Chapter 15: The Alchemist and the Devil Girl's First Meeting (Part 1)

Late at night, a truck from Brudhaven slowly drove into the industrial area west of Nashino City. Only the sound of the truck's engine echoed in the silent streets.

"Xiao Ke, I didn't expect you to get an extra item. Since you've exceeded the mission target this time, the boss should give us a little more reward, right?"

A truck slowly drove into a warehouse in the West City Industrial Park and parked side by side with the truck that had arrived in front. Shock and Henrik jumped out of the car and, together with other gangsters, drove the children in the car into a special iron cage.

"Are all the goods ready?"

Sitting on a leather sofa, the boss of the Shadow Gang was holding a glass of red wine in his hand, shaking it gently, while several confidants stood beside him, reporting something in a low voice. Seeing Henrik and Shock coming over, the boss raised his eyes and asked lightly.

"All ready, Boss. There's one extra one. We brought it along on the way."

Hearing his boss's question, Henrik stepped forward and quickly answered with a flattering tone.

"Well done! After this batch of goods is delivered, your reward will not be small."

Nodding gently, the Shadow Gang leader's gaze swept across the densely packed iron cages in the warehouse. The children huddled together, their eyes filled with fear. He took a sip of red wine and spoke calmly. From the high side windows outside the warehouse, Isaac, hidden by the shadows, had a full view of the situation. His vision suddenly sharpened. Looking at the imprisoned children, his fists clenched slightly, and anger surged from his heart.

"Smartphone, record their crimes, and call the police immediately after I've dealt with them!"

Isaac withdrew his gaze from the imprisoned children and returned to the gangsters. After noticing that they had all stood in front of the gang boss, as if receiving a lecture from him, he knew that he had to prepare for action.

After whispering something to Kimi on his smartphone, Isaac took a deep breath, kicked off with his feet, and broke through the window like lightning, landing steadily on the warehouse work path.

The sound of shattering glass immediately attracted the attention of the gangsters in the warehouse. Startled by the sudden noise, they subconsciously drew their weapons and looked vigilantly in the direction of Isaac.

But before they could react, Isaac leaped up and landed in the crowd, his fists and feet as fast as the wind, knocking down every enemy with precision.

At this moment, his movements were as fast as a ghost. The gangsters didn't even have a chance to resist. They fell to the ground one after another like paper.

Seeing this, the Shadow Gang boss's face darkened. He stood up suddenly, took out a pistol from his arms, pointed it at Isaac and pulled the trigger. The bullet whizzed out, but was easily avoided by Isaac.

With a flash, Isaac escaped from the encirclement of only a dozen gangsters, and instantly appeared in front of the Shadow Gang boss. He punched him in the abdomen. With a muffled groan, the gun in the Shadow Gang boss's hand fell to the ground, and the whole person collapsed.

Under Isaac's serious attack, the battle ended quickly. A moment later, only the unconscious gangsters and the terrified children in the iron cages were left in the warehouse.

He was not in a hurry to rescue the children. Having learned from the experience of his predecessors, he chose to be cautious. His eyes quickly scanned the warehouse and finally stopped on the truck's compartment.

Walking quickly to the side of the truck, Isaac stretched out his palm and placed it on the truck, muttering an alchemical spell. A faint blue light spread out from his palm, gradually enveloping the entire truck.

As Isaac thought about it, the carriage gradually turned into steel bars. Under his control, they tied the hands and feet of the unconscious gangsters together like snakes.

Walking to an iron cage, Isaac casually pulled off the lock and opened the door to let the children out, but to his surprise, in response to his actions, the children in the cage all retreated and a group of them shrank into the corner of the cage.

Seeing the vigilance and fear in the children's eyes, Isaac's outstretched hand froze in mid-air. He glanced at the children in several cages nearby and noticed that they were looking at him with the same eyes.
