Later, some people said the plot about making private servers was enjoyable to read, while others said the plot about private servers was boring and had been overused. Others said the essay competition was enjoyable to write, while still others said the essay competition was too superficial.

Readers have different opinions, and Lao Wang tries his best to balance them.

Regarding the details in the book, some readers pointed out errors, which I am very grateful for and have corrected. However, I will not correct most of the errors pointed out by readers, because I have my own experience and I try my best to verify the information.

For example, some people say that the rice in Peking University's No. 1 canteen is very hard. The problem is that this was originally a complaint from Peking University students about the No. 1 canteen in 2004, and the original words were that the rice was as hard as bullets.

I'm saying Xie Yang's food in Hangzhou was worrying; please don't take offense if this offends anyone. It's because the food in Longdu is too heavily seasoned; the dishes from the Yangtze River Delta region taste like they're completely bland to the people of Longdu.

Urban stories are quite difficult to write, mainly because it's hard to let loose.

Furthermore, the chapters released weren't planned well. If they had been released through the essay contest, the word count and plot would have been suitable. The last few free chapters fall during the transition period of changing locations, which will definitely affect the initial subscription results.
