This has always been the subject matter we are best at, but to be honest, it has also always been a niche and unpopular category with high investment and low output for quite a long time.

Don’t you all like fantasy? Sometimes, we ask ourselves this question.

But to be honest, I really like this and I really want to write about it, so I decided to be willful again and this book came into being.

In fact, the idea of ​​this book was conceived a long time ago. I had a general idea at the beginning of last year, but I was unable to start writing it.

Some readers have discovered that the worldview of this world is somewhat similar to the evolutionary world of a copy in the later part of the previous book. It is not that this book copied the previous one, but when the previous book was written last year, I had the idea of ​​"anyway, this design will not be used in the short term, so I will just use this book to write something and see how it goes."

There is no need to make up for the lack of content in that book, as that part is quite superficial.

Of course, we cannot directly compare the settings. The original settings have been revised many times and are completely unrecognizable. The only reference value left is probably the names of a few races.

Don't worry about writing something bad later. Those who are familiar with me know that I only start writing after I have completed the design of the entire world and the main line. There are several beginnings for the same world before I choose one to start. This fantasy layered world is probably enough to write for a very long time.

Finally, I started writing. I don’t know what the outcome will be, but I hope it will be a good one.

This is a bit off topic, let’s just talk about this book.

Some people mentioned that the cheat code of this book is a bit mysterious. But if you really read it, you will find that its essence is completely different. Mine is more like a cram school that brings people together, or a chat group that brings people together to fight BOSS.

The design of this cheat code was based on some of my ideas. It was a flash of inspiration when I heard an author mention that "the best cheat code is to build relationships between people". This may be what has been holding me back from writing.

This is to solve the biggest problem of our past Western fantasy games - the extremely slow pace.

Laying the groundwork, upgrading, meeting people, establishing connections, discovering conspiracies, finding the BOSS, and then the decisive battle. There may only be one or two climaxes in hundreds of thousands of words, while other types of writing have already slapped themselves in the face N times and changed the scene several times.

It's the same when I read fantasy books. They're obviously well written, but as I read them, I put them down without realizing it. When I pick them up again, I've forgotten a lot of things.

Our attempt this time was to use this hall to expedite the connection between the various characters, allowing them to enter the story as quickly as possible, establish connections, and advance the plot, attempting to shorten the intervals between each climax and get straight to the main story. To be frank, if it weren't for this design, the plot would have probably reached 400,000 words by now. However, in practice, some new problems arose, such as overly rapid transitions, too many supporting characters and other characters appearing in the story, too much early involvement without sufficient character foreshadowing, and a confusing field of view.

Well, after all, there is no perfect book. If you choose one, you lose another.

I don’t know whether this is a profit or loss, but at least, it is an attempt that can be tried in theory.

When I wrote Mad Lich, I added light-hearted content and used the first-person narration to let readers better understand the protagonist's actions and thoughts. I tried to lower the threshold for readers, but it seems that I actually raised the threshold for reading and limited the perspective of the story, making it very picky about readers.

The author's choices, especially those that go against the market, often lead to simultaneous developments that are either good or bad, and only the results can determine whether they are right or wrong.

As a writer, I can only try my best and hope to give readers a better experience. I dare not say that this book is necessarily right.

But at least, this is what I did with all my effort.

Sincerity is probably the only thing the author can offer.

At least, it is different from most books on the market.

It has been a long time since I wrote a book so seriously. I hope you like it. I hope you will like this Western fantasy continent and the many races on it.

I will try my best to write a better book, racking my brains and giving it my all.
