Chapter 78 Chief Rong's Past

"Chief Rong, who is this?"

Aunt Lu walked out of the house and pushed away the chief who was blocking Bai Wanwan.

Chief Rong had no choice but to step aside.

Aunt Lu grabbed Bai Wanwan's hand and looked at her carefully. "You are the mother of the tiger cub. Am I right?"

It is easy for people to have a good impression of someone who expresses kindness directly.

Bai Wanwan was no exception, a smile appeared on her face, "Yes, I am the mother of the tiger cub."

Aunt Lu got a positive answer and reached out her other hand to hold Chief Rong, "Now that you have a female and a cub, your father will definitely be happy for you."

Bai Wanwan turned to look at Chief Rong and found that the corners of his lips were stretched into straight lines on his expressionless face.

Aunt Lu also saw his emotions and sighed.
"What happened in the past is in the past, Chief Rong. You have to look forward to it. You still have to take good care of your female and cubs."

Bai Wanwan quickly explained, "Aunt Lu, he and I..."

Before she could finish her words...Aunt Lu put her hand together with Chief Rong's hand.

She had a kind face, her eyes curved when she smiled, and she looked at the two of them as if they were her own children.

"From now on...you have to live a good life."

Bai Wanwan was a little embarrassed. She and Qiurong knew best what was going on between them.

They are not partners, so how can they live together?
I quietly looked at Chief Rong, hoping he would explain, but when I looked up, I saw he was also staring at me.

She blinked at him quickly, but Chief Rong just stared at her without saying a word.

She scratched her fingers against his clinging palm again.

After these little moves, it was like throwing it to a blind man, and Chief Rong was not moved at all.

Aunt Lu, however, saw it all clearly. She mistook it for the two young beastmen's intimacy and patted their hands with a smile. "Look at you two, if Chief Rong's father knew about this, he would definitely be very happy."

Bai Wanwan quickly forced a smile and nodded awkwardly.

Suddenly, there was a noise from the cubs inside, and Bai Wanwan's attention was immediately drawn away. She looked past Aunt Lu and into the stone house.

The tiger cub ran to the door and took a look, but Bai Wanwan couldn't even see it clearly, and it disappeared again.

Aunt Lu smiled and put her hand away. "Look, I forgot what I was talking about. Come in quickly."

Bai Wanwan was very excited. After Aunt Lu moved aside, she separated her hand from Chief Rong and walked quickly inside.

The cubs in the basket also heard the voices of their brothers, and they all stood up straight and jumped around in the basket.

Chief Rong stood at the door, lowered his head and looked at his hands. After staring for a few seconds, he curled up his palms and clenched them.

"Tiger cub, come here, your mother is here."

The tiger cub could barely understand some simple words. It curiously circled around Bai Wanwan three times, then slightly raised its nose.

As if it smelled a familiar scent, it suddenly pounced on her, hugged Bai Wanwan's legs, and began to rub her with its head affectionately.

It turned out to be his own cub. Even after being separated for so many days, it could still recognize him.

Bai Wanwan's heart almost melted when she saw it rubbing against her cute face.

He immediately put the basket on the ground and held the tiger cub in his arms.

As soon as the tiger cub jumped into her arms, it wagged its tail excitedly.

Several other cubs also jumped out of the basket. When they smelled the scent of their compatriots, they all climbed onto Bai Wanwan and huddled together to play with their brothers.

Bai Wanwan was amused by them and laughed heartily, kissing one and hugging that.

Aunt Lu, who was standing next to Chief Rong, had tears in her eyes as she watched. She turned to look at Chief Rong and said, "Chief Rong, you have better taste than your father. You found a good female. Seeing how well she treats the cubs, you will definitely be very happy in the future."

Chief Rong's eyes did not leave Bai Wanwan. This scene reminded him of his childhood.

Aunt Lu was right. Regardless of Bai Wanwan's past, she was indeed a good mother. His cub was happy to be born from her belly.

Aunt Lu also noticed something was amiss between Qiu Rong and Bai Wan Wan. She tugged at Qiu Rong's arm and said, "Is there something going on between you and her? Aunt Lu thinks that if there really is a misunderstanding, you must clarify it. You'll definitely regret missing out on such a good female."

"Aunt Lu, you know I still have things to do." Chief Rong withdrew his gaze from Bai Wanwan.

Aunt Lu frowned. "Why do you have to do those dangerous things? You have a female now, and you have cubs. You have the responsibility to take care of them. If you lose them..."

Aunt Lu couldn't continue. "Those things are in the past, Chief Rong, live a good life."

Live a good life...

Chief Rong lowered his eyelids. He was not worthy of living a good life, and Bai Wanwan was not his female.

Bai Wanwan's mind and eyes were full of her children. She was happily playing with them. When she looked up, Chief Rong and Aunt Lu were gone.

Turning around, I saw Chief Rong standing outside the gate.

The snow had stopped falling, but the ground was still thick with snow, and he seemed not to feel the cold.

Standing motionless in the snow.

Aunt Lu also quickly came out from the inner room, holding a stone basin full of fresh meat.

"Come on, it's time to eat. You've come so far, you must be hungry, right?"

Bai Wanwan was not hungry, she felt full when she saw the raw meat.

But several of the cubs pounced on it excitedly, and two kittens even climbed over the edge of the basin and got in to eat it with relish.

"Look, the kids are starving."

Aunt Lu gently stroked the kitten's head and said, "Eat more. It will help you grow up quickly."

Bai Wanwan glanced at Chief Rong outside and whispered to Aunt Lu, "Aunt Lu, can you tell me about Chief Rong?"

Aunt Lu was a little surprised, "He didn't tell you?"

Bai Wanwan smiled and nodded, "Well, he never told me that."

Aunt Lu looked at her and shook her head for a long time. "He didn't want to tell you because he wanted to make you less worried. So I can't tell you either. Don't worry about him. Chief Rong is very talented and will protect you and the cubs."

On the other side, only two afterimages of Zhu Xiu and Yin Da remained.

Xin Feng wanted to go forward to help, but his talent was slightly inferior and he couldn't keep up with the speed, so he could easily hurt his teammates by mistake.

He could only stand by and wait.

Snowflakes splashed from the snowfield flew all over the sky, and the sky was getting darker and darker.

Suddenly, Yin Da was thrown out, and when he landed, he spat out a mouthful of blood, which soaked the snow.

Yin Da didn't even dare to stop. He immediately turned over and jumped up, staggering to escape.

But a dark shadow quickly wrapped around it.

"Ah! Zhu Xiu, I admit defeat. Can you let me go?"

Yin Da has already realized the terrifying strength of Zhu Xiu. If he continues to fight, he will only die.

Seeing that Zhu Xiu didn't say anything, he struggled to escape.

The king cobra opened its mouth and bit his abdomen.

The king of the Wandering Beast City was killed in an instant.

Xin Feng watched this scene from afar and was shocked by Zhu Xiu's strength.

Just as he approached Zhu Xiu, the king cobra suddenly turned its eyes, extended its long tongue, and locked its scarlet eyes on him with bloodthirsty cruelty.
