Warhammer 40 Spring: Loyalty of the Multiverse

Chapter 6 Think Tank Director Astrid

Chapter 6 Think Tank Director As Teres

The mutants advanced rapidly, and the gene stealers behind them began firing at Quan Tiehua relentlessly with long-range weapons.

Quan Tiehua did not dodge at all, but faced the attack coming at him head-on. His magnetic boots made a sticky, squelching sound as they walked across the corridor.

He moved forward quickly, raised his bomb gun, aimed, and fired continuously. The repeated bombardments hit the same spot.

The attack of just three explosive shells pierced through the mutant's tough flesh. The three shells exploded at the same point, creating a huge cavity the size of an adult's fist.

Seeing this scene, Quan Tiehua couldn't help but sigh at the monster's incredible toughness.

Several more pinpoint shots annihilated most of the mutant's body. Watching this human shield collapse, even crushing some third and fourth generation sneaky creatures behind it who hadn't had time to dodge, was truly awe-inspiring.

Quan Tiehua also drew his combat dagger without hesitation and rushed forward. He stepped on the mutated body and leaped high into the air, then forcefully stabbed the disgusting, long head of one of the progenitors.

With a single slash, he finished off the enemy, and with his explosive pistol, he began to eliminate the gene stealers rushing towards him.

He didn't know how many gene stealers were here, but what he needed to do now was to completely eliminate this area.

Through the battle group's communications, he had already learned of the arrival of reinforcements. He could also clearly hear the fierce fighting on the bridge. Several brothers had already fallen there forever, their souls returning to the throne.

This mission, coupled with the sudden battle on the planet's surface, means their battle group might very well perish here.

Quan Tiehua would not allow such a thing to happen.

Moreover, seeing the progress bar on the transparent panel in his mind had already reached 97%, his guess was confirmed: this thing was indeed related to killing.

It's highly likely that this was the work of Tzeentch and Khorne in concert. But logically, that's unlikely, since these four warp vendors are all brainwashed and their brains have turned to idiocy.

To suggest they join forces would be a bit of a joke, but if they add a little something to each other's plans, it might be possible.

Everyone plans to unite ×
Original plan to add some ingredients √
But there's no time to worry about that now; let the chaotic conspiracy be. At least for now, he's still a loyal Astartes.

The thermal cannons on both sides of the landing assault boats were removed, and as much of their energy as possible was packed away and taken away.

The weight involved was self-evident, and even the original casting was exhausted. Fortunately, his brothers had cleared away most of the dangers from the ship.

And so he began collecting the molten metal cannons from the assault boats his brothers used for boarding operations throughout the ship.

……

Meanwhile, the battle on the bridge had escalated to a stage of generals versus generals, soldiers versus soldiers. As both sides exchanged barbs with ranged weapons, they eventually closed in and took up melee weapons, engaging in fierce combat.

Whether loyalists or chaos factions, their corpses began to lie one on top of the other in the hall.

The captain, Affos, and Lyonst, each wielding a melee weapon—one a chainsaw sword, the other a power sword—knelt side-by-side on one knee, panting, staring at the handsome man before them.

As a high daemon under Slaanesh in the warp, he had always longed to come to the real world and experience the physical pleasure it brought.

In the tens of thousands of years he'd spent in the subspace, he'd almost forgotten what those canned foods tasted like.

Every time I see the Lord of Pleasure devouring the souls of the Eldar, I feel a delicious taste of fear and regret.

Even a single drop of juice was enough to entice him. Driven to the extreme by his cravings, he even set his sights on the noise warriors of those depraved groups.

But... he was no match for him; Fulgrim sent him flying with a single blow. It wasn't until the Lord of Pleasure sensed the unusual soul fluctuations that he sent him to the real world. But working alongside the Noise Warriors filled him with immense excitement.

In a battle, some damage is to be expected... that's perfectly reasonable.

Commander Aphrodite stood up. "For the Emperor!"

He swung his sword directly, but the person simply raised their hand and used their spiritual energy to firmly imprison him.

At the same time, with a gentle breath, the lips painted bright red with lipstick enveloped Captain Afus in a pink mist, plunging him into an endless dreamlike state.

Boom boom boom.

But the next second, countless heavy explosive shells blasted directly at the man. Yet, he was still firmly imprisoned in place by an invisible barrier.

Altrance's entire breastplate was shattered and blood was spilling out. Even his helmet was nowhere to be found, having been thrown away during the battle. Blood on his forehead covered most of his face.

But he still looked at the man floating in the air with anger, and fired at him with the heavy bomb gun in his hand.

"For the Emperor."

Meanwhile, Captain Aphrodite, who was shrouded in pink mist in mid-air, had already fallen into an illusion.

But at that moment, a deep blue lightning bolt suddenly streaked across the sky, followed by more lightning bolts converging into a ball, and the next second a subspace teleportation vortex portal suddenly opened.

A figure clad in Terminator power armor, with a tall Imperial Manifesto banner on his back, and wielding a massive hammer engraved with various Imperial Manifesto symbols, slowly stepped out of the portal.

The moment Astralis, the chapter's think tank director, appeared, he unleashed a barrage of fire from his double-barreled explosive rifle at the demon-possessed mortal in the air.

The psychic energy within his body surged and adhered to the explosive bombs, directly shattering the demon's psychic shield and striking the demon's mortal body one after another.

In just a second or two, the expensive dress and handsome appearance were torn to shreds.

A terrifying, blasphemous figure appeared before them. (I'm truly sorry, but I really can't describe Slaanesh. You all know what I mean.)
In an instant, terrifying warp energy erupted like a bomb shockwave, engulfing the entire ship.

At this moment, all electronic communication lost its original function.

At this moment, the captain of the guild, Aphrodite, who was originally trapped in the illusion, was also thrown out of the illusion and fell to the distance.

At this moment, Leonster, who was far away, had even fallen into despair, as this was completely inconsistent with the intelligence.

Due to a misjudgment in intelligence, the Seraphim Legion is now likely to face annihilation.

The mission they received did not mention the existence of warp demons. Furthermore, subsequent investigations did not reveal any large-scale warp demon sacrifices.

This is very unreasonable.

……

I don't know why, guys, but I have a feeling this book won't get a contract.
