad feeling.
"Oh, aren't you still here?"
"We're real friends, right?"
"You'll stay here with me forever, right?"
Alyssa pulled up Baling who was lying on the ground, and looked at him silently with her obsidian eyes.
After assessing his own strength, Baling suppressed his rebellious and domineering thoughts and persuaded in a gentle tone:
"Alessa, we are indeed friends. But in life, all good things must come to an end. Everyone can only accompany you through a certain stage of your life."
"Now my mission is complete. Uncle Baling wants to help more and more children, spread love, and make the world a better place."
"Although I am reluctant to leave, I have my reasons."
At this point, Baling had no choice but to demonstrate his lofty beliefs and politely reject Alesha.
He said this with a resolute expression, waiting anxiously for Alyssa's answer.
"Hee hee hee!"
Alyssa smiled, an innocent smile.
Shit, she must have been hit hard, right?
Baling couldn't understand the meaning of the laughter at this time, and he just felt uneasy.
However, staying in one place for a long time, without the internet and without communication, is boring day after day.
That's no different from being in jail.
Before, he just wanted to survive, but now, he wants to live a better and more exciting life.
"Baling, haven't you realized that you are no longer human?" Alyssa looked at Baling with a strange look.
"Ah, I know this. What's wrong with it being a non-human?" Baling also noticed that something seemed to be wrong.
He decided to change his approach.
"The world out there is wonderful and tolerant. It can allow a person to be a supermarket plastic bag or a helicopter gunship."
"As for us, we are just people whose gender is either undead or scarecrow. Don't worry about other people's strange looks."
"Alessa, we can all face reality and live our lives again. The hatred of the past has been resolved, and looking to the future is the most important thing."
“Don’t let your heart be bound.”
Alyssa's eyes became more and more strange.
"Have you not tried to walk out of the inner and outer space exit of Silent Hill to see if you can really return to the real Silent Hill?"
"No."
"No wonder." Alyssa suddenly realized.
"Come on! Follow me."
Alyssa took Baling's hand, took a step forward, and the two of them teleported to the border of Silent Hill.
The entrance and exit of Silent Hill is right at the broken bridge.
The white fog is vast.
Baling had initially mastered the authority and could naturally tell which place was the exit.
Without a doubt, it is right in front of us.
Just one step outside and you can leave and go to the real world.
Is it really that simple?
Baling licked his dry lips, feeling a little nervous.
"Will you leave?"
Alesha whispered.
"I'm leaving."
Baling did not hesitate and walked straight forward.
Then, in a blink, his eyes saw the afterglow of the setting sun.
Real sunlight was shining on him. Just as he was about to feel it more carefully, the space around him suddenly produced an extremely strong repulsive force, and at the same time, an irresistible attraction was pulling him.
The next moment, he was back in the world of Silent Hill covered in white fog.
He looked back and saw Alesha standing there calmly, seemingly not surprised at all.
Baling didn't believe it and charged again.
The figure disappears.
Less than half a second.
The figure reappeared.
After repeating this several times, Baling finally gave in.
He found the source of attraction, which was Silent Hill.
And that repulsive force came from the real world, where he was rejected.
Why?
Baling was puzzled.
It's impossible!
Could it be...
Baling turned around thoughtfully and looked straight at Alesha, waiting for an explanation, or rather, an answer.
"You already understand." Alessa said calmly, "The greater the power, the greater the limitations."
"The more powerful the aliens are, especially the souls returning from Hell, the more difficult it is for them to return to the human world."
"If there is no compatible body or a suitable habitat, you will be deported in a matter of minutes."
"Even if you force yourself to come to reality, not only will your strength be suppressed, but even staying here will be rejected."
"Because that is the world of the living, not a place where the dead should linger."
Alessa explained sentence by sentence, much of this knowledge she had heard from the devil.
How, how could this happen!
Baling felt a chill in his heart when he heard this. Was his ambition going to crash at the speed of light before it could be realized?
No, absolutely not!
Baling refused to give up and pressed on, "I have an opponent, someone I know in Hell. He's been back to the human world before, and he doesn't have a physical body, but I heard he's won the resurrection match several times."
Alesha took a quick glance and asked, "So what's so special about your opponent?"
"He kills people in his dreams."
"The dream world is a suitable environment for him, just like Silent Hill is for us."
Alessa delivered the final blow: "You were born from Silent Hill. Before I returned, you deepened your connection with it. We are all bound to it."
"I haven't really been out in these years, so don't think too much about it."
"Go home early and go to bed early."
Yeah!
I, I was wrong.
All the gifts bestowed by fate have already been secretly marked with a price.
Sure enough, the increase in strength comes at a price.
After just a few words, Baling figured out the whole story and suddenly felt sad.
The withered straw face became more and more haggard invisibly.
"Is it possible that my only connection with the outside world will only be that glimpse?"
Baling turned around, looked as far as he could into the foggy distance, and let out a long sigh.
His lost back seemed to be stretched very long.
……
More than ten days later.
Alyssa took the initiative to find Baling, who was having an attack on Yuyu.
Seeing that Baling was still listless, she said:
"Actually, I have a method that will allow you to try to go to the outside world."
"However, this requires a certain cost and a certain amount of time, and there is only a probability of success."
"Would you like to try it?"
"Really?" Baling was greatly encouraged. He eagerly shook Alyssa's hand and said excitedly, "I'm willing to do that. It doesn't matter if I fail. I can try a few more times."
