Chapter 2: Filled with Rage
Before she could recover, another sharp pain shot through her head, followed by a flood of memories rushing into her mind.

No wonder those two were wearing patched clothes; they died while paragliding and were still wearing them in 1975.

The original owner of this body was also named Liu Chuxue. She was seventeen years old this year and lived in Liushu Village, Changping County, not far from Beijing.

Yesterday, my biological father was working at the reservoir construction site when he was unfortunately hit on the leg by a rolling rock. When my mother received the news, she rushed to the health center. Yesterday, when it got dark, she sent someone back with a message saying that the situation was not good and the health center told them to transfer to a higher-level hospital for treatment.

Early this morning, her grandparents went to the health center to inquire about the situation. The original owner of this body was originally going to go with them, since she was studying at a high school in the commune, and they thought it wouldn't be too late to go to the school after visiting the health center.

However, Aunt Ge Xiulan persuaded Grandpa and Grandma to send a letter to her married sister at the farm in the northern suburbs today, and to ask her to borrow money from her brother-in-law on behalf of the family, on the grounds that her father needed money to treat his leg.

The journey from Liushu Village to the North Suburb Farm involved crossing mountains. She had only been in the mountains for a short time when she was drugged and knocked unconscious from behind.

Recalling the conversation he had overheard, he realized that the original owner had been betrayed by his own family. He was extremely familiar with his aunt Ge Xiulan's voice in his memory, and there was absolutely no way he could be mistaken.

This realization filled Liu Chuxue, an outsider, with rage. She wanted nothing more than to go and beat the person up right now. She couldn't understand why Ge Xiulan would do such a thing.
Based on my experience of reading countless novels and watching numerous TV dramas in later generations, there is only one possibility: profit.

Just as she was lost in thought, she heard rustling sounds outside the cave. She couldn't help but feel alarmed. She was in a bad situation. Whether it was a person or a wild animal, she was now a lamb to the slaughter.

Soon, the rocks that the two people had been blocking the entrance to the cave were moved, and someone crawled in.

Liu Chuxue's heart was pounding in her throat, and she didn't dare to utter a sound.

The man who entered the cave had a resolute appearance, but his condition was clearly not good at the moment. After seeing the situation inside the cave, he was stunned for a moment.

Fu Yancheng had stayed in this cave before during a mission. He had assumed someone was hiding prey there, which was why he had blocked half of the entrance with stones. He never expected there to be a girl inside. When Liu Chuxue saw that the person was wearing a military uniform, she breathed a sigh of relief and immediately cried out for help: "Soldier comrade, please help me."

Fu Yancheng was already exhausted and his face was frighteningly pale, but when he heard her cry for help, he gritted his teeth and moved forward a few steps before he could see Liu Chuxue's condition clearly.

He endured the excruciating pain, knelt down in front of Liu Chuxue, pulled a dagger from his military boot, and used his last bit of strength to cut the rope binding Liu Chuxue's hands. He then collapsed against the cave wall behind him.

This startled Liu Chuxue, who was about to express her gratitude: "Comrade, what's wrong?"

She had barely finished asking when she smelled blood and asked in alarm, "Are you injured?"

Fu Yancheng looked at the pretty girl in front of him, raised his hand to his chest, and tried to take something out of his shirt pocket. Obviously, he was too weak to do it now, and he failed several times.

Liu Chuxue had already struggled to sit up. Seeing his movements, she quickly asked, "What do you want to do?"

When she saw the pen tucked into his shirt pocket, she seemed to guess what was going on: "You want to use a pen to write?"

Fu Yancheng was surprised by the girl's keen insight and nodded slightly to her.

Liu Chuxue stretched her not-so-flexible wrists, and was slightly stunned when she saw a pair of slightly rough hands. She had really transmigrated into someone else's body.
