Double penetration: This Three Kingdoms has dragon energy
Chapter 175 Qingzhou University
Chapter 175 Qingzhou University
Ji Qiu opened the portal and stepped out, arriving at a vast complex of buildings.
This complex of buildings is Qingzhou University, which was recently built.
The entire Qingzhou University was built on the foundation of Moshan Academy.
In fact, Ji Qiu originally did not intend to build Qingzhou University based on Moshan Academy.
This was, after all, Zheng Xuan's private property, and Zheng Xuan was the first person to surrender an entire prefecture.
Even if he was willing to spend a fortune to buy a horse's bones, he couldn't go too far.
His initial idea was to rebuild a higher-level Moshan Academy to serve as Qingzhou University.
The original Moshan Academy was left to Zheng Xuan and could serve as a private school for the Zheng family.
But ideals are full, and reality is skinny.
After careful investigation, he realized that rebuilding Moshan Academy was no easy task.
The amount of dragon energy materials needed to build Moshan Academy is simply too much. Even though Ji Qiu now has the ability to manufacture nearly five hundred kinds of dragon energy materials, he still cannot build Moshan Academy.
Even two-thirds of the Moshan Academy could not be built.
To build a complete version of Moshan Academy, 888 kinds of dragon energy materials are needed!
I really don't know how the Zheng family managed to build the Moshan Academy back then; it was an impossible task!
Let alone the Zheng family of Pingyuan, which is only a middle-class family outside the city, even the Yuan family, a top family outside the city, may not have this kind of strength!
Zheng Xuan replied that Moshan Academy was not built by the Zheng family, but appeared suddenly.
At that time, Zheng Xuan was comprehending the Dao in Moshan and broke through to become a first-rank peak scholar.
Then the heavens and earth trembled, and a huge crack suddenly appeared in the Ink Mountain, from which the Ink Mountain Academy emerged...
When Ji Qiu heard this answer, his expression was like this: Σ(д|||)
Although he was incredibly shocked, Ji Qiu was not entirely unable to understand.
In fact, he had already discovered that the land of Kyushu was extraordinary.
With the Heavenly Court and the Witch and Demon races outside the Nine Provinces eyeing them covetously, would the ancient sages of the human race within the Nine Provinces simply sit idly by and wait for their doom?
There must be many backup plans.
It's obvious that this Moshan Academy is probably one of their backup plans!
This left Ji Qiu with mixed feelings, a mixture of joy and worry.
The joy stems from the fact that the current situation of the human race in Kyushu is extremely dire.
However, thanks to the contingency plans left by the ancient sages of humanity, this situation can be alleviated.
Although the situation is still beyond saving, at least we can finally catch our breath.
The concern stems from the fact that since the ancient sages of the human race were able to leave behind contingency plans, the strength of the aristocratic families within the Nine Provinces Barrier is likely far greater than it appears now.
His earlier strategy of building high walls, stockpiling grain, and delaying the declaration of kingship proved to be correct.
To continue this effort, we must possess even greater strength to defeat all enemies and unify the Nine Provinces.
Since this Moshan Academy is a legacy left by the ancient sages of the human race, and not the private property of the Zheng family.
At the same time, Ji Qiu did not have the capacity to build the Moshan Academy.
Ji Qiu was not one to be pretentious; he immediately adopted the "take what you need" approach and brought Moshan Academy under his own control.
This is also why Qingzhou University was able to be built so quickly.
After all, even if Ji Qiu has the ability to build the Moshan Academy independently.
However, the speed of rebuilding a Moshan Academy is certainly not as fast as the speed of renovating the existing Moshan Academy.
The newly established Qingzhou University continues the consistent style of other buildings in Beihai New City.
It still blends the architectural styles of the modern world with those of the Three Kingdoms era.
At the very center of the college stands a large auditorium.
The exterior is based on off-white concrete, and the walls are inlaid with 3D-printed replicas of Han Dynasty portrait stone patterns. The ancient patterns depicting hunting, banquets, music and dance gleam with a warm luster under the sunlight, forming a sharp contrast with the smooth lines of modern architecture.
