Double penetration: This Three Kingdoms has dragon energy
Chapter 36 Xiping Stone Classics
Chapter 36 Xiping Stone Classics
Qianjin Hall, a place quite famous in history.
Legend has it that all the money that Emperor Ling of Han, Liu Hong, earned from selling official positions and titles was hidden here.
He used the money to establish the Northern Army, and then relied on the Northern Army to seize real power in Luoyang, becoming one of the few emperors with real power in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.
If Liu Hong had been given more time, perhaps he could have reversed the decline of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
But unfortunately, Liu Hong died shortly after the Northern Army was established.
What followed was Dong Zhuo's entry into the capital and the dethronement and enthronement of the emperor.
Most of the Northern Army troops that Liu Hong had painstakingly established eventually fell into the hands of Dong Zhuo, and a small part was taken away by Yuan Shu.
Why was Yuan Shu so powerful in the early days of the feudal lords?
It was because he divided up part of the Northern Army.
This was a complete dimensionality reduction attack on the newly established troops of other princes.
It’s a pity that Yuan Shu himself was too useless and played a good hand of cards badly.
Even though he had a great start, he still ended up dying without a burial place.
The Qianjin Hall in the world of Longqi Three Kingdoms has a similar positioning to the Qianjin Hall in the historical Three Kingdoms.
It was also the place where Liu Hong stored his money.
But the difference is that there is not only a huge amount of money here, but also a large number of secret techniques.
After all, in the Dragon Qi Three Kingdoms, the Dragon Qi secret art is the primary productive force!
Ji Qiu followed Shi A into Qianjin Hall, and the first thing he saw was forty-six huge stone tablets.
Each stone tablet is three meters high and ten meters wide, and is densely carved with inscriptions.
Many Confucian scholars sat in front of the stone tablet, writing furiously and copying the inscription.
"Is this... the Xiping Stone Classics?" Ji Qiu's heart moved and he suddenly asked.
Shi A smiled and said, "Master Ji, you are very knowledgeable. This is the Xiping Stone Classics!"
In normal history, the Xiping Stone Classics is the earliest official Confucian stone classics.
In the fourth year of Xiping reign of Emperor Ling of Han, counselor Cai Yong and others petitioned to rectify the texts of the Six Classics, and Emperor Ling granted their permission.
Therefore, the scriptures in various scripts were compared and written on stone by Cai Yong and others, and forty-six steles were engraved and placed in front of the lecture hall of the Imperial College outside Kaiyang Gate in the south of Luoyang City.
The stele is about ten feet high and four feet wide.
The engraved scriptures include "The Book of Changes", "The Book of History", "The Book of Songs of Lu", "The Book of Rites", "The Spring and Autumn Annals", "The Gongyang Commentary" and "The Analects of Confucius".
Except for "The Analects of Confucius", all others were established by the academic officials at that time.
The stone classics are mainly based on one version, but each version has its own annotations, and the differences and similarities between the various versions established by the academic officials are listed at the end.
The annotations of the three classics, Yi, Shu, and Li, are no longer extant and cannot be verified.
The Book of Songs uses the Lu version of poetry, which has different characters from the Qi and Han dynasties.
The Gongyang Commentary uses the Yan version, which has different characters from the Yan version.
The Analects of Confucius uses a certain version, which has different characters such as "he", "mao", "bao" and "zhou".
A total of about 200,911 words.
This played a positive role in correcting the vulgar scholars' far-fetched interpretations and fabricated typos and in maintaining the unity of the writing system.
There are also Xiping Stone Classics in Longqi Three Kingdoms.
The Xiping Stone Classics here also record the "Book of Changes", "Book of History", "Book of Songs", "Book of Rites", "Spring and Autumn Annals", "Gongyang Zhuan" and "The Analects of Confucius".
However, the role of these seven classics in the Dragon Qi Three Kingdoms is completely different from that in the historical Three Kingdoms.
These seven classics are all acquired secret techniques!
Moreover, unlike ordinary acquired secret arts, practicing these seven classics does not require special resources, only unique talents.
For example, to practice Zhouyi, one needs the talent of seeing the big picture from the details; to practice Shangshu, one needs the talent of a historian's discerning eye; to practice Lushi, one needs the talent of natural musical sense; to practice Yili, one needs the talent of deep understanding of Zhouli; to practice Chunqiu and Gongyang Zhuan, one needs the talent of profound meaning in words; to practice Analects, one needs the talent of a benevolent heart!
As long as you have talent, you can make rapid progress without any resources.
Of course, there are not many people who possess these talents, one in ten thousand!
This is why the seven classics were carved and widely displayed. The court hoped to use this method to select talents from humble backgrounds.
For scholars from poor families all over the world, being able to master the secret techniques in the Xiping Stone Classics is undoubtedly the best way to turn their lives around.
"Can you give me some time to look at the Xiping Stone Classics?" Ji Qiu asked.
Shi Adao: "Of course, please do as you please, sir!"
He was no longer surprised by this. Anyone who came to Qianjin Hall for the first time would go forward to look at the Xiping Stone Classics.
Even children from aristocratic families are no exception.
Many scholars traveled thousands of miles to Luoyang just to copy the Xiping Stone Classics.
Although there are many people who copy and read it, those who are truly qualified and able to practice it are rare.
In a sense, talent is more important than resources.
If you don’t have resources, at least you can find a way.
But without talent, there is really no way!
Ji Qiu walked to the front of the Xiping Stone Classics and read the text on it carefully.
There was no touch in my heart.
As expected, he had no talent for cultivating any of the sutras...
However, Ji Qiu did not give up. He was about to go to Taishan County to govern.
Even if he doesn't have the talent to practice the Seven Classics, don't the people under his rule have it either?
Even if it is only one in ten thousand, as long as the base is large enough, you can always find a lot of them.
Maybe he is not suitable for practicing the Seven Classics, but these Seven Classics can be used to select geniuses from the people.
So Ji Qiu secretly took out his cell phone and started clicking at the Xiping Stele. He took photos of all forty-six steles and saved them.
Then he returned to Shi A and said, "Okay, you can go now."
"So fast? Looks like another untalented person!"
Shi A didn't pay attention to Ji Qiu's cell phone. He just shook his head secretly in his heart, then took Ji Qiu around the Xiping Stone Classics and continued to walk inside.
And inside is the real Qianjin Hall!
It is surrounded by tall palace walls, the top of which is covered with golden glazed tiles, shining majestically in the sun.
The gate is vermilion and inlaid with rows of golden door nails, highlighting the royal nobility.
Walking through the gate, there is a spacious courtyard with the ground paved with smooth bluestone slabs. In the center of the courtyard stands a huge bronze tripod with smoke rising from it.
The courtyard is surrounded by corridors, and the columns are carved with exquisite dragon and phoenix patterns, which are lifelike.
Walking along the corridor, we soon saw three palaces, all of which were tall and magnificent, with flying eaves and brackets, and were majestic.
The plaque on the left palace reads "Qian Palace", the plaque on the right palace reads "Liang Palace", and the plaque on the middle palace reads "Shu Palace".
No explanation was needed, Ji Qiu also knew the function of these three palaces.
The Money Hall stores money, the Grain Hall stores various rare resources, and the Art Hall stores the secret dragon energy techniques!
Unfortunately, every palace was covered by a golden light curtain.
This is a secret sealing technique that has the effect of sealing off space.
Ji Qiu's idea of using the space-time gate to empty the three palaces was dashed.
Shi A took Ji Qiu to the magic hall in the middle, pushed open the door, and immediately saw rows of tall bookshelves neatly arranged, with various scrolls placed on them, densely packed with hundreds of them.
