This is the third work by Chen Dong, and it is also the first time I have read his work.

Thinking back to those days, I really wanted to read every word and sentence over and over again.

From these ten short chapters, we can see the author's careful conception. There is foreshadowing at the end of each chapter, and the appearance of each character is for the needs of the plot.

The characters have very distinct personalities. They survive on a deserted island and kill decisively. It's either you die or I live. It's very straightforward!
The wild world is described in such a brilliant and detailed way that people have a strong desire to read on.

Mr. Chen Dong particularly likes to write stories about the wild world, the mythological stories in "Classic of Mountains and Seas", the inheritance passed down from ancient times, and the stories of immortality and the great emperor.

"My son Wang Teng has the potential to be an emperor!" This must be a household name! (From "The Great Ruler")
However, the occasional appearance of some names and book titles also symbolizes the author's tribute and feelings.

To put it simply, this book was indeed a very popular fantasy novel back then. As for how popular it was, I was still young and didn't quite understand.

Regarding "The Realm of Immortality", this is the first book by Chen Dong that I have read, it is amazing!
The reason is that I was fascinated by the splendor of the goddess Lannuo ascending to heaven at the beginning.

But unexpectedly, after entering the other world, I found that the goddesses, celestial maidens, and saints were not as glamorous as the protagonist.

Speaking of radiant, a few days ago, my three-year-old daughter, who had learned this word from somewhere, blinked and asked me, "Daddy, do you think I'm radiant?"

In my heart, Chen Dong’s peak work is “The Great Ruler”.

The subsequent "Perfect World" and "Sacred Ruins" are just continuing the brilliance of "The Great Ruler".

Moreover, although "The Holy Ruins" has over 10 million fans, to be honest, it is at least three streets behind "The Great Ruler".

Especially the later updates were weak and short, and there were constant criticisms.

At this point, his "Jade-like Trilogy" is about to be completed.

If the next book does not reverse the passive situation of weak updates, its performance will definitely not surpass "The Sacred Ruins".

Many platinum writers of the older generation are on the decline. I hope Chen Dong can change his obsession with making money, work hard on his creations, and provide better works to the readers.