The roof adopts the hip roof style popular in the late Han Dynasty, but is made of lightweight metal materials. The bluish-gray glazed tiles are neatly arranged, the eaves are slightly upturned, and a simple bronze wind chime hangs there. When the wind blows, the tinkling sound seems to carry the lingering charm of the late Han Dynasty.
Above the main entrance, a huge transparent display screen continuously plays famous quotes from ancient Han Dynasty texts. The screen's frame is decorated with the gold and silver inlay technique popular in the Han Dynasty, with gold and silver threads outlining cloud patterns and auspicious designs, showcasing its magnificence and elegance.
Stepping inside the auditorium, the high ceilings are complemented by a dougong (bracket set) structure in the style of the late Han Dynasty. These dougong are made of aluminum alloy and are carved with exquisite coiled dragon patterns, preserving the charm of traditional architecture while showcasing the ingenuity of modern technology.
The central chandelier is particularly eye-catching. Its design is inspired by the bronze sparrow lamp from the late Han Dynasty. It is made of alloy and its shape resembles a divine sparrow about to take flight. The sparrow's body is inlaid with replicas of Han Dynasty glass, and the light shines through the glass, emitting a soft glow that illuminates the entire hall.
The stage backdrop features the "Longevity and Prosperity for Descendants" pattern from late Han Dynasty brocade, presented on an LED screen with vibrant colors and a dynamic feel.
The seats in the audience area are made of dark brown imitation wood, with simplified Han Dynasty tile patterns carved on the backrests, such as "Eternal Happiness" and "Long Live the Emperor," allowing every seated person to feel the influence of the late Han Dynasty culture.
The courtyard landscape surrounding the auditorium also cleverly blends modern and late Han Dynasty elements.
In front of the gate lies a spacious plaza paved with black and white granite, forming a "nine-square grid" pattern popular in the late Han Dynasty. At the center of the plaza stands a sundial in a modern art style, its dial engraved with Han Dynasty time markings, and its pointer an abstract Han Dynasty writing brush. Neat rows of pine and cypress trees line both sides of the plaza, beneath which are simply designed stone benches, their surfaces carved with images of the "Four Auspicious Beasts" of the late Han Dynasty—the Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise.
Behind the auditorium lies a tranquil pond, in the center of which stands a circular pavilion with a pyramidal roof design reminiscent of the late Han Dynasty. The pavilion is surrounded by transparent glass railings, reflecting the auditorium's silhouette in the pond. This, along with the Han Dynasty-style lotus lanterns floating on the water, creates a unique ambiance that blends the ancient and the modern.
The main function of this auditorium is to host various celebrations and lectures.
The first college entrance examination of the Jiqiu Power will also be held here.
Surrounding the main hall are six functional areas.
The first five functional areas are administration, military, industry, agriculture, and medical college, which are used to train corresponding talents.
The Administrative College area is designed based on the "Prime Minister's Residence," an official government office at the end of the Han Dynasty, and uses modern steel structures to create a courtyard layout with a central axis of symmetry.
The main building is covered with a light gray imitation Han Dynasty brick curtain wall, and the wall surface is laser-engraved with a map of the bureaucratic system at the end of the Han Dynasty and famous quotes from the Book of Han.
The plaque hanging above the main entrance, inscribed with the words "The Pivot to Governance," is written in Han Dynasty clerical script and is paired with a smart sensor door and a bronze-textured electronic display board.
The interior office adopts the spatial concept of "round sky and square earth", with a replica of the Han Dynasty star map inlaid in the dome and smart floor tiles engraved with the map of the nine provinces on the ground.
The conference room tables and chairs are made of walnut wood, with the Han Dynasty characters "Loyalty, Filial Piety, Integrity, and Shame" carved on the chair backs. In the corner is a bronze "Xiezhi" sculpture that incorporates modern craftsmanship, symbolizing administrative fairness and also implying AI monitoring functions.
