As a former fantasy fan, I used to pay close attention to both new and popular titles. I even created a fantasy reading list and collected a ton of new fantasy titles. Three months later, almost all of them were abandoned.

Everyone is well aware of the definition of fantasy. Long ago, fantasy and mysterious fantasy were one and the same. Even after the separation, mysterious fantasy remains mysterious. Nothing remains of fantasy except the power of love.

Now let’s talk about this book formally.

In terms of monthly tickets, this book is currently ranked 23. In the fantasy category, this book has been at the top of the fantasy category monthly ticket list since May last year.

I've read this book several times, and it's as obscure as Lord of Mysteries.

The destruction of the world in the prologue is already quite disorienting. At the outset, the protagonist, Huai Shi, is tricked into applying for a gigolo job. He witnesses a tragedy and calls the police. After returning to his mansion, he experiences a haunted house-like existence, is summoned by a mysterious organization, and is invaded by a psychic force. This is followed by a series of mysterious, fantastical, and uncanny phenomena and events. This leaves one wondering: is this a game, or reality?

Add to that the complicated settings, obscure organization names, abrupt memes, plot insertions, etc., and you're completely confused and can't see clearly!
Many of the settings in this book are like incomprehensible scriptures to readers who have never played this type of game or studied this type of organization.

The protagonist of this book, Huai Shi, is actually a point of criticism. The monster in the book "This Monster Is Not So Cold" that I recommended before is named Huai Xu. Can the two lovely authors come out and clarify? Is there any connection?
Furthermore, some of the writing in this book is quite advanced and confusing. Although the author is fully capable of handling it, it actually reflects the shortcomings of the fantasy category itself and is a bit contrived.

Went back again.

Fantasy, aside from Harry Potter fanfiction, also includes Cthulhu, Steam and Gun, Dragons and Knights, Vampires, Witches, Werewolves, and so on, all from the Far West, epic masterpieces or American comics. The readership is really limited.

This also reminds me of a recent episode of "Tucao Conference." Zheng Yunlong has been hailed as China's "Prince of Musicals," yet he himself consistently claims that promoting musicals in China is difficult. One guest remarked, "It's like calling an American the Prince of Peking Opera and then promoting Peking Opera in the US. How could it not be difficult?"

Therefore, although this book's performance in the fantasy category is unmatched, boosting the morale of the category and triggering a wave of fantasy trends, in terms of overall audience, it is far behind the popular categories.

However, this book is indeed of high quality, with excellent writing, bizarre settings, and a complete plot. If you like this kind of work, hurry up and get in on the fun~

After the first order came out, I took a look and found that the effect was not particularly good.

Since then, I haven't paid any further attention to this book.

Later, when I was preparing to predict the Twelve Heavenly Kings of 2019, I began to study those who performed well in various categories and were expected to become the king.

It was only then that I realized that Feng Yue's "Apocalypse Forecast" seemed to have gained a firm foothold and its performance had stabilized.

The predictions given at the time also listed him as one of the candidates for the fantasy classification.

When the results came out, he was indeed crowned king.

On the one hand, it is related to his strong writing skills, story ideas, and personal connections;
On the one hand, it is also related to the fact that the fantasy category really needs a leader.

Frankly speaking, the performance of his book is not particularly outstanding in the broad category.

Especially in the increasingly competitive light novel category, there are already several books with first orders of more than 8000.
