Chapter 82 81. Comments on "The Male Protagonist's Self-cultivation"

This is a work recommended to me by a reader friend.

"The Male Protagonist's Self-cultivation", author: Wen Ruo Bucheng, level 3 author.

Category: Suspense-Mystery Suspense.

【Introduction】

Anyone would be ecstatic to travel into the book they wrote, but Wen Yiqian was a little panicked.

"If I had known I wouldn't have written a dark story. I can run into some psychopathic murderers just by going out. Who can handle that?"

(ps: dark wind, sand sculpture direction.)
【Golden Ten Chapters】

Chapter One: A Dark Man. The protagonist, Wen Yiqian, travels to the world of his own novel, and it's the latest chapter. He can't predict the future plot, and his cheat code is gone. In short, he's nothing but handsome. And now, he's being held at knifepoint by the ordinary woman he once toyed with.

Chapter 2: Tiehanhan's Counterattack. The protagonist suddenly realizes that if he continues to panic, he will surely die, so he decides to strike back. So, he pretends to be the protagonist, grabs the opponent's knife, reveals the opponent's murder process, and proposes a more exciting game with the opponent.

Chapter 3: I'm such a good person. The protagonist reports the incident to the police and gives a statement, successfully proving himself a good person. The woman escorts him away, nearly winning his heart. Unfortunately, due to various settings, the protagonist can't unlock his phone and can't add the beautiful woman on WeChat. Suddenly, it rains, a perfect setting for a thriller, but he's still waiting for the bus.

Chapter 4: A Rainy Day. The protagonist laments his fate on the platform, sobbing in the pouring rain. His grief infects the elderly man beside him. Their suffering leaves the little granddaughter deeply disturbed. After a meal, the protagonist expresses his gratitude to the elderly man. But as the elderly man gets in a taxi, the rain begins to fall again. The killer appears again.

Chapter 5: Chasing the Murderer. The protagonist stops a passerby on an electric scooter and, under the pretext of assisting in the pursuit, pursues the criminal. After several turns, they finally catch up with the taxi, only to discover that the heavy rain has led them to the wrong person. He then borrows the passerby's phone to check the security camera.

Chapter 6: Hunting. The protagonist asks passersby to stay out of the way and makes his way to the abandoned rooftop. Sure enough, the serial killer is threatening an elderly man and a little girl with suicide. He prepares to attack from behind, but trips over broken bricks. Embarrassment is inevitable, but he needs to save face, so he, the king of gab, begins to talk.

Chapter 7: Reversal. The protagonist leads the murderer away, then transforms himself, first revealing his identity and forcing him to kill him, then analyzing how he solved two bizarre cases in a row. This series of shocks leaves the murderer in a state of panic.

Chapter 8, Specialties. Inside the interrogation room, the protagonist successfully defends himself once again, clearing himself of suspicion. However, the supporting actress suddenly points out that the protagonist is actually a truly intelligent criminal.

Chapter 9: No need to guess. The supporting actress was very close to the protagonist, full of momentum, but ended up being sprayed in the face by the protagonist. To wipe it off or not, it was a difficult question for the protagonist. In the end, he walked out of the police station smoothly and prepared to live his life to the fullest.

Chapter 10: The Imagination Monster. The female supporting character escorts the protagonist home, otherwise he wouldn't even be able to find his way home. Downstairs, the female supporting character once again confronts the protagonist, pointing out the possibility that he might have committed a crime, imagining countless scenarios. The protagonist suddenly confesses his identity to her, which in turn scares the female supporting character.

【Brief Comment】

If Wen Ruo is not a success, his works include "The Male Protagonist's Self-cultivation", "The Master of Fear", "Infinite Force" and "Infinite Cheating".

When that friend recommended this book to me, he hoped that I would write down my feelings about it.

Since others think highly of us, why should we refuse?

First, the performance.

本书1月1日发布,3月13日上架,首订4000,3月16日入精。

4 collections, 1 leader.

There were 158 books on the men's section that day, with this book ranking second.

At the same time, there was "The Strongest Female Lead in the Universe" (ranked sixth) by the great writer Zuiwoxiaoyiren.

This book is also the only one among the books put on the shelves at the same time that has been selected as a masterpiece.

As can be seen from the above, this book is taking off judging by its performance alone.

Secondly, the content.

I've only read a dozen chapters, so I can only talk about my initial experience.

This book is very entertaining, not particularly funny, and the setting is not particularly surprising.

What’s interesting is that the protagonist is a failed author who specializes in dark stories, especially high-IQ crimes.

After he traveled through time and became the protagonist of the book, he was useless except for being handsome.

A failed writer, an internet giant, and a fool are his true characteristics.

This is very different from the general time travel literature, which is a good point to watch. Another point is that he has a strong desire to perform and a sense of immersion.

After all, he is a writer with many years of experience and is good at bringing in stories.

So, although he didn't have an outline for this book and knew nothing about the future plot, he still remembered some of the small pitfalls.

The most important thing is that he is good at acting. He can interpret the character of the protagonist in the book and pretend to be a high-IQ criminal.

In fact, the more he acted, the more real it became, and the more similar it became to the real person, to the point that even he himself couldn't tell whether he had traveled through time or was really himself.

Again, the funny part.

There aren't many jokes in this book.

The main source of laughter comes from the protagonist's cute contrast.

Tie Hanhan relies on his acting skills to deceive those ignorant criminals, tease the female supporting characters, and relax himself after the performance, which is very realistic.

This is consistent with the image of writers in the minds of thousands of readers, who pretend to be highly intelligent.

Readers can make comments while enhancing their sense of immersion, resonating with the protagonist, and responding to the story.

They even suggested that authors write more jokes and fewer cases to avoid 404 errors.

In addition, this book is relatively short, and many details need to be carefully considered because it is easy to cross the line.

So just like the author himself said, hurry up and catch up, you can’t keep following him.

【to sum up】

Overall, this book is light-hearted, funny, contrastingly cute, and a little suspenseful.

Apart from being short, there are no major problems. It is worth recommending.
Writing is not easy, so cherish every moment!

I’m Cang Yiwei, and I’m here to promote “Cang’s Ramblings”.

Welcome to the paradise of book reviews.

【Cang's Ramblings】

I finally finished two short articles as promised to others.

I also realized that this is really a big burden.

Overall, I personally like this book.

The suspense category has always been a category that I pay close attention to.

My only concern is whether the plot after this book will be safe enough.

After all, temporary results don’t mean anything.

Chunjie Xiaolong, a great writer in the suspense category, has had five of his books banned!

I think the author should plan carefully and never let the story he has worked so hard to conceive end up in the freezer.

All categories are the same.

It's a funny thing. One of the chapters of my book review short story was hacked a while ago.

The book I reviewed is actually safe.

Even a gentle, modest and low-key author like me has to go through times when I need to overcome difficulties.

A little bit of scientific knowledge: the 49th Heavenly Tribulation, the 69th Heavenly Tribulation, the 99th Heavenly Tribulation, the Nirvana Purple Thunder Tribulation, the Qiantian Great Thunder Tribulation, the One to Nine Transformations of the Scattered Immortal Tribulation, the Five Elements Thunder Tribulation, the Sky Fire Thunder Tribulation, the Mysterious Water Thunder Tribulation, the Gangfeng Thunder Tribulation, the Yimu Thunder Tribulation, the World-Destroying Thunder Tribulation...

I wish all authors success in completing their books!