Military Academy Area: The overall layout imitates the "camp" style of the late Han Dynasty. The outer perimeter is made of simulated rammed earth walls with carbon fiber protective layers. The top of the walls is equipped with a model of a modern crossbow that can be raised and lowered, as well as a drone take-off and landing platform.
The main building resembles a Han Dynasty "tower" and adopts a modular metal structure. The exterior is covered with camouflage netting and simulated thatch, and LED screens with patterns of bamboo slips from the late Han Dynasty military strategy are embedded in the hidden parts.
Inside the training ground, traditional archery has been transformed into a laser archery system, with targets engraved with portraits of famous generals from the late Han Dynasty.
Inside the "Military Strategy Simulation Room," a holographic projection transforms the "Illusory and Real" chapter of "The Art of War" into a three-dimensional battlefield model. Trainees can experience classic historical battles through VR devices. The seats are designed in the simplified form of Han Dynasty chariots, and tactical data terminals are installed on the armrests.
Industrial College Area: Inspired by the official residence of the "General of the Imperial Workshop" at the end of the Han Dynasty, the building's exterior combines rusted steel plates with transparent glass to simulate the vicissitudes of a Han Dynasty iron smelting workshop.
At the entrance stands a giant bronze gear sculpture, with gear patterns replicated from a Han Dynasty waterwheel model. Combined with an intelligent lighting system, it projects images and text from the "Kaogongji" (Record of Trades) on "the craft of metalworking" at night.
Inside the laboratory, replicas of Han Dynasty bronze artifacts are displayed next to the 3D printing equipment. The smelting furnace uses electromagnetic induction technology but retains the shape of the "tuoyue" bellows device from the Han Dynasty.
In the center of the "Intelligent Manufacturing Museum," an intelligent model that integrates the principles of the Han Dynasty's south-pointing chariot with modern navigation technology is in continuous operation. Around it, display cases use magnetic levitation technology to show a comparison chart of Han Dynasty agricultural tools and modern industrial parts.
Agricultural College Area: To create an ecological park that blends the "late Han Dynasty countryside" with modern agricultural technology.
The building complex adopts the "fortified village" style of the Han Dynasty, with rammed earth walls and photovoltaic panel roofs. Replicas of Han Dynasty agricultural tools such as plows and seed drills are hung under the eaves, and the exterior walls are collaged with crop seeds to form agricultural illustrations from the "Book of Fan Shengzhi".
In the experimental field, the traditional "district field method" and the intelligent drip irrigation system coexist, cultivating the "Jiahe" recorded at the end of the Han Dynasty and modern improved crops.
Inside the "Sericulture Culture Museum," a transparent greenhouse displays a comparison between Han Dynasty sericulture techniques and gene-edited silkworms. The central exhibition stand uses holographic projection to recreate the legend of "Leizu teaching people to raise silkworms." The display cases showcase fragments of Han Dynasty silk and modern nano-textile materials.
The School of Medicine area is designed based on the "Imperial Medical Bureau" of the late Han Dynasty. The buildings are laid out in a "回" shape. The central courtyard replicates the "Herbal Garden" of the Han Dynasty, which is planted with hundreds of herbs recorded in the "Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica" and is equipped with modern intelligent greenhouses and spectral analysis equipment.
The exterior walls of the main building are inlaid with slices of Chinese medicinal herbs to form a giant mural, showcasing the medical achievements of the late Han Dynasty, such as Hua Tuo's "Mafeisan" and Zhang Zhongjing's "Jingfang". The bronze sculpture at the entrance combines the shape of a "needling person" from the Han Dynasty with the shape of modern medical imaging equipment.
In the pharmacology laboratory, antique-style medicine cabinets stand side by side with high-performance liquid chromatographs, and the traditional Chinese medicine processing area recreates the "Seventeen Methods of Processing and Roasting" from the Han Dynasty, combined with temperature-controlled stir-frying equipment.
