Chapter 13 Qingtian Hunting House
"Since you have joined our Qingtian Hunting House, this place is half your home. If you have no place to stay in Modu, you can live here. There is a separate room upstairs." Old Man Bao looked at Su Chi who was covered with bags of all sizes and couldn't help but speak.

When Su Chi heard this, he thought that was a great idea, as it would save him from having to rent a house outside.

"Then I'll trouble you, President."

"Come on, follow me upstairs to see your future room. By the way, I'll tell you about some of the facilities in our hunting ground." Old Man Bao called Su Chi to follow.

Coming to the second floor, it looks like a library with many books.

"This floor contains various materials and ancient books that our hunting ground has collected over the years. You can come up and take a look when you are free to enrich your own knowledge." Old Man Bao walked in front and slowly explained to Su Chi.

After visiting the second floor, the two continued to walk up.

"The third floor is where Lingling, Leng Qing and I live, so you can't go in unless there are special circumstances. By the way, Lingling and Leng Qing are both my granddaughters."

Su Chi nodded to indicate that he remembered it.

On the fourth floor, there are several small rooms.

"The fourth floor is occupied by your senior brothers. They occasionally come here to stay for a few days when they don't have any missions." Then Old Man Bao took Su Chi to a small room at the innermost part of the fourth floor.

"This room is where you'll be staying. I just had it cleaned a few days ago. You can move in directly."

Su Chi looked at the small room in front of him. The room was not big, about 20 square meters. There was a single bed and a large window. Next to the window was a wooden table and a rattan chair. There was also a private bathroom at the door of the room.

Small but complete.

After Old Man Bao brought Su Chi to the room, he went downstairs. Su Chi took off the various backpacks on his body and began to pack up his future small home in Shanghai.

The reason why I didn't put these things into the space ring was because I was afraid of trouble. Anyway, they were not important items, so there was no need to expose the existence of the ring for such a trivial matter.

Time passed slowly.

After tidying up the room, Su Chi took a shower and then had a good sleep in the room.

He chatted with Mo Fan and Zhang Xiaohou until very late last night, and got up early in the morning to catch the train, so he basically didn't sleep at all.

Not long after taking a shower, Su Chi felt very sleepy and fell asleep soon after lying on the bed.

While Su Chi was tidying up the room, Old Man Bao returned to the first floor, sat on the rattan chair at the door, and made a phone call to someone.

Not long after Su Chi fell asleep, the phone rang again.

"Grandpa, I just found out. I happen to have a friend in Bo City. Junior brother used to be her student. However, she didn't know about his natural talent. It seems that he hid it very well before, even hiding it from the teachers at school." A female voice with a somewhat cold tone came from the other end of the phone.

"I understand. No need to investigate further." Old Man Bao flicked the pipe in his hand and then changed the subject: "Girl, this mission is taking a while."

"The net will be closed soon. I should be able to rest for a while after this mission."

"Then grandpa won't bother you for now."

After hanging up the phone, Old Man Bao exhaled a puff of smoke, looked at the sun hanging above his head, and remained silent for a long time.

What an interesting boy.

When I woke up, it was almost evening.

Su Chi went to the bathroom in a daze and washed his face to wake himself up.

When Su Chi arrived at the first floor, he saw a young girl with twin ponytails sitting on a high stool in front of the bar, browsing on a tablet. "Young man, are you awake?" Old Man Bao, who was sitting nearby, greeted Su Chi with a smile when he saw him coming down.

"President, just call me by my name. Su Chi or Xiao Chi are all fine." Su Chi said to Old Man Bao.

"Grandpa, when did our hunting ground become a shelter for minors?" Little girl Lingling glanced at Su Chi, then said dissatisfiedly to the old man Bao beside her.

When Su Chi heard this, the corner of his mouth twitched. As expected of you, Lingling, you have a poisonous tongue.

"Lingling, don't judge a person by his appearance. Su Chi is quite capable and has become a mid-level mage at such a young age. You can take him on some simple commissioned tasks first."

Old Man Bao still had that cheerful look on his face. He then turned to Su Chi and said, "Our Qingtian Hunting Agency's commissions are usually completed by one person or two people. Since you're new here and have no experience, Lingling will guide you for now."

"Wait." Su Chi said quickly: "President, do you want me to take this little girl with me to complete the commission?"

Su Chi showed a surprised expression as if to say, "Did I hear it right?"

Lingling, who was standing by, became anxious when she saw Su Chi's expression. "I'm the one who brought a rookie like you to do the mission. Thank you."

Then he pulled a badge from his pocket.

Su Chi took a closer look and exclaimed, "Master Hunter? Is this true?"

"Hmph, you guy. I won't take you with me!" Lingling turned her head away and ignored Su Chi.

Seeing Su Chi's gaze on him, Old Man Bao, standing nearby, said he would no longer get involved. "Your fellow apprentices all have fixed partners. Right now, Lingling is the only one available to team up with you in the hunting lodge. If you can complete the commission on your own, I have no objection."

When Su Chi heard this, he couldn't help but sigh.

Hey~
It is impossible to accept commissions and complete tasks alone. Although the pay is high, it is too tiring.

He also felt that if he had to handle some reasoning cases alone, it might overload his brain.

It's better to coax this little girl. After all, it will be much easier to complete the mission with her. I just need to fight and don't have to think about anything else.

After all, the term "external brain" is no joke.

"Lingling, I was wrong just now. I apologize to you. You are so gentle, kind, beautiful and generous. You will definitely forgive me, right?" Su Chi raised his butt and sat next to Lingling. He put his head over and started to coax the child.

"Stop, stop, stop! I forgive you." The little girl blushed a little after being praised by Su Chi.

"Then let's get to know each other again. My name is Su Chi, and I will be your partner from now on." Su Chi stretched out his hand towards the little girl.

"My name is Leng Lingling."

Old Man Bao watched this scene happily and nodded secretly.

"Let's go, it's almost time for dinner, Xiaochi, you should come and eat too."

Su Chi's eyes lit up, and he was a little hungry too.

"President, the treatment at our hunting lodge is pretty good. They provide food and accommodation. It's really great."

Old Man Bao paused for a moment while holding his pipe, then said quietly, "I forgot to mention this if you hadn't mentioned it. Your rent and meal expenses will be deducted from your commission."

"No, President, I'm still a student!!"