Inside the "Medical History Wisdom Hall," AR technology brings to life the text of "Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases" by Zhang Zhongjing, a famous physician of the Han Dynasty, creating a cross-temporal dialogue with modern medical textbooks.
Ji Qiu currently envisions Qingzhou University as a comprehensive university.
Of course, the main reason is that he currently only has one Moshan Academy, so he can only place all the high-end talents he wants to cultivate here.
Once we have the ability to build the Moshan Academy independently in the future, we will naturally separate the existing five colleges and establish them as a dedicated university.
As for the last of the six functional areas, it is naturally the rest and living area.
This space is designed based on the "post station gardens" of the late Han Dynasty, fusing the "rest and relaxation culture" of the Han Dynasty with modern leisure needs into a poetic space.
The entire area is connected by a winding "winding stream" water system, linking five groups of Han-style buildings. It has both the elegance of "a cup of fine wine worth ten thousand coins" and the modern comfort of "returning to nature".
The "Welcoming the Sun Pavilion" at the entrance is a steel structure modeled after the "log cabin" architecture of the Han Dynasty. The pavilion roof is covered with photovoltaic tiles, which absorb energy during the day and project the light and shadow of "Eternal Happiness" through the tile patterns at night.
The main leisure building, "Linbo Pavilion," uses a glass curtain wall to simulate the "gauze curtain" of the Han Dynasty, and the exterior wall is laser-engraved with verses from the "Nineteen Ancient Poems."
The sofas in the room are based on the Han Dynasty "ta" and are paired with temperature-adjustable carbon fiber cushions. The backrests are inlaid with replicas of Han Dynasty portrait bricks that are magnetically levitated, and the patterns change with touch to depict scenes such as "banquet" and "music and dance".
The bar counter in the "Dukangfang" dining area is designed in the shape of a "zun" from the Han Dynasty and has a built-in intelligent cocktail system. The background wall of the bar counter is a variation of the Han Dynasty style of "Han Xizai's Night Banquet" made of thousands of slices of Chinese medicinal herbs, and it emits a faint herbal fragrance under the lights.
The central courtyard is centered around the "Five Elements Pond". The circular pond is planted with plants recorded in late Han Dynasty classics according to the five elements: mulberry in the west (corresponding to metal), peach in the east (corresponding to wood), a spring in the center (corresponding to water), red photinia in the south (corresponding to fire), and mugwort in the north (corresponding to earth). The bottom of the pond is made of fluorescent glass to spell out the "Four Gods" pattern from the Han Dynasty, which sways with the water at night as if divine birds are swimming.
The walkway surrounding the pool is paved with bluestone slabs engraved with the radicals of the Shuowen Jiezi (a Chinese dictionary). Each slab is a pressure sensor, and when a pedestrian walks over it, the corresponding Chinese character explanation will light up.
The "Xiaotai" on the northwest side is a sunken open-air theater with steps that imitate the "altar steps" of the Han Dynasty. The stage backdrop is a retractable LED gauze screen that can play videos of music and dance from the late Han Dynasty and also serve as a movie screen. The audience seats are designed in the folding shape of the "Hu bed" of the Han Dynasty and have built-in wireless charging function.
The "Pitch-pot Fun Zone" upgrades the traditional pitch-pot game to a laser sensing system. The bronze pot has a built-in pressure sensor, and when an arrow hits different areas, it will trigger a recitation of the original text of "Pitch-pot" from the Book of Rites.
The "desktop offering corner" features an incense burner incorporating the design of a Han Dynasty "Boshan incense burner." Students can use a mobile app to select late Han Dynasty spices such as "agarwood" and "borneol" and then use AR glasses to view a virtual scene of "Boshan incense burner generating clouds."
The most ingenious feature is the "Floating Cup Canal"—a winding stream made of transparent resin, resembling the one in the Han Dynasty. LED "wine cups" float in the water, with famous lines from the Book of Songs engraved on the cups. When a cup floats to a visitor, the tabletop will automatically light up with a projection of the poem's interpretation.
